⚠ COVID-19 - Le Salon Auto Sport de Québec reporté à une date ultérieure!
PRESS RELEASE - For immediate release
Quebec City, March 19, 2020 - The organization of the Quebec City Sport Auto Show salutes the efforts of public health authorities and the Government of Quebec in their efforts to control and curb the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19.
On March 12, at the request of Quebec public health, Quebec City cancelled all events scheduled on the ExpoCité site until April 12. Yesterday, a communication obtained from ExpoCité announced that the Quebec City Sport Auto Show, scheduled from May 1 to 3, could not take place given the current situation.
"We are currently working to postpone the event to a later date, depending on how the situation evolves. The organization of the event has been put on hold and will resume as soon as the context allows it and as soon as we are given a postponement date. The health of our exhibitors and visitors is our priority. The condition of COVID-19 concerns us as much as you do. We are confident that the exceptional measures adopted by the Government of Quebec can stop the spread of the virus and restore the situation," said Martin D'Anjou, President of the event.
"Until then, it is our duty as citizens to respect the recommendations of public health. Our collective actions are a guarantee for the future. Stay home, take the opportunity to spend time with your family," adds Karine Albert, Director of Operations.
