Should NASCAR do more for South America?
Back in August of this year Sprint, NASCAR premier series long time title sponsor, appointed Bolivian American Marcelo Claure as CEO. Shortly after it wad announced Sprint wad pulling out from sponsoring NASCAR. Many speculate, his soccer background (he owns a professional team and he is a member of the FIFA board) will see Sprint "send" its advertizing dollars that way.
In January, world renown Banana and salad producer, Chiquita, announced it would relicate from the NASCAR Hall of fame building, after moving in only in 2011. The Brazillian company wants to move its headquarters closer to his source and to consumers.
