Plattsburgh Hosts Mike Watts Motorsports Show
For immediate release – Airborne Speedway – April 4, 2012 Plattsburgh, NY – More than 15 Ernie’s Discount Tools DIRTcar Modifieds will be on display when the Mike Watts Motorsports Show, presented by Budweiser and Gilligan’s Getaway, opens Friday, April 13 at the Crete Civic Center in Plattsburgh. |
Show hours are Friday, April 13, 6-10 p.m. and Saturday, April 14, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Over 70 race machines in all will be on hand, including several Sportsman Modifieds representing Airborne’s newest division, Limited Late Models, Renegades, Mini Modifieds, vintage cars, classic cruisers, a custom drag bike and a custom-built race simulator. Airborne Modified track champions Patrick Dupree of Saranac Lake, George Foley of Vermontville and Leon Gonyo of Chazy are among the drivers who will display their 2012 mounts. Drawings for free pass packages for Airborne’s Fun Karts track will be held Friday and Saturday. Admission is $7 for adults and $2 for kids (6-12).
