L.P. DUMOULIN DÉTERMINÉ PLUS QUE JAMAIS POUR L'ÉPREUVE À DOMICILE
NASCAR Pinty's Series – « Le 50 tours Hôtel Le Concorde »

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Aug. 5, 2019) – Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) announced today that Alex Tagliani will drive the organization's No. 51 Tundra Aug. 25 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ont. Tagliani's No. 51 Tundra will carry sponsorship from three Canadian companies; CanTorque, Spectra Premium and RONA.
The Canadian has two poles, 15 laps led, one top-five and two top-10 finishes across four career NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series starts, all coming at the 2.459-mile road course north of the border. In addition to four Gander Truck Series starts, Tagliani has compiled four poles, 92 laps led, four top-five and five top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 13.0 across eight NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, all on road courses. He currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Pinty's Series where he has recorded one win, one pole, 42 laps led, three top-five and five top-10 finishes across four starts and sits fourth in the championship standings this season.
Overall across 78 career Pinty's Series starts Tagliani has collected nine wins, 10 poles, 33 top-five and 53 top-10 finishes, including a win in last year's race which was held prior to the Gander Truck Series event. He finished second in the championship standings in 2018 and third in 2016. He will once again pull double-duty, competing in the 51-lap Pinty's Series race Sunday morning before the 64-lap Gander Truck Series event Sunday afternoon.
"It's a real honor to represent KBM by driving the 51 truck — I really appreciate Kyle and the entire team's trust in giving me the opportunity to try to win," Tagliani said. "Carrying three Canadian companies to support the initiative at CTMP is really special. CanTorque showcasing their new tools made in Canada, driving a KBM truck equipped with a Spectra Premium Radiator and having lucky fans living a special behind-the-scenes experience feels really unique."
"Having CanTorque join Kyle Busch Motorsports and being featured as primary sponsor on Alex's truck is a dream come true," said Colin Livingston, CanTorque President. "The timing couldn't have been better. CanTorque has been working tirelessly over the past four years to complete the designs of our range of industrial torque and tension products. At the same time, we've developed our 'Made-In-Canada' manufacturing platform and are very proud of the products we're producing. NASCAR and specifically our association with Tag for the last 11 years and now the opportunity with KBM will allow us to properly showcase our products and services as we work to expand our distribution coverage in North America. Racing and business are about capitalizing on timing, which is perfect for KBM, Alex Tagliani and CanTorque to align for the CTMP race. It's no secret that KBM has the best equipment in trucks and that Alex is one of the all-time best drivers at CTMP. We look forward to working with everyone at KBM and are counting the days until the August NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series which is one of the most popular races on the Gander Trucks calendar."
"We are proud to support Tag in his quest for victory, the timing couldn't be more perfect with sweltering heat that we are going thru. Tag's KBM No.51 will be equipped with a Spectra Premium high-performance radiator which does a great job managing these conditions.," said Jason Best, Senior Vice President Aftermarket for Spectra Premium. "We wish him all the best — it would be amazing to see him coming out victorious after a grueling hot race."
"Being part of Alex's NASCAR program since 2017, having him as our RONA brand ambassador on the motorsport scene makes us excited to be part of the great opportunity for him and the ability to offer two great fans the chance to experience the race weekend from behind the scenes with KBM and Tag in their pursuit of victory," said Jonathan Fisette, Marketing Director Media and Sponsorships for RONA. "We invite fans during this year's GP3R 50th anniversary to compete in different fun activities in our RONA challenge kiosk to be eligible for this amazing opportunity at the Gander Outdoors Truck Series race and to have a GP3R representative as a host."

OSCAAR Mods & Pro Sprints Join the Saturday Night Fun at Peterborough Speedway
By Jim Clarke, Clarke Motorsports Communications/First Draft Media
Nothing matches the thrills and excitement of the Hot August Nights Racing Series at Peterborough Speedway. The final month of the 2019 regular season at the tight, tricky bullring on Mount Pleasant Road is packed with close point battles and special events as things wind-down for another year at Central Ontario's favourite place to race.
The popular 5-race homestretch kicks-off Saturday, August 3rd as the OSCAAR Modifieds and Pro Sprints join the Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock and Jiffy Lube Mini Stock divisions. Also on the show will be a 30 'A' main for the KOD Disposal Super Stocks that will serve as a qualifier for the Canadian Short Track Nationals at Jukasa Motor Speedway. The night gets underway with a free, pre-race corn roast.
"Across the board, the point standings in our weekly divisions are tighter than they've been in years," said Peterborough Speedway owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse. "Our teams have been battling hard all season long and the next 5 weeks will determine who gets their name engraved on the championship trophies at the end of the year."
For the Saturday, August 3rd show, pit gates will open at 2:00, with the general admission grandstands unlocked at 4:00 and the night's first green flag scheduled for 6:00.
There is still plenty of exciting action ahead of the Saturday, August 31st Championship Clash. Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup Series teams are booked for a 100 lapper; along with the home track Bone Stock, Mini Stock, Renegade Truck and Late Model divisions Saturday, August 10th. The year's final Summer Toonie Night, presented by Pepsi – Saturday, August 17th – includes a 50 lap Late Model feature event with Bone Stocks, Renegade Trucks, Super Stocks and the Ontario Pro Challenge Series. Find out all the details for each event – including admission prices – by selecting the 'schedule' drop-down menu from the track web-site.
The 2019 campaign marks the 52nd consecutive season of operation for Peterborough Speedway. Tim Burke is Set for a Late Season Super Stock Championship Charge
By Jim Clarke, Clarke Motorsports Communications/First Draft Media
Turn back the clock to opening night; the time of year when drivers in every class had dreams of a track championship. As the schedule wore on, some dropped out of the hunt, while others kept their dog in the fight. With the 2019 regular season in the homestretch, Bancroft's Tim Burke is ready to mount an all-out charge for his inaugural Peterborough Speedway Super Stock title.
With a diverse resume that includes experience in an American-Canadian Tour Late Model, the Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup Series and OSCAAR Modified divisions and the 2016 Peterborough Speedway Renegade Truck championship, Burke and his team are committed to putting everything they have into capturing the crown. With the Super Stock class slated to be part of 4 of the remaining 5 events on calendar, Tim Burke says this is the perfect time for his #99 crew to get hot.
"Some of the changes in the new rules package threw us a curve and that led to a slow start to our season at Peterborough," said the driver. "We've been getting better week-after-week and the effort we're putting into some of the changes we make on the car is starting to pay off. It finally feels consistent and that's showing in our runs. It would've been nice to have a feature win by this point, but the top 5 and top 10 finishes we've been able to log and that's kept us in the hunt."
In addition to his performance on the familiar layout of the tight, tricky bullring on Mount Pleasant Road, Burke and the team also took their show on the road Saturday, June 22nd for another start at Jukasa Motor Speedway. Having been there only once before, the talented wheelman needed to go over his notes to come up with a set-up for the much bigger and faster Southwestern Ontario speed-plant. While he had hoped for a better result at the end of the day, it was still a strong learning experience.
"Looking at the big picture, the trip was good. We picked-up some information on what will work for when we head back there for the Saugeen Shores Transmission event – Sunday, September 1st – paying $5000 to win." Burke admitted. "Even though we lost a cylinder 8 laps into the race, we still managed to finish on the lead lap. It was a little disappointing, but you have to take what the car will give you."
Tim Burke would like to thank his family, friends, fans and crew members for their contributions to the team throughout his career. For the 2019 season, the #99 Super Stock program is proudly supported by Lynval Contracting, Robbie's Hobbies, Bayside Automotive, Howard Race Engines and Clarke Motorsports Communications.

John Baker Jr. Takes His 2nd Straight OMRS Feature Win at Peterborough Speedway
By Jim Clarke, Clarke Motorsports Communications/First Draft Media
It was another exciting night of open-wheeled action as the Ontario Modifieds Racing Series – powered by Torque Builders Inc. and Gen-3 Electrical – got together Saturday, July 27th to tackle the tight, tricky bullring on Mount Pleasant Road.
With 25 laps on the table, Randy Hollingsworth and Craig Scott brought the pack to the green flag for the main event. Hollingsworth and Rick Warnes led a breakaway from the inside line as a 4-car battle for the 3rd position in the running order was being waged behind them. Rob Warnes held it first, with Nick Lees taking his turn in the spot with a lap 6 pass. Lees and Chad Strawn were locked in a 4-car fight for the lead, as Strawn took control of the field on lap 11.
There was action all around the venue known as Canada's Toughest 3rd of a Mile Paved Oval and John Baker Jr. used lapped traffic to his advantage to wrestle the lead away with a lap 21 pass. At the checkered flag, the pilot of the #63 machine held-off a challenge from Strawn and the 12-car field became Baker's Dozen, as the fan favourite wrapped-up his second consecutive Ontario Modifieds Racing Series victory in the caution-free event. Dwight Brown, Lees, Alex Cuzzilla, Rob Warnes, Rick Warnes, Scott, Bob Franks, Willow Barberstock, Hollingsworth and Josh Gruntz completed the running order.
