GEARING UP FOR THE TORONTO MOTORAMA CUSTOM CAR & MOTORSPORTS EXPO

March 13, 14 & 15, 2020 at Toronto's International Centre

TORONTO, ON // JANUARY 27, 2020 • The sixth annual Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo takes over Toronto's International Centre March 13, 14 & 15, filling more than 330,000 square feet with incredible custom cars, hot rods, racing vehicles of all kinds, classics, tuners, car clubs, builders, parts and collectibles vendors, and more.

Chip Foose (right), star of the legendary TV show Overhaulin', will appear Saturday and Sunday at Motorama, meeting fellow auto enthusiasts, posing for pictures and signing autographs. Foose has created four Ridler Award winners – the prestigious 'best in show' honour at the Detroit Autorama – and is a seven-time winner of the Goodguys Street Rod of the Year Award.

Foose's appearance at Motorama is being co-presented, in part, by BASF Canada, Hagerty Insurance and Lincoln Electric.

Less than two months from now, upon entering The Grand Hall (Hall 1), showgoers will be greeted by 28 incredible mostly 'first time shown' cars, many of them built with an eye to debuting them at Motorama.

Every car in the show will have been reviewed and approved by car coordinator Gary Challice and his team, guaranteeing a wide variety of immaculate, interesting and stunning vehicles.

Heading deeper into the show, visitors will enter the Inside Track Racing Zone, Presented by Stoneridge Specialty Insurance. This area will feature racing series, tracks, clubs and motorsports suppliers representing the full spectrum of Canadian racing, including stock cars, drag racing, road racing, rallying, karting and more.

New for 2020 is the addition of the Stoneridge Stage in the Racing Zone, where racers, promoters, officials and members of the community will be interviewed throughout Motorama. And for the first time ever, a stock car build is planned for the Racing Zone. Woven throughout the hall will be several dozen racing vehicles, of all kinds, in The Racers' Corral.

The International Centre's massive Hall 2 will showcase the majority of the car clubs and feature displays. More than a dozen clubs – including this year's Featured Club, the Brantford, Ontario-based Piston Pushers – will attend Motorama, each showcasing a selection of their members' vehicles. JH Restorations, from Windsor, Ontario, is this year's feature builder and will display several of their creations. Feature cars that have appeared at SEMA (Las Vegas) and major shows like the Syracuse Nationals will also be making their Canadian car show debuts.

Hall 2 also plays home to the busy Motorama Stage, where the awards presentations and discussion panels take place.

Returning for a second year, Mayhem… in the Backroom is a party that pays homage to traditional hot rods and custom cars, as well as the rockabilly lifestyle. Presented by ZEHR Insurance Brokers and under the guidance of Brandon Roberts – one of the promoters of the popular Jalopy Jam-Up – Mayhem's vehicle line-up will include offerings from several car clubs and car owners.

For 2020, Mayhem has been relocated to Hall 4 where it will have even more room for the cars, pinstripers, barbers, tattoo artists, bands, the Miss Motorama Pin-Up Pageant and other features that will once again make it a hive of activity at Motorama.

The fifth edition of Spring Fever: Modified Cars & Lifestyle will again be put together by Kristine Hill, producer of the annual Summer Showdown in Simcoe, Ontario. Passionate about modified and tuner cars and the people who embrace the lifestyle, Hill is excited about SF5, which is moving to Hall 3 for this year. Spring Fever is being presented by Burning Rubber Tire & Speed, of Oakville, Ontario.

According to Hill, word of the $1000.00 first-place prize and the $500.00 runner-up prize has spread, with entries coming in from as far away as Florida and Quebec. A wide variety of modified cars and trucks will once again be on display, showcasing everything from luxurious VIP-style tuners, to championship level drift cars, with an emphasis on new builds and trends.

Some exhibitor space and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Vehicle registration applications are still being accepted and reviewed. NASCAR and Mack Trucks Announce Multi-Year Extension

NASCAR and Mack Trucks Announce Multi-Year Extension
Popular NASCAR Salutes Mack Anthem Fan Vote to Return in 2020;
Iconic American Brand to Remain the "Official Hauler of NASCAR"

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 23, 2020) – As the 2020 season rolls into view and the industry prepares to hit the open roads, NASCAR and Mack Trucks announced today a multi-year extension that continues its designation as the "Official Hauler of NASCAR®."

For nearly five-years, NASCAR has logged approximately 450,000 miles annually with Mack trucks, paving the way for successful races at various tracks across North America. In 2018, NASCAR helped Mack unveil its new Mack Anthem® model – the latest addition to its premium line-up and still hauling the NASCAR fleet today – during NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day.

"Our relationship with Mack Trucks continues to deliver a transportation solution that plays an integral role in our success every weekend," said Elton Sawyer, vice president, officiating and technical inspection, NASCAR. "With their partnership, we have developed a customized fleet of NASCAR trucks that has simplified our transportation logistics and in turn, help us remain focused on our events."

Mack Trucks utilizes the partnership to engage customers across the country with a variety of activations across the sport. Most recently, a Mack Anthem wrapped in a custom-designed, military-themed scheme was front and center during last year's NASCAR Salutes Refreshed by Coca-Cola® – an industry-wide expression of respect, appreciation and reverence for those who have served the nation both past and present.

Four different design concepts for the wrap were shared on social media where fans could vote for their favorite scheme. The winning design, which featured all five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, earned nearly 40 percent of the vote.

"Our partnership with NASCAR has provided unique opportunities to showcase our products, services and technology to a wide array of customers," said John Walsh, vice president, marketing, Mack Trucks. "Through the extension of our relationship, we look forward to doing even more with NASCAR to further demonstrate the value we're delivering to our customers' businesses today through industry-leading total transportation solutions."

The popular NASCAR Salutes Mack Anthem paint scheme will return for its third installment in the 2020 season, and once again, fans will be given the opportunity to choose the design for the NASCAR Cup Series rig. Additionally, Mack Trucks will be the presenting sponsor of NASCAR Digital Media's weekly Power Rankings video franchise this year.

Mack Trucks will also continue to serve on the NASCAR Fuel for Business Council, an award-winning business-to-business program, that brings together an exclusive group of nearly 60 NASCAR Official Partners throughout the year to explore potential joint business opportunities. .

NASCAR and Mack Trucks will embark on their fifth season together in February when the fleet of Mack Anthems departs for Daytona International Speedway for the famed DAYTONA 500. The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season will commence Thursday, February 13 with the Bluegreen Vacations Duels at DAYTONA airing on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM at 7 p.m.

Statement from NASCAR Chairman and CEO Jim France on the Passing of Junior Johnson

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (December 20, 2019) – "Junior Johnson truly was the 'Last American Hero.' From his early days running moonshine through the end of his life, Junior wholly embodied the NASCAR spirit. He was an inaugural NASCAR Hall of Famer, a nod to an extraordinary career as both a driver and team owner. Between his on-track accomplishments and his introduction of Winston to the sport, few have contributed to the success of NASCAR as Junior has. The entire NASCAR family is saddened by the loss of a true giant of our sport, and we offer our deepest condolences to Junior's family and friends during this difficult time."

"With respect to the ongoing legal situation, we cannot discuss the details of the case. Mr. Bruno was released within hours of receiving his citation from the police after posting bail. Mr. Bruno entered not-guilty pleas and denies the allegations. We at Devil's Bowl Speedway and King of Dirt Racing trust that the legal process will arrive at the correct outcome and that Mike Bruno will be vindicated. Until the case is resolved, we have been advised not to comment any further regarding this case.

 "In the meantime, Devil's Bowl Speedway and the King of Dirt Racing Crate Modified Series are enthusiastically moving forward with preparations for the 2020 racing season. We are looking forward to honoring our champions, top drivers, and award winners at the Banquet of Champions on January 25, and we expect to release some exciting news about schedules, registration, rules, and more in the coming weeks."

Stewart-Haas Racing Announces 2020 Crew ChiefLineup for NASCAR Cup Series Teams

Stewart-Haas Racing Announces 2020 Crew Chief

Lineup for NASCAR Cup Series Teams

Mike Shiplett Promoted to No. 41 Team Crew Chief;

Mike Bugarewicz Moves to No. 10 Team and John Klausmeier Moves to No. 14 Team;

Rodney Childers Remains with No. 4 Team for Seventh Straight Season

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (Dec. 4, 2019) – Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) has announced the 2020 crew chief lineup for its four NASCAR Cup Series teams.

The most notable change is the promotion of crew chief Mike Shiplett to the No. 41 team. SHR brings Shiplett up from its NASCAR Xfinity Series program where he spent the 2019 season guiding Cole Custer to a career-high seven wins and six poles with a runner-up finish in the championship standings. Shiplett will be paired with Custer again in 2020 as the 21-year-old Custer runs for rookie-of-the year honors

Crew chiefs John Klausmeier and Mike "Buga" Bugarewicz will swap teams, with Klausmeier going to the No. 14 team of Clint Bowyer and Bugarewicz going to the No. 10 team of Aric Almirola.

Klausmeier has been the No. 10 crew chief since 2018, where he and Almirola combined for 29 top-10 finishes, highlighted by a victory on Oct. 14, 2018 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. The duo made the NASCAR Playoffs in each of their two seasons together, with Almirola finishing a career-best fifth in the 2018 championship.

Bugarewicz has led the No. 14 team since 2016, where he was Tony Stewart's crew chief for his last NASCAR season before being paired with Bowyer in 2017. Bugarewicz helped Stewart secure his 49th and final NASCAR Cup Series victory at Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway and continued winning with Bowyer, securing two victories in 2018 – March 26 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway and June 10 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn – as part of a three-year stint that garnered 47 top-10s and two appearances in the NASCAR Playoffs.

Rodney Childers returns as Kevin Harvick's crew chief with the No. 4 team for the seventh straight year. Since joining forces in 2014, Childers and Harvick have combined to produce 26 victories, 25 poles, 106 top-five finishes and 153 top-10s. They have led 9,608 laps and made the Championship 4 five times in the last six years. They won the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series title and have finished runner-up twice, to 2015 champion Kyle Busch and to 2018 champion Joey Logano.

"Our biggest asset at Stewart-Haas Racing is our people, and we strive to put each person in the best position to succeed," said Greg Zipadelli, Vice President of Competition, SHR. "Our driver/crew chief pairings for next season reflect this ideology, and we believe this lineup provides the best opportunity to win every time we unload our Ford Mustangs at the racetrack."
