CHARLOTTE, NC (November 21) – Excitement continues to build as one of the most anticipated short track events of the fall, the 8th Annual Mason Dixon Meltdown, gets set to run this weekend at Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, NC.  The Meltdown will feature a 200 lap event for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models that will determine both the PASS National and PASS South champions.  

PASS National points leader Jay Fogleman leads southern frontrunners Kyle Grissom, Spencer Davis, Jody Measamer, Trevor Noles, John Batten, Tyler Church and others against a formidable group of challengers from New England led by Ben Rowe, Joey Doiron, Joey Polewarczyk, Kyle Desouza, Derek Ramstrom, and Steve Legendre.

An event creating nearly as much buzz as the PASS Super Late Model race will be a 30 lapper for the Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Cars.  It will be the first time winged sprints cars with 410 cubic inch engines have raced on asphalt in North Carolina since 1989.  The Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Cars will make an all-out assault on the overall track record at Southern National Motorsports Park and will feature such open wheel stars as Jimmy McCune, Brian Gerster, Davey Hamilton, Jr., Troy Decaire, Kody Swanson and Brian Tyler.

Additionally, PASS officials announced today the release of the 2014 tentative schedules for the PASS South Super Late Models and PASS Pro Late Models.  The PASS South Super Late Model schedule will be highlighted by the return of the series to two of the South’s most prolific half-mile speedways.  The season will begin February 7-8 and will begin both the PASS South and PASS National seasons by kicking off Florida Speedweeks with the Winter Meltdown at New Smyrna Speedway.  Greenville-Pickens Speedway returns for two events in 2014.  The historic South Carolina track first began hosting stock car events in 1946 and was once a hotbed for Super Late Model racing.  In addition to the season opener, Greenville-Pickens Speedway will once again host the Firecracker 150 on July 3.  That event returns to Greenville-Pickens where it was held from 2008-2010.

PASS South and the PASS National series will once again contest the Easter Bunny 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway on April 19 and will conclude the season on November 22 with Mason Dixon Meltdown at Southern National Motorsports Park.  Since their inceptions in 2006, both the Easter Bunny 150 and the Mason Dixon Meltdown have grown in stature to become two of the premier events in short track racing.  Additionally, two Virginia tracks will join the PASS South Super Late Model family of tracks with both Franklin County Speedway and Lonesome Pine Raceway hosting the series for the first time in 2014.

            “We are very pleased to be able to release our 2014 PASS South Super Late Model schedule at such an early date,” said PASS President Tom Mayberry.  “We’ve had great support from our competitors this year and we hope by releasing our schedule in November that will give them plenty of time to prepare for next year.  We’ve got some great tracks returning to the schedule and we look forward to making lasting relationships at our new venues as well.”

Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, NC will host three PASS South Super Late Models in 2014 on May 31, July 12, and the Mason Dixon Meltdown on November 22.  Hickory Motor Speedway will also host multiple events with the Easter Bunny 150 on April 19 and the Over The Mountain 150 on September 20.

Dillon Motor Speedway will host the 9th Annual South Carolina Clash on March 8.  Orange County Speedway, a favorite of many PASS South Super Late Model competitors, returns for a ninth straight year with the Orange Blossom Special on April 5.  Caraway Speedway will also be back as the PASS South Super Late Models will compete as part of the popular 12th Annual North-South Shootout on date in November still yet to be determined.

South Boston Speedway will host two PASS South events in 2014 on June 7 and August 16.  Fellow Virginia racetracks Franklin County Speedway and Lonesome Pine Raceway will host PASS events for the first time ever in 2014.  Franklin County Speedway has seen a revival this year under veteran racing promoter Langley Austin and will welcome the PASS South Super Late Models to the facility on June 21.  Likewise, the picturesque Lonesome Pine Raceway in Southwest Virginia will see the return of Super Late Models for the first time in more than a decade on August 2.

The PASS Pro Late Models will compete in at least 11 companion events with the PASS South Super Late Models in 2014 with up to two additional dates being added.

Although the 2014 schedule is nearly complete, additional dates could be added in May and on October 18 by December 4.

Look for schedules for the PASS North Super Late Models, PASS Modifieds, and PASS Sportsman to be released in the near future.

Maryeve Dufault to Drive 2014 ARCA Season for Team Stange

 

Forest Park, IL. (November 20, 2013) - - Today, Team Stange announced the signing of Canadian native Maryeve Dufault as their driver for the 2014 ARCA Racing Series season.  Dufault is scheduled to pilot the No. 46 HotTVBrands.com Ford Fusion in all of the scheduled ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards events at tracks nationwide. 

 

“This is a great opportunity for me and a great team that has been formed for 2014 ARCA season,” explained Dufault.  “I am very appreciative of the people that John (Stange) is bringing together for the No. 46 HotTVbrands.com car.  There are some amazing guys that are running this program who bring a lot of knowledge and success to the table.  I’m looking forward to a great season with Team Stange.”

 

Team Stange, which was formed in 2004 by John Stange and his wife Ashely, is preparing for its’ first season in ARCA racing.  Stange purchased the nine-time ARCA championship winning team and equipment of Larry Clement Racing at the end of the 2013 season and started making plans to field his team for 2014.  “2014 is going to be a great year for Team Stange Racing,” said John.  “I have been involved in racing in one way or another my entire life and it is so exciting when you have those times when things come together like they have for Team Stange.  We’re building a strong team and will give Maryeve competitive equipment and hopefully that combination will put the No. 46 at the front of the field.”

 

Dufault brings a strong racing background to the team having competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, ARCA events, NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, F3 and Star Mazda among other race series.    In 2010 Dufault moved her career from open wheel to stock car with events in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.  In early testing of an ARCA car at New Smyrna Speedway, Dufault impressed the Brad Keselowski among others and her stock career began to take hold.  She raced in ARCA events in 2011 and 2012 and also made her NASCAR Nationwide debut in 2011.  Her top ARCA finish to date was 10th at Chicagoland Speedway in 2011.

 

In the integral role of crew chief/consultant for the No. 46, Team Stange has tapped veteran Larry Moore of Palatka, Florida.  Moore is one of the most successful short-track drivers in history with more than 500 race wins and experience at 356 different tracks.  When he hung up his helmet as a racer, he began building a successful reputation as a crew chief/consultant for various ARCA, NASCAR Nationwide Series, CRA and dirt late model teams.  Moore has more than 35 victories as a crew chief and is looking forward to adding to that number in 2014 with Maryeve and Team Stange.

 

Team Stange Racing:  Team Stange was formed in 2004 by John and Ashley Stange of Oak Park, Ill. Their ARCA stock car program began in 2013 when they purchased the nine-time ARCA championship winning

team of Larry Clement Racing. Northerners Hope To Take Home Mason Dixon Meltdown Hardware Once Again

CHARLOTTE, NC (November 18) – As this weekend’s 8th Annual Mason Dixon Meltdown approaches for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models, several teams are already ready to make their way south to North Carolina’s Southern National Motorsports Park. Since the event’s inception in 2006, some of the best PASS North Super Late Model teams from New England have made the trip south to escape the increasingly cold weather in the north and get one more big race in before the season ends. And the northern contingent has fared quite well traditionally, especially in the early years of the Meltdown. In the first four editions, PASS North drivers took the checkered flag led by Ben Rowe, who won at Concord Speedway in 2007 and South Boston Speedway in 2009, while fellow New Englanders Cassius Clark and Johnny Clark took the checkered flag in the other two.
While the south has prevailed in the last three runnings of the Mason Dixon Meltdown, many believe this year’s race at Southern National could see the big money heading back north on I-95. Rowe leads a strong group of fellow New Englanders to this year’s Meltdown which includes Joey Doiron, Kyle Desouza, Derek Ramstrom, Joey Polewarczyk, and Steve Legendre. The All-Time PASS Super Late Model wins leader is quite familiar racing in the south with 8 PASS South wins to his credit and the 2009 PASS South Super Late Model championship. Rowe recently ended a long dry spell with his win in the North-South Shootout at Caraway Speedway and is looking forward to heading back to Southern National Motorsports Park where he took one of his five wins during his championship season.
“I love Kenly, it’s a great racetrack, great for us racers and great for the fans,” said Rowe. “The fans are great to me down here in the south. It make the 16-18 hour trip worthwhile. I learned a lot following Preston Peltier at Kenly in 2009. We followed him for about 50 laps and then came in and flip flopped the right front and right rear tires and passed him with about 10 to go to win the race. Can’t wait to get to Kenly again, it’s fast.”
One northern racer has already taken a trophy from the south back home to New England this year. Maine’s Joey Doiron served notice way back in February that he would not only be a threat for the PASS North title, but that he would also be formidable in the PASS National Championship fight following his win in the Winter Meltdown at Auburndale Speedway. Doiron’s win in Florida propelled him into the 2013 season and saw him go on to win two PASS North Super Late Model races and lead the points much of the season, before falling just four points shy of winning the championship. While this will be Doiron’s first trip to Southern National Motorsports Park, he feels his team has a good chance for the win and possibly overtaking Jay Fogleman for the PASS National Championship. 
“We haven’t really had any great finishes in the south at the high banked, high grip racetracks, but I feel like we’ve made gains and will be in a good position this weekend,” said Doiron, who sits third in points just 40 points behind Fogleman in the race for the PASS National Championship. “However, it will be tough for us since this is the fourth time the PASS South teams have raced at Kenly this season. I still feel the north has the advantage though and hopefully we’ll be able to bring the trophy back north with us like we did in February.”
In addition to seeing the best in stock car racing, fans will have an added attraction that has a definitely created a buzz in racing circles. The Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Cars will tackle Southern National for the first time as part of the Meltdown. It will be the first time 410 Winged Sprint Cars have raced in North Carolina on asphalt in nearly 25 years and many believe the 900 horsepower machines will have a great opportunity to break Southern National’s overall track record.

Action gets under way on Friday, November 22nd at Southern National with practice for all divisions from 2-5 PM. RUTLAND, VT – Devil’s Bowl Speedway will toast top local stock car drivers from the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at its annual Banquet of Champions on Saturday, February 1, 2014.  Among the competitors to be honored on stage are Rookie of the Year winners from each of the track’s four weekly racing classes.  The Banquet of Champions will be at the Holiday Inn Rutland/Killington in Rutland, VT.

Twenty year-old Jamie LaFountain of Keeseville, NY will collect Rookie of the Year honors for his efforts in the headline Bond Auto Parts Modified division.  LaFountain built a consistent record in his first year of racing at Devil’s Bowl, finishing in the Top 10 in nine of his 17 feature starts and taking 12th in the overall championship standings.  He outdistanced Bruce Schwab and Emily Quinn for the freshman crown.

Bristol, VT driver Josh Masterson posted three Late Model victories on his way to the division’s Rookie of the Year crown.  Feature winner Brandon Atkins finished a close second followed by Johnny Scarborough, Seth Bridge, Carol Parker, and Tommy Eriksen, Jr.

Four first-year racers were bunched tightly together in the intermediate Renegade class, with 20 year-old Brad Bushey of Fairfax, VT taking the Rookie of the Year title.  Bushey won twice to beat teenagers Stephen Donahue, Ray Germain, Jr., and Richard Lowrey, III.  Two-time winner Chuck Bradford of Addison, VT ran to the Rookie of the Year crown in the Central Vermont Motorcycles Mini Stock class.  Lacey Hanson, Lance Masterson, Kyle Sorensen, Jason Sabourin, and Scott FitzGerald were next in line.

Separately, Middlebury, VT’s Todd Stone will be honored as the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series National Rookie of the Year presented by Jostens at a ceremony in Charlotte, NC on Friday, December 13.  Though he was not eligible for the weekly Devil’s Bowl rookie program, Stone’s 10-win Modified championship season and his status as a first-year NASCAR license holder allowed him to claim the national honor, beating drivers from more than 50 sanctioned tracks.

Rowe Survives To End Drought With North-South Shootout Win At Caraway

SOHPIA, NC (November 9) – Ben Rowe weaved his way through a multi-car accident with four laps to go while running sixth and led the remaining laps to win Saturday afternoon's Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model North-South Shootout at Caraway Speedway.  Rowe's 8th career PASS South Super Late Model victory ended a winless streak dating back to September, 2012 when he won the PASS 400 at Maine's Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.

            "It was kind of our strategy to back off, but the leaders got out front and we couldn't run with them," said Rowe, the All-Time winningest driver in PASS Super Late Model competition.  "I knew all hell was going to break loose with 10 or 15 laps to go and we just wanted to be in the right position.  I'd rather be lucky than good any day and low and behold we got through the wreck and were leading with just a few laps to go."

            In Friday night's qualifying session, veteran Lee Tissot turned the quick time around the .455 mile speedway with a lap of 99.969 miles per hour.  Following the customary PASS South redraw for the top 10 qualifiers, Tissot would line up fifth for the 150 lap feature while Justin Allison and Rowe would move up front to pace the field.  But all eyes would be on the back of the field where Kyle Grissom and Daniel Hemric would start 21st and 22ndrespectively.  Grissom struggled with an engine issue in qualifying, while Hemric had to start at the rear after missing qualifying due to his racing in Phoenix Friday night in the Truck Series event.

            Under overcast skies Saturday afternoon, Allison led early on, while Grissom and Hemric quickly made their moves up toward the front.  It only took Grissom five laps to make it into the top five.  Hemric proved to be a bit more methodical moving into the top ten by lap 24.

            Several drivers took turns at the front of the field including Allison, Spencer Davis, and Ryan Moore.  The fast qualifier Tissot was in the mix as well taking the lead for the first time on lap 57 from Davis.  Two hard crashes on the frontstretch in the early going took out several top ten contenders including John Batten, Gus Dean, Bill Catania, and rookie Ashley Rogero.

            Points leader Jay Fogleman had a scare when a flat right front tire caused him to stop on the track on lap 92 resulting in the Durham, NC veteran going a lap down.  But, when early leader Moore stopped with a problem of his own 12 laps later, Fogleman got the free pass putting him back on the lead lap and back into contention.

            Tissot would lead the field down on the restart, but spun his tires coming up to speed allowing Grissom to move up front for the first time in the race.  Hemric would soon make his move into second and it looked like the two drivers who started on row 11 would duke it out for the win.  With 22 laps to go, they made contact entering turn one which sent Grissom up the track and Hemric into the lead.  But a rash of late cautions kept the field together in the race's waning laps.

            With four laps to go, both Hemric and Grissom spun their tires coming to the green flag.  As the field entered turn one, it appeared Hemric lost control and spun up the track as the entire field sped in behind him.  In one instant the entire complexion of the race changed drastically as Grissom, Kyle Desouza, Tissot, Allison, Jody Measamer, Randy Gentry, Karl Weber and others were all swept up into the accident.

            Rowe, who was running sixth at the time of the accident, emerged from the carnage with the lead and held on for the final four laps for his first PASS South Super Late Model win since 2011.  Fogleman rebounded to finish second in front of Ted Mickelson, Gentry and Davis.  Rounding out the top ten were Joseph Mursuli, Allison, Weber, Desouza, and Bobby Measmer, Jr.

Next up for the PASS Super Late Models will be the 8th Annual Mason Dixon Meltdown 200 at Southern National Motorsports Park on Saturday, November 23rd.  The Meltdown will be the final PASS event of 2013 and will see champions crowned in the PASS National Series, PASS South, and the PASS Pro Late Models.  It will also feature the 900 HP Must See Racing Xtreme Winged Sprint Cars in their only visit to the Carolinas this year.  For more information please go to ProAllStarsSeries.com.

The shock which will be admitted to the approved ACT shock program is the new KON 30-7499.
Jim Ryan, automotive sales manager for KONI USA said, "KONI has enjoyed a successful relationship with the American Canadian Tour for over a decade. We were happy to enter a discussion on how we might be able to help racers from both the weekly affiliate tracks and the two touring series. The mission was to provide a shock that would in effect 'tie down' the front end of the race car while keeping within the ACT cost conscience business model. After a testing session last month, we were all very happy with the results, and KONI will begin the manufacturing process immediately."
Two-time Thunder Road Champion Nick Sweet was asked to do the testing on the proposed KONI shock option. He said "I know ACT has been trying to keep our costs down, but racers are always trying to 'get an edge'. We have restrictive 8" tires, crate engines, and KONI shocks that have done a great job for many years. It probably was time to try and upgrade the technology, and this new KONI option should do the trick.
The ACT Director of Competition, Dean Gallison conducted the test and reported, "The challenge for ACT always comes back to cost. We have the responsibility of making Late Model racing affordable for the many weekly racers in the ACT region, as well as the two touring series we operate. I thought the 'tie down' shock KONI built for us was exactly what we need to give every team an affordable way to compete with the demand for a more sophisticated race car."
Sweet continued, "The shock KONI provided gave the car a lot of 'attitude'. It was not a lot faster, but it sure got into and out of corners and seemed to stabilize the car. I now know what guys like about the feel of the front end hugging the race track. I think all ACT teams are going to like this option change."
The shock will be exactly like the present KONI shocks mandated in ACT racing. Cost will remain comparable and approved ACT suppliers will be informed that inventory should become available toward the end of February or beginning of March in time for the opening event of the 2014 season to be held at the Lee USA Speedway on Sunday, April 13, 2014.

62- Christopher Daigle de Neuville en Procam Super Truck propulsée par Carbopoxy® de Techniseal®.Le jeune pilote de 21 ans a récemment fait l’acquisition du camion 88 de Dave Trevors. Il connait bien ce camion puisqu’il l’a piloté à quelques reprises en 2012.

 

A vrai dire, Christopher en avait surpris plus d’un, à ses débuts dans la série.

Il à terminer en deuxième position à sa toute première sortie à Vallée Jonction, et il avait aussi animé le spectacle lors de l’épreuve à Icar, en livrant une bagarre intense et très propre avec Kara Guénette. Christopher à choisi le numéro 62, lui qui portait ce même numéro en Sportsman.

Avec ce qu’il nous a démontré l’an passé, avec l’aide et les conseils de son père Mario, nous pouvons tout de suite placer son nom dans la catégorie des ‘’contender’’ au titre de Champion pour 2014.

Une série en santé

Depuis la fin de la saison, ce n’est pas moins de 7 camions qui ont changé de main, dont 5 nouveaux pilotes qui entrent dans la série. Il ne reste que peu de camion à vendre dans la série.

Ont peut donc s’attendre à plus de 30 pilotes qui seront inscrits pour la saison 2014 de la Série Procam Super Truck propulsée par Carbopoxy® de Techniseal®.

Thunder Road Announces 2014 Schedule

Barre, VT – Thunder Road International Speedbowl has released its 2014 stock car racing schedule. The schedule features 18 events from the end of April through the beginning of October, as is tradition at the “Nation’s Site of Excitement.” The biggest change for 2014 is the switch from Sunday “Twilight” events in early June to the return of the traditional June Thursday night events.

The season will kick off with the 16th Annual Merchants Bank 150 on the weekend of Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27. The Merchants Bank event will be the only American Canadian Tour races at the ¼-mile in 2014.

The 52nd Annual Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic will be on Sunday, May 25. This event will be the first of the 2014 Vermont State Championship events. The season will be highlighted by big Thursday nights. The Governor’s Cup 150, the second of Thunder Road’s VT State Championship events, will be on June 26 with the Northfield Savings Bank Holiday Fireworks night the following week on July 3.

The annual Times Argus Mid-Season Championship will offer double points and double action on Thursday, July 17. August will begin with the “People’s Race,” the 30th Annual M&M Beverage Enduro 200 on Sunday, August 3. August will close with the 36th Annual Labor Day Classic 200 on Sunday, August 31, which will determine the 2014 Thunder Road Late Model “King of the Road.”

The 54th season of stock car racing at Thunder Road will come to a close with the 52nd running of the People’s United Bank Milk Bowl on the weekend of October 4/5. Bond Auto Tiger Sportsmen and Allen Lumber Street Stocks will crown their Champions on Milk Bowl weekend.

Rules for all four Thunder Road divisions and more details on the 2014 schedule will be released in the coming weeks.

29- Le pilote de St-Denis sur Richelieu travail a vu sa

saison prendre fin plus rapidement que prévu.

En effet, la tragédie de Lac Mégantic l’a emmené à quitter son foyer pour aller donner un coup de main au sinistrés.

 

La saison 2014 s’annonce autrement pour lui puisqu’il a mis la main sur l’excellent camion de Jean Duchesneau.  Au dire de Voghel : L’occasion était trop bonne et malgré que je possède déjà un camion je souhaitais faire l’achat de ce camion lorsque M.Duchesneau l’a mis en vente. De plus grâce à l’ajout de deux importants partenaires, Entreprise Jallex et RSR Environnement, j’anticipe une très bonne saison.

Harvey sera de retour dans la série Procam Super Truck propulsée par Carbopoxy® de Techniseal®. Il est présentement a la recherche de partenaires. Nul doute que le pilote du camion 77 sera en mesure d’offrir une belle visibilité a ses futurs partenaires. Sa fin de saison laisse présager un bel avenir à ce sympathique pilote de Terrebonne.

PROCAM SUPER TRUCK: La Compétition sera forte !

La Compétition sera forte !

 

Un autre jeune et talentueux pilote se joint à la série.

En effet Marc-Antoine Demers et l’équipe de course Joly Sab ont décidé de joindre les rangs de la série la plus diversifiés au Québec. Le jeune pilote de 22 ans a terminé au 4e rang du Classement sportsman de L’Autodrome St-Eustache. Il est très bien entourer et bien coacher, les membres de son équipe ont une idée claire du cheminement futur de leur jeune pilote. Le pilote de Le Gardeur sera en onde ce lundi 17 :20 au 103.5 FM afin de  faire connaitre ses nouveaux projets à ses fans.

 

Cette semaine la Série Procam Super Truck propulsée par Carbopoxy® de Techniseal® était fier d’annoncer la venue d’un nouveau duo de proprio/pilote.

Rejean Blanchet est devenu le propriétaire d’un camion qui portera le numéro 7 et qui sera piloté par le pilote bien connu, Simon Roussin.

 

Et bien la Série n’en est pas à ses dernières annonces puisque le téléphone ne dérougit pas.

 

Deux nouvelles équipes de qualité s’ajoutent, la Série Procam Super Truck propulsée par Carbopoxy® de Techniseal® leurs souhaite la bienvenue dans cette série très compétitive.

Seulement quelques points séparaient les 3 premiers au classement à la fin du championnat et soyez assuré que le championnat 2014 sera des plus relevé.

SOUTH PLATTSBURGH – Airborne Park Speedway held its 2013 awards banquet over the weekend and announced it will be part of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series in 2014.

 

Airborne’s affiliation with NASCAR increases the number of sanctioned weekly short tracks in New York state to five. Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven, VT, which features dirt-style Modifieds like Airborne, is also a NASCAR member.

 

NASCAR’s return to Airborne completes a full circle for us,” promoter Mike Perrotte said. “We’ve been considering joining NASCAR for a couple of years. We have one of the most exciting asphalt tracks in the northeast. We’re finally in a position to join the NASCAR Whelen All-Amercan Series.

 

The Whelen All-American Series is NASCAR’s national championship program for weekly short track auto racing. More than 50 paved and dirt tracks throughout the United States and Canada participate.

 

Todd Stone of Middlebury, Vt., the 2013 Airborne Ernie’s Tools Modified champion, won the 2013 national NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Rookie of the Year Award as well as the Devil’s Bowl championship. Other drivers honored as Airborne champions at the banquet were three Plattsburgh racers – Nick Heywood/Sportsman Modified, Robin Wood/Limited Late Model and Jayson Criss/Mini Modified. Lance Rabtoy of Fairfax, Vt. was the Renegade champion.

 

“Most Improved” awards were presented to Maxime Viens/Modifieds, Sportsman Codie Aubin, Limited Late Model Danny Sullivan, Renegade Ryan Boutin and Mini Modified Dale O’Neil. Rookie of the Year honors went to Keith Pelkey of Clintonville/Sportsman, Josh LeClaire of Plattsburgh/Renegade, Dylan Payea of Milton, Vt./Limited Late Model and Kaine Favro of Saranac Lake/Mini Modified.

 

Kurt Giventer, a.k.a. “Metal Man received the Airborne Sportsman of the Year award. Ed Nephew was presented the Mike Watts Officials Award.
