One driver hoping to end Rowe's run of national championship success will be Hudson, NH's Derek Griffith.  In his first go at Super Late Model racing's only national championship last year, Griffith finished third in points behind Rowe and Dave Farrington, Jr., nearly winning at Orange County Speedway last March.

"It's going to be pretty important to get going on the right foot this season," says Griffith, driver of the LCM Motorsports #12 Chevrolet.  "We are looking to run real strong all year."

After scoring two wins in 2017 on the PASS North Super Late Model tour, Griffith is primed to show what he can do south of the Mason-Dixon line this year.  In his first start at Dillon last year, Griffith finished eighth and hopes to improve on that this weekend.

"Last year was our first time racing down in the Carolinas," says Griffith.  "Now that we've been down there [Dillon] once, I'm looking forward to making my return this weekend."

Joining Griffith among the pre-entries will be PASS South title contenders Matt Craig, Kodie Conner, Tate Fogleman, Roy Hayes, and Jody Measamer.  Trevor Sanborn heads the list of New Englanders, along with newcomers Jimmy Renfrew, Jr., Sammy Gooden, and Ray Christian, III, while Charles Barnes will be attempting his second PASS South start.

CAMIRAND TO DRIVE THE NEW 2018 CHEVROLET CAMARO IN THE NASCAR PINTYS SERIES

CAMIRAND TO DRIVE THE NEW 2018 CHEVROLET CAMARO IN THE NASCAR PINTYS SERIES

PRESS RELEASE
For immediate release

CAMIRAND TO DRIVE THE NEW CHEVROLET CAMARO IN THE 2018 NASCAR PINTYS SERIES

Berthierville, February 19, 2018 – The Chevrolet Camaro is back in NASCAR. While the car made its debut in the top-tier division, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, as well as other touring series, the new Camaro will be introduced in the NASCAR Pinty's series next May.

Paillé, #1 GM dealer in Canada, played a lead role to bring back the Camaro in the Canadian division of NASCAR, as his driver Marc-Antoine Camirand will try to capture the championship in the mythic car that celebrated his 50th anniversary last year.

"It was natural for us to showcase Chevrolet's muscle car in Canada's most prestigious stock-car series. We wanted to introduce the Camaro in the NASCAR Pinty's series to have on track a Chevrolet rear-wheel-drive V8 with manual transmission," commented GM Paillé CEO, Jean-Claude Paillé,

GM Paillé's team met with Chevrolet Canada during the NASCAR Pinty's race at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, located a few miles from General Motors facilities in Oshawa, ON. 22 Racing team, that prepares n°22 car driven by Marc-Antoine Camirand, developed a new body that replicates Chevrolet's mythic performance car.

"As soon as we had the approval from Chevrolet Canada, R&D started at 22 Racing shop to introduce the new body in the NASCAR Pinty's series for the 2018 season. Scott Steckly's team has worked on the car since last fall," told Mr. Paillé.

Driver Marc-Antoine Camirand, who will compete full-time in the NASCAR Pinty's series in 2018, is excited to be at the wheel of the new n°22 Camaro, thanks to the most important GM dealer in Canada. "I've always said how proud I am to work with such passionate and professional partner and team as GM Paillé and 22 Racing. The introduction of the Camaro shows again how serious these people around me are about racing. I'm highly motivated to give them my first win and fight for the championship," said Camirand.

While the Camaro made an astonishing come back in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup, winning the 2018 Daytona 500 with Richard Childress Racing n°3 car driven by Austin Dillon, it will be on track in the NASCAR Pinty's series in May, for the season opener at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, in Bowmanville, ON.

MOTHERS RETURNS AS PRESENTING SPONSOR OF TORONTO MOTORAMA SHOW

MOTHERS RETURNS AS PRESENTING
SPONSOR OF TORONTO MOTORAMA SHOW

March 9, 10 & 11, 2018 at Toronto's International Centre

TORONTO, ON // FEBRUARY 16, 2018 • This year's Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo Presented by Mothers marks the third year in a row that Mothers Car Care Products has been the event's most prominent partner. The show takes place March 9, 10 & 11 at Toronto's International Centre.

Motorama is a three-day celebration of cars and racing that brings together an impressive and exciting collection of hot rods, classic and custom cars, tuners, modifieds, rat rods and street rods. As always, motorsports will be a huge part of the show, with racing vehicles of all kinds featured throughout the 300,000-plus square-foot facility.

In short, it's a perfect venue for Mothers to showcase its impressive product line to over 30,000 automotive and racing enthusiasts who are also passionate about their own vehicles.

World renowned as a leading developer and supplier of automotive car care products, Mothers made its Motorama debut in 2015 – as an exhibitor and prize supplier – before becoming the show's presenting sponsor in 2016.

"Since the 1970s, Mothers has been a huge supporter of the custom car and classic car hobby," said Mothers' Cliff Waller. "A show such as Motorama brings together the hard-core hot rodders, tuners, class car and racing people. These are our customers. At Mothers, we cater to the enthusiast; these are the people we want in front of us. And these are the people who will be walking through the doors at Motorama."

It's been a long-running tradition, within the Mothers Car Care organization, to support and 'give back' to the hobby.

Perpetuating this practice, the California-based company will continue to present highly-coveted Mothers Gift Buckets – each filled with more than $250 in Mtech car care products – to show award winners. The Mtech line of products (Synthetic Wax, Wash & Wax, Instant Detailer, Interior Detailer and All-In-One Leather Care) was created in conjunction with Canadian Tire; the sole retailer of the Mtech product line in Canada.

Although Mothers' products are only available through licensed suppliers and will not be for sale at the show, Motoramashowgoers visiting the Mothers Car Care Products booth will have the opportunity to view the full line of Mothers Car Care products, and can speak to the staff on hand. These individuals are trained Mothers representatives who will answer questions and offer advice and solutions to those who are interested in learning about products and procedures to keep their vehicles in top condition.

Continued Waller, "Our customers are the people who have built Mothers and it's our responsibility and challenge to satisfy their needs. The Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo Presented by Mothers gives us the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow car enthusiasts – to talk about our products or to just talk about our cars."

Reflecting on Mothers' participation at the show, Motorama's David Weber said, "We are extremely honoured that Mothers Car Care Products is returning for a third year as the show's presenting sponsor and most prominent partner. This will be their fourth year giving Mothers Gift Buckets to the award winners, and the third year that the Mothers name has been part of the show's title.

"We know car owners love Mothers' products and appreciate them supporting the show and the hobby the way they do. It's a pleasure working with Cliff Waller and Mothers and we encourage everyone to visit the Mothers booth and check out their products while at Motorama."

ABOUT MOTHERS CAR CARE PRODUCTS: Started over 50 years ago in Southern California, Mothers has grown from humble beginnings into the premiere developer and supplier of automotive car care products in the world. Catering to the high-end, custom and exotic car enthusiast, Mothers has a product line of 70 unique cleaners, polishes and waxes available to the demanding car owner, as well as to the professional detailer. Qualifiers For 2018 “Roads To Oxford And Richmond” Program Announced

Qualifiers For 2018 "Roads To Oxford And Richmond" Program Announced

NAPLES, ME (February 16) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) President Tom Mayberry announced today the expansion of the newly named "Roads To Oxford And Richmond" program in 2018.  Now in its fifth year, the groundbreaking "Roads To Oxford And Richmond" concept will expand to give racers across the continent the chance to compete in short track asphalt racing's biggest events.  Competitors from both the United States and Canada will have the opportunity to race for guaranteed starting spots, while keeping focused on the 45th Annual Oxford 250 and the inaugural Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway throughout the season.

The 2017 Oxford 250 saw droves of race fans from across North America and over 60 Super Late Models make the trek to Oxford Plains Speedway in Maine, as the venerable race continues to be one of the biggest short track events in the world.  And beginning this year, racers across several short track disciplines will have the opportunity to race at the Richmond Raceway in Virginia as part of the inaugural Commonwealth Classic in October.

"The Oxford 250 is continuing the tradition as one of the premier events in all of short track racing and with the addition of Richmond, PASS racers will have the chance to compete in two of the biggest events in North America," said Mayberry.  "The 'Roads To Oxford And Richmond' will be bigger than ever in 2018.  We will be able to keep the 250 and Richmond in focus throughout the year and give competitors at several venues the chance to get locked in."

This year's program will see the winners of four select races in the United States and Canada get a guaranteed starting position at full start money for the Oxford 250 or at Richmond.  The remaining top five finishers in each of these events will be guaranteed a starting position for the Oxford 250 or Richmond at half start money.

The first event to be featured will be the famed Easter Bunny 150 at North Carolina's Hickory Motor Speedway on March 31.  The "Roads" then continue to an international event in the Canadian province of New Brunswick, with the series' first trip to Petty International Raceway on June 2.  Then, a special Tuesday night 200 lapper paying $5,000 to win on July 3, will be held at Spud Speedway in Caribou, ME.  The final race as part of the "Roads To Oxford And Richmond" will be on Sunday, July 29 at Oxford Plains Speedway.

Additionally, the top licensed drivers in points from PASS North, PASS South, and the PASS National Championship Series, will have provisionals available, if needed, as long as they have attempted to qualify for every race in their chosen series.  All drivers that will have guaranteed spots through the "Roads To Oxford And Richmond" or via championship points provisionals have to compete in their heat races, qualifying, or in their consolation races, but will not have to compete in the last chances race if they have not already advanced.  A full schedule of events and support divisions for the 45th Annual Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway and the inaugural Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway will be announced in the near future.

For media or marketing questions please contact Alan Dietz at alandietzpass@live.com or 704-231-2039.  More details will be announced soon and can be found at oxfordplains.com, RichmondRaceway.com, and ProAllStarsSeries.com.

We didn't win the Championship, but we got the Big Gator for winning five grand," Smiled the 33-year-old driver of the #8 Longhorn Chassis entry. "We've been surrounded by Elite cars are week long. But we never gave up. These guys are just so good, but the results showed how good we are too. It takes some long hours to do this. It's nice though to put this Longhorn ahead of all those Elites, especially tonight." Added the driver originally from Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. For the week, Strickler won, finished second and third twice each.

For Hoffman, the 25-year-old driver who is originally from Belleville, IL, the driver of the #2 Elite Chassis entry would become the first driver in DIRTcar Nationals history to win three championships in the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds. "Man, this is so awesome. To win a Big Gator is pretty special no matter how many times you do it. These are so hard to come by and to do this three years in a row says a lot about this car and this team. There's so many people that make this happen and I truly can't thank everyone enough." Through the week, Hoffman recorded three wins as well as two seconds and a third to win the DIRTcar Nationals title by 13 points (458-443) over Strickler.

NASCAR Xfinity Series star, Justin Allgaier and Zeke McKenzie brought the stellar 28-car field to Chief Starter, Dave Farney's green flag. It would be McKenzie shooting out to the early lead while Allgaier and the rest of the pack scrambled for position. McKenzie would extend his lead early in the event as Nick Hoffman, who started eighth, quickly worked his way into the top five by following fellow fourth row starter, Kyle Strickler, who started seventh. By Halfway, Strickler and Hoffman were second and third and slowly reeling in the race long leader, McKenzie.

On lap 16, Strickler was able to slip past McKenzie to take over the top spot as Hoffman also followed him through to grab second. The two drivers who both now call Mooresville, NC home, pulled away from the rest of the field and began slicing through lapped traffic while in the midst of their battle for the $5,000 payday. Strickler would lose Hoffman in traffic, but Hoffman was able to get through it to set up a late battle with Strickler. As the laps clicked off, both drivers got away from everyone, but it would be Strickler who would fight off a late charge from Hoffman to secure his second Gator of the week, his fourth career win at Volusia Speedway Park and first Big Gator trophy.

Hoffman settled for second but would officially clinch his third consecutive DIRTcar Nationals title. Will Krup rounded out the podium finishers in third. Two-time Gator winner this week, Tyler Nicely finished fourth as Allgaier completed the top five. Ryan Ayers scored his best finish of the week in sixth as Mark Whitener, two-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion, Matt Crafton, opening night winner, David Stremme and Jason Beaulieu rounded out the top-10.

The DIRTcar Late Models continue Late Model week on Tuesday, February 13th before the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series finish out the week over the last four nights from February 14-17th. The Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds take over for the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds and begin their stretch of five nights of racing also on Tuesday, February 13th and will also close out the 47th Annual DIRTcar Nationals.
