EBAY MOTORS TO BE THE PRIMARY SPONSOR OF THE TORONTO MOTORAMA SHOW THROUGH 2024

EBAY MOTORS TO BE THE PRIMARY SPONSOR OF
THE TORONTO MOTORAMA SHOW THROUGH 2024

eBay Motors Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo set for March 10, 11 & 12, 2023

TORONTO, ON // NOVEMBER 16, 2022 • The promoters of the Toronto Motorama show are pleased to announce an expanded, multi-year agreement that will see eBay Motors serve as the primary sponsor of Canada's largest indoor auto-enthusiast and racing show through 2024. Effective immediately, the three-day event will be known as the eBay Motors Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo.

At the most recent Motorama show, this past April, eBay Motors came on board as the presenting sponsor. The relationship was a 'perfect fit,' and the show – which returned after a two-year pandemic-induced hiatus – was a great success.

The 8th annual edition of the long-running show – which has existed under several names since 1974 at the same venue – takes place March 10, 11 & 12, 2023 at The International Centre, across from Toronto's Pearson Airport.

"We are thrilled to extend our sponsorship of Motorama – it's a perfect venue to connect with automotive enthusiasts from across Canada and share how eBay Motors can help fuel their passion by delivering trusted parts for every vehicle need," said Ryan Baltjes, Head of Parts and Accessories, eBay Canada.

"Last year, we created buzz with two unique builds, a '34 Ford and '56 Chevy, and heard directly from attendees about how we can continue to support a great buying and selling experience on the marketplace. We look forward to continuing the excitement and conversation in March and throughout the years ahead."

Owners of custom and classic cars – and many in the racing community – view eBay Motors as an invaluable one-stop shop, offering easy access to a vast range of parts inventories at the right prices. The popular and easy-to-navigate site, with the My Garage custom shopping feature, connects buyers with top-rated sellers from across Canada – and globally – to find new, used, hard-to-find and one-of-a-kind parts, all in one place. Buyers also appreciate the confidence of worry-free buying, thanks to the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

Welcoming eBay Motors back, with an expanded profile and capacity, Motorama's David Weber discussed the synergies between the two parties, "We know that our showgoers are passionate about their vehicles and take an active role in maintaining and improving them. Having eBay Motors as our primary sponsor and a high-profile exhibitor is an outstanding 'fit' that will benefit the automotive and racing communities who are the core of Motorama."

In addition to its primary sponsorship role, eBay Motors will also return with a large exhibitor display. It will once again be staffed by knowledgeable representatives, there to educate showgoers about how to effectively use eBay as a trusted destination for all their needs, when buying or selling parts and accessories for their vehicles.

Visitors to the eBay Motors booth will encounter an interactive display featuring vehicles that have been restored using eBay parts. eBay brand ambassadors will also be on hand to advise showgoers how to effectively and safely buy and sell products, using eBay Motors. As well, eBay staff and ambassadors will be giving away eBay Motors swag throughout the show.

"These days, with high inflation and supply chain issues, eBay Motors can be even more helpful saving people money and getting them the parts they need quicker than they otherwise would. And from our perspective, the eBay Motors partnership helps us to continue to grow and promote the show to more automotive and racing enthusiasts."

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – (Nov. 10, 2022) – NASCAR will kick off its 75th anniversary celebrations at the start of the new year with a vibrant display in the 2023 Rose Parade® presented by Honda, highlighting the thrills of racing in full bloom.

The parade, part of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses® which also features the famed college football Rose Bowl Game®, will be held Monday, Jan. 2. Hundreds of entries will process down the 5.5-mile route, including NASCAR's display, showcasing the 75th anniversary and the upcoming Busch Light Clash at the LA Coliseum. The float is titled 'Always Forward' – a nod to the theme of the 2023 parade 'Turning the Corner.'

"We're beyond thrilled to be participating in such an incredible spectacle as the Rose Parade," said NASCAR Vice President of Marketing Services Patrick Rogers. "There's truly no better way to enter NASCAR's 75th year than by celebrating at an event that brings people together through immense creativity and color. With a theme that so closely resembles the growth of our sport and organization, I can't wait to see our float come to life in the new year."

As per tradition, floats in the Rose Parade are entirely decorated with natural elements such as florals, seeds, fresh leaves, nuts, spices and other herbage. Each float requires tens of thousands of floral and non-floral materials to decorate fully.

NASCAR's float design features the renowned entrance of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with the Olympic Caldron atop the Peristyle, with speedy stock cars racing around a track surrounded by checkered flags, ribbons, palm trees and more, headed by the diamond logo to signify the start NASCAR's 75th year. The float stands 25 feet tall, from the base to the top of the flame, and 55 feet in length.

The Coliseum façade will be decorated with light and dark sesame seeds while the caldron will be coated in Green Tea leaf, with warmly hued carnation petals as the flame. The cars, track, ribbons and checkered flags will be adorned with elements such as red cranberry seed, black seaweed, rice, orange lentils, poppy seeds, blue statice and ground green split pea.

The NASCAR 75 diamond logo will be made up of various seeds and decorated with yellow strawflower, red carnation and blue statice, representing those three famous colors in the NASCAR bar mark. All of the float's design elements will sit atop a base of hot pink, orange and red roses with sprinkles of blue florals throughout.

Finally, a portion of the float will bring to life philanthropic efforts in California highlighted by a NASCAR-themed license plate in partnership with the California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA), with proceeds benefitting Expo Park, parks in the Fontana, Calif. area and the NASCAR Foundation. More information can be found at www.nascarplates.com.

NASCAR will partner with Artistic Entertainment Services (AES), an official float builder and partner of the Tournament of Roses.

The annual Rose Parade celebrates 134 years of success with its upcoming celebration on Jan. 2, led by the volunteer-driven, non-profit Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. In addition to participating in the 2023 parade, NASCAR will also be providing the Tournament's 935 volunteers with a special Busch Light Clash and Auto Club Speedway ticket offer, in recognition of their dedication to America's New Year Celebration®

In ringing in 2023, NASCAR enters its diamond year as the organization celebrates 75 years of history and passion for racing. The Rose Parade kickstarts the anniversary festivities which continue with the Busch Light Clash at the LA Coliseum, and on throughout the rest of the year.

The Busch Light Clash at the LA Coliseum will be held on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, as a part of the destination's "Coliseum Forever" celebration to honor the historic stadium's centennial anniversary and will air live on FOX at 8 p.m. ET. After an action-packed 2022 season, the 2023 NASCAR season-opener is bound to be another thrilling event in a momentous year.

KYLE BUSCH : Great To Be 'Back'

KYLE BUSCH

Great To Be 'Back'

HUNTERSVILLE, North Carolina (Oct. 18, 2022) – There are many reasons why Kyle Busch is looking forward to getting "back" to Homestead-Miami Speedway for Sunday's 400-miler.

Busch, driver of the No. 18 SKITTLES Lime is Back Toyota Camry TRD for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR), returns to South Florida filled with great memories at the 1.5-mile oval, where he has a pair of very special race wins that earned him the title of NASCAR Cup Series Champion in both 2015 and 2019.

Not only has Busch enjoyed plenty of success of intermediate tracks, in general, he's been in the thick of several Cup Series championship battles at Homestead. He was one of the final four playoff drivers each of the last five seasons the championship race was held at Homestead until it was moved to Phoenix Raceway in 2020. Busch brought home the aforementioned titles in 2015 and 2019 at Homestead, and was the runner-up in 2017. His worst finish in his five-year Championship 4 run at Homestead was sixth place in the 2016 race.

With two wins and four top-five finishes at Homestead over the past seven seasons, Busch has become a strong contender at the variable-banked oval. But the SKITTLES Lime is Back driver hasn't always been so strong on his visits to Homestead. His first seven starts there netted just one top-10 finish and only one other top-20. But starting with a fourth-place run there in 2012, Busch has reeled off five top-five finishes and nine top-10s in his last 10 starts at Homestead, topped of course by his impressive championship-clinching runs in 2015 and 2019, forever to be fond memories for the Las Vegas native.

With Skittles back on board Busch's No. 18 Toyota Camry TRD this weekend, the brand will use the opportunity to highlight the return of its Lime flavor due to fan demand after an eight-year hiatus. Race fans can grab packs of Skittles featuring the reinstated Lime flavor at retailers across the country, and enjoy them while following this weekend's racing action in South Florida.

As Busch heads to Homestead for Sunday's 400-mile event, the SKITTLES Lime is Back driver may not have that familiar championship-race pressure to deal with, but he's most certainly aiming to bring home his third Cup Series win at a place that has provided so many great memories over the years.

KYLE BUSCH, Driver of the No. 18 SKITTLES Lime is Back Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing:

Safe to say returning to Homestead brings back great memories for you?

"For sure. Obviously, any time you go back to a place where we got to celebrate not one, but two championships, those are great memories I will have, and my family will have, forever. It's also just a fun place to race. I don't think there's any driver who doesn't get excited to race there, you just have some many options on where to run. We've been very good there the last 10 races or so and hoping we can get our SKITTLES Lime is Back Camry TRD back to victory lane there. Would be special to get one more win with JGR and with Mars before we close the season out together."

From your experience, how has Homestead changed over the last several years?

"The track seems to have aged a little more in recent years, for sure. Definitely a lot of grip for the first few laps, and then it really tapers off, and then everybody is running up next to the fence. I think that's what we saw in years past. As it got darker in the November races, the track seemed to widen out. It's just during the day, when it's hot out and it's slick out, that the best you can do is run right next to the wall, so expecting some of that this weekend with it being a little bit earlier in the fall. It's definitely still a racey joint, but track temperatures are very conducive to that. It was definitely different racing there the last couple of years and not having it be for a championship, but it's always going to be a place where it would be nice to get our SKITTTLES Lime is Back Toyota Camry TRD to victory lane."

Has Homestead always been a fun track for you?

"Homestead is a fun racetrack, for sure. I didn't run well there early in my career, but we were able to really step up our performance and we had some big wins there to show for it. It's really challenging because of the way the race changes from the beginning to the end, and the way things change from the beginning to the end of your runs. You run the bottom, then you go to the top. You're always moving around. You're always thinking."

International Drivers to Compete in eNASCAR International Series’ Five-Race Schedule

Virtual Daytona race to be livestreamed at ADAC SimRacing Expo in Nuremberg, Germany

Daytona Beach, FL (October 11, 2022) - The eNASCAR International iRacing Series returns with a five-race schedule, including a virtual race livestreamed at the ADAC SimRacing Expo in Nuremberg, Germany on December 6. D-BOX Technologies and Digital Motorsports continue as series partners with drivers across the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, NASCAR Mexico Series, NASCAR Pinty's Series and NASCAR Driver for Diversity Driver Development program all scheduled to compete.

After a spring season that saw NASCAR Euro Series driver Alon Day atop the point standings, the DBOX eNASCAR International iRacing Series presented by Digital Motorsports will feature several new tracks in a five-race stand to close out the 2022 season. Drivers will visit virtual tracks in the United States, Canada and Belgium, beginning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Tuesday, November 15. Competition will take place through iRacing.com, the official simulation partner of NASCAR, which provides one of the top online racing simulation portals and features officially-sanctioned, laser-scanned replicas of race tracks around the world.

"We continue to grow our international presence through racing series around the globe," said Chad Seigler, Vice President of International Business Development and Partnerships. "With the support of DBOX and Digital Motorsports, we're able to extend our reach with the eNASCAR International iRacing Series, providing up-and-coming talent with the opportunity to further hone their skills and make a name for themselves as they rise through racing's ranks."

For the first time, the DBOX eNASCAR International iRacing Series presented by Digital Motorsports will livestream a virtual race in-person at the ADAC SimRacing Expo in Germany. The Daytona International Speedway race will close out the expo on Sunday, December 4 at 9 a.m. ET with registrants able to watch live at the event.

The field will once again have a mix of drivers from the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, NASCAR Mexico Series, NASCAR Pinty's Series, and select drivers from NASCAR's 2022 Drive for Diversity class.

"Competing in the eNASCAR International iRacing Series is good experience to practice driving these tracks that were unfamiliar to me prior to the series," said Treyten Lapcevich, NASCAR Pinty's Series driver. "Circuit Zolder is one in particular that I likely would have never tried had it not been for the series. I do believe it's helped me progress in real life as well. As someone with minimal road racing experience, the level of competition in the series has forced me to continue practicing road courses and improving in the sim, and those improvements translate to real life racing."

Events will be livestreamed on eNASCAR.com/live and on the EuroNASCAR YouTube Channel at 6 p.m. EST for a worldwide audience with the event at Daytona International Superspeedway featured at 9 a.m. ET.
