Parker Traves Sweeps Peterborough Speedway Canadian Legend Features

Trailers Plus Canadian Legend Car Series racer Parker Traves has found the fast way around Peterborough Speedway. 

 

After having events earlier in the year plagued by inclement weather, the Saturday, August 19th Legends' racing date at Canada's Toughest 3rd Mile Oval kicked-off with a 25-lap feature that had been held over from July 8th. Jordan Latimer and Mark Griffin brought the 16-car starting field to the green flag, with Latimer taking the early race lead. 

 

As drivers throughout the starting field worked through traffic to find their rhythm, Parker Traves – who had started inside the 2nd row – moved into the lead with 8 laps complete. Dawson Drimmie – who took the initial green flag alongside Traves – slid into the runner-up position, dropping Latimer back to 3rd.  

 

A yellow flag just past the halfway mark slowed the pace but couldn't keep Traves from taking control of the event. Drimmie, Adam Cuthbertson, Matt Haufe and Latimer rounded-out the top-5 finishing positions. Josh Inglis, Nick Portt, Matt Boyes, Griffin, Glenn Morris, Keaton Pipe, Sean Walker, Anthony Einarson, Caleb Drimmie, Mitch Wright and Amber Wallis completed the finishing order. 

 

Canadian Legend Car (July 8th) notes: Parker Traves had an extra $500 added to his race winning pay envelope through a bonus by long-time Legends Racing supporter Stan Morrow. Dawson Drimmie received an additional $300 for his runner-up finish, with Adam Cuthbertson collecting a $200 bonus for his 3rd place showing…Matt Haufe elected to start at the rear of the field in a quest for the Skelton Truck Lines 'Trucking to the Front' $600 bonus. His 4th place effort meant the cash rolled-over to $700 for the nightcap. Haufe collected a $200 bonus as the race's hard charger.  

 

The Trailers Plus Canadian Legend Car Series returned to wrap-up the night's action with a 25-lap feature that saw Josh Inglis and Matt Haufe on the front row. Adam Cuthbertson took the early lead, with Haufe taking the spot away with an inside line pass with only 2 laps complete. A yellow flag for an issue on the backstretch with about 10 laps complete brought the pack together and opened the door for Parker Traves – who had started outside the 2nd row – to take the lead on the restart, with Dawson Drimmie, Nick Portt, Jordan Latimer and Jade Franklin joining the leader in a 5 car breakaway.  

 

Drimmie got close the Traves in the late stages but ran out of time to make the pass. Matt Boyes, Josh Inglis, Mark Griffin, Mitch Wright, Matt Haufe, Zach Latimer, Glenn Morris, Caleb Drimmie, Andrew McFadden, Keaton Pipe, Sean Walker, Adam Cuthbertson, Anthony Einarson and Amber Wallis rounded-out the finishing order. 

 

Canadian Legend Car (August 19th) notes: Parker Traves had a pair of qualifying heat race wins, with the others going to Adam Cuthbertson and Dawson Drimmie…Like Matt Haufe, Jordan Latimer elected to start at the rear of the field in a quest for the $700 Skelton Truck Lines 'Trucking to the Front' bonus. Also like Haufe did in the July 8th make-up feature, Latimer finished 4th in the final rundown, meaning the bonus rolls over to $800 at the next event Saturday, August 26th at Peterborough.

Ken Schrader Takes First NASCAR Pinty's Series Victory in Freshstone Dirt Classic

 

Ken Schrader has won in nearly every discipline of motorsport during a career that has spanned over four decades.

 

With accomplishments that include multiple victories in the NASCAR Cup Series and Copper World Classic, along with a championship in the USAC Silver Crown Series, Schrader has established himself as one of the best drivers in the history of auto racing in North America.

 

On Monday evening, the 68-year-old Schrader added a NASCAR Pinty's Series win to his storied resume after starting on pole and leading the final 20 laps in the Freshstone Dirt Classic at Ohsweken Speedway.

 

"I just drove [the car]," Schrader said in Victory Lane. "These guys and Kyle [Steckly] my crew chief gave me an excellent car. They have their act together."

 

For most of the 100-lap event at Ohsweken, Schrader found himself tailing his teammate and current NASCAR Pinty's Series points leader Treyten Lapcevich. 

 

Having won the inaugural trip to Ohsweken last year in a thrilling photo finish with NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series veteran Stewart Friesen, Lapcevich picked up from where he left off by working his way around a spinning Alex Tagliani to take control of the field.

 

Lapcevich spent the evening mostly uncontested with Schrader right on his back bumper until the final 25 laps when he collided with the slower car of Michael Goudie. The collision sent Lapcevich wide into the runoff area between Turns 3 and 4, which created an opening for Schrader to take the lead. 

 

Despite having to deal with a couple of chaotic restarts, Schrader kept the talented cast of Lapcevich, Kevin Lacroix, D.J. Kennington, and others as he cruised to his maiden NASCAR Pinty's Series victory in his second appearance with the tour. 

 

Lacroix would be the one to finish behind Schrader in second after fending off Kennington in a spirited, late-race duel. Although he wished to have more track time, Lacroix was proud of his performance on Monday and will look to carry over his speed into Tuesday's 100-lap race.

 

"We didn't get to practice that much, but I kept getting better with the car as the race went on," Lacroix said. "I think I was a little bit faster than [Schrader] at the end. I fell back to seventh on a restart and I was just trying to catch up. [Monday] was a lot of fun and I enjoy this track a lot."

 

Although Schrader has won plenty of times over the past several years, Monday served as his first NASCAR-sanctioned win since 2006 when he picked up his last Copper World Classic triumph at Phoenix Raceway with what is now the ARCA Menards Series West.

 

The victory not only made Schrader the oldest winner in the history of the NASCAR Pinty's Series, but he also became the first non-Canadian driver to take home a checkered flag since the tour was founded in 2007.

 

Schrader expressed his gratitude to Scott Steckly and everyone at 22 Racing who helped make Monday evening so flawless at Ohsweken. With one win under his belt, Schrader will look to keep the momentum going on Tuesday night. 

 

"My teammate [Lapcevich] and I were working good together and then he got into the lapped car," Schrader said. "I knew I had to go then. I definitely want to thank [my sponsor] APC for letting us do this. They're the reason we're up here."

 

Lapcevich and Marc-Antoine Camirand completed the top-five behind Schrader, Lacroix, and Kennington. Rounding out the top-ten were Friesen, Daniel Bois, Thomas Nepveu, Alex Guenette, and Tagliani, the latter of which rebounded from two separate incidents.

 

The NASCAR Pinty's Series will immediately be back in action on Tuesday evening at Ohsweken Speedway for the Pinty's 100, with the green flag flying at approximately 9:42 p.m. ET.

 

The Freshstone Dirt Classic will air tape-delayed on TSN on Saturday, August 19 at 4:30 p.m. ET.

OMRS Mods Join Peterborough Speedway Double Toonie Night Line-Up

Fresh from another long weekend appearance at Flamboro Speedway, the Ontario Modifieds Racing Series, presented by GEN-3 Electrical will complete their back-to-back racing weekend dates with a Saturday, August 12th stop at Canada's Toughest 3rd Mile Oval for the year's final Double Toonie Fan Appreciation Night.

 

Looking back at the double feature format from Saturday, August 5th at Flamboro saw John Baker Jr. take checkered flags in each main event. With the final point tally, 'JBJ' took the overall win. Tyler Bouillon and Alex Cuzzilla were tied for 2nd with Rob Warnes, rookie of the year hopeful Andrew Massey, Rick Warnes, Bob Franks and Randy Hollingsworth rounding-out the finishing order.

 

Spectator grandstand admission for the Double Toonie Fan Appreciation Night at Peterborough Speedway is just $4.00 and includes an on-track autograph session at intermission. Pit gates open at 1:30, with grandstands at 4:00 and the first green flag at 5:00.

 

OMRS teams are getting ready for the 2nd annual running of the Bill Pickford Memorial – Saturday, August 26th – at Flamborough Speedway. Series officials are selling lap sponsorships for the event that pays tribute to one of the group's founders and former racer Bill Pickford. OSCAAR Mods & Hot Rods Open New Month at Peterborough Speedway

A new month's action of the 2023 schedule kicked-off Saturday, August 5th as the OSCAAR Modified and Hot Rod tours, along with the Outlaw Midgets joined the home track Bone Stock and Mini Stock divisions at Canada's Toughest 3rd Mile Oval.

 

The first feature event of the evening saw Tegan Stanley and Christen Lavalle on the front row as the Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock got set to fight it out for 20 laps. Stanley – wheeling the piece he lovingly calls 'Rhonda the Honda' – took the early lead, with former track champion Ryan Oosterholt having a strong run in his first start of the season. Invader Phil Givens also showed some muscle, putting his No. 50 machine into the 3rd spot just past the halfway mark. With lapped traffic in the mix, Oosterholt wrestled away the top spot with a 3-wide backstretch pass, as the scoreboard showed 15 laps complete. Stanley worked to the inside of Oosterholt with a turn 3 manoeuvre creating a late race shootout for his first career win, as the Bone Stocks again ran a caution-free feature. Oosterholt, Givens, Mark Griffin and Sam Arnott completed the top 5. In post-race inspection, Oosterholt was disqualified for a rear suspension violation, while Griffin had a right-front camber infraction. The finishing order was adjusted to move Sean Kennedy and Jake Kelly to 4th and 5th.

 

With 30 laps on the table, Bill Clarke and Ryan Cowan brought the Knightworks Design OSCAAR Hot Rod tour starters to the Great Canadian RV green flag. Bill Clarke took the early lead, with the No. 86 of Nick Clarke taking the runner-up spot. Tyler Hawn claimed the top spot with a trio of laps complete with Steve Book, Nick Clarke, Rob Bromley and Rick Spencer-Walt on his tail. The lead pack started to work through slower traffic at the back of the pack, with Spencer-Walt taking 2nd with 11 laps on the board. Wheeling the borrowed No. 31 ride, Spencer Walt took the lead after a lap 20 red flag for track clean-up and held on for the win. Hawn, Bromley, Book and Cowan completed the top 5.

 

Mike Homewood and Rob Harrison brought the Outlaw Midget field from the staging area for their 25-lap feature tilt. Homewood was the early race leader, with Larry Lawson, Harrison and Mike Bradley hot on his tail. Just after the frontrunners caught the back of the pack, Lawson became the new race leader. Following a lap 17 yellow flag, Homewood regained the lead and held it through a green, white checkered finish to claim the win. Harrison, Zackary Millman, Bradley and Jason Semple chased the leader across the stripe.

 

Erin Kearns and Kent Missons – wheeling Rob Crick's No. 84 ride – were on the front row for the 20-lap SwitchTire Mini Stock 'A' main. Kearns saw Missons zip past early, with the pace slowed by a yellow flag with only a single circuit complete. Ember Junkin moved into 2nd position on the restart and the lead duo ran some solid laps that included working through the backmarkers with just past halfway. Missons and Junkin were both strong at the front of the field, but the No. 19 machine could only get close as Missons earned the win in his fill-in role. Brandon Feeney, John Lavalle and Kearns rounded-out the top-5.

 

AJ Emms and Wally Wilson paced the Just Foam It OSCAAR Modified starting field to the line for the 40-lap feature that would close-out the first night of August action. Emms grabbed the early lead from his front row starting spot, with Wilson falling in behind. Emms had an advantage of about 10 car lengths on his competition, with Jason Keen moving to the runner-up position on a restart following a mid-race red flag. While watching Emms sprint away to a lead of about half a track, Keen and Chad Strawn were locked in a battle for the 2nd spot, with Strawn working past with less than 10 laps remaining. AJ Emms locked-up the win by leading every lap. Strawn, Keen, Norman Newman and Bryan Batty were next across the line.

 

Jake Kelly and Tegan Stanley each had a pair of Bone Stock opening round checkered flags. Brandon Feeney, Chris Tubman, Erin Kearns and Kent Missons took the Mini Stock heat races, with Norman Newman, AJ Emms, Chad Strawn and Jason Keen claiming the OSCAAR Modified heat race wins. OSCAAR Hot Rod qualifying wins went to Trevor Thompson, Rick Spencer-Walt, Tyler Hawn and Steve Book. Larry Lawson had wins in a pair of Outlaw Midget heats, with Mike Homewood and Nick Spiez taking the others.

 

All finishing positions are unofficial, pending scoring review and post-race technical inspection.

 

Bullring bullet points: Peterborough Speedway staff and officials hosted a free corn roast to open the night's event…Bone Stock racer Zachary Cheng got a shock when he uncovered his No. 39 machine in the pit area before the night's racing. Earlier in the day, some of his fellow racers helped replace the duct tape car numbers with some professional graphics and sponsor markings provided by Gates Graphics in Kingston…Shortly after winning his qualifying heat, Chris Tubman's No. 88 succumbed to head gasket issues and was sidelined for the rest of the night…Michael Robinson made his first Peterborough Speedway start of 2023 in the No. 95 Mini Stock, while Phil Givens was on hand in his No. 50 Bone Stock ride…Outlaw Midget Series racer Glenn Raymond made hard contact with the frontstretch wall during qualifying. His No. 78 machine too badly damaged to continue. Luckily, the driver was unhurt…The first night of racing for August wrapped-up with a display from Supernova Fireworks.

 

Saturday, August 12th, Peterborough Speedway will host the season's 3rd and final Double Toonie Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Pepsi. Spectator grandstand admission is just $4.00. The show's race program will include the home track Bone Stock, Mini Stock, Renegade Truck, Late Model and Junior Late Model divisions, plus the Ontario Modifieds Racing Series, with on-track autograph session at intermission. Pit gates will open at 1:30, spectator grandstands at 4:00 and the opening round of qualifying at 5:00.

Tegan Stanley (No. 23) marked the first show of the new month by landing his first career Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock feature win – Saturday, August 5th – at Peterborough Speedway.

 

In a fill-in role, Rick Spencer-Walt (No. 31) picked-up the Knightworks Design OSCAAR Hot Rod feature win – Saturday, August 5th – at Peterborough Speedway.

 

Pole sitter Mike Homewood (No. 17) claimed the Outlaw Midget feature event checkered flag – Saturday, August 5th – at Peterborough Speedway.

 

Kent Missons (No. 84) filled-in for his friend Rob Crick and picked-up the SwtchTire Mini Stock main event win – Saturday, August 5th – at Peterborough Speedway.

 

AJ Emms (No. 14) led from start to finish to win the Just Foam It OSCAAR Modified main event – Saturday, August 5th – at Peterborough Speedway.

Marc-Antoine Camirand Dominates at Edmonton International Raceway

 

Marc-Antoine Camirand captured his second win of the season in a dominating fashion at Edmonton International Raceway in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.

The defending race winner started the day out strong, with his first career pole on a paved oval and the fifth of his career.

Camirand was able to lead every lap, finishing the race by 11 seconds over Treyten Lapcevich, and completely lapping the field up to the top-three finishers.

"The car was so great," said Camirand. "I'm so proud of my team, thanks to my sponsors and now we will go to Saskatoon and try to win over there."

Despite the runner-up finish, Lapcevich had a hard fight for his result.

The No. 20 FBM/Delta Bingo/GSR/RGC/Leading Edge Chevrolet was fastest in practice and qualified second, 0.005 seconds off of Camirand.

However, Lapcevich had to relinquish his front-row position, after a kill switch issue forced him to return to the pits before the green flag for repairs.

After taking the green from the tail of the field, Lapcevich later ended up going a lap down when he spun on lap 64.

He then received the free pass at the halfway break and was able to navigate his way through the field to a second-place finish.

Due to the sweltering heat, several cars had heat-related issues.

Alex Guenette had been upfront battling in the top five when he suddenly started dropping positions and eventually was the cause of the halfway caution. Despite the team's best efforts, they were unable to get the No. 3 ASSA ABLOY/Fast Eddie/HGC Chevrolet going again, making Guenette the only retirement of the race after his engine let go due to overheating.

D.J. Kennington finished the race 109 laps down due to repeated issues with overheating while Andrew Ranger's 2023 season struggles continued. He finished 14 laps down in 15th, due to a similar problem.

Rookie Thomas Nepveu recorded a career-best finish of seventh after starting 13th.

Wester driver, Matthew Shirley, also finished in the top ten, in tenth, in his first start at the track.

Teams will now drive one province east to Saskatoon, SK, and Sutherland Automotive Raceway for the Leland Industries Twin 125.

The Bayer 300 from Edmonton International Raceway will be broadcast on tape delay on TSN on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. ET and on RDS2 on Sunday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. ET.

Fan-Favourite Western Canada Drivers Return to Series

 

As the NASCAR Pinty's Series makes its return out west to race at Edmonton International Raceway and Sutherland Automotive Raceway, the field is typically joined by several drivers from the western provinces. 

 

Over the NASCAR Pinty's Series' 17 years, 37 drivers from Western Canada have joined the field: eight from BC, 21 from Alberta, six from Saskatchewan, and two from Manitoba. 

 

The only driver from a western province to win a race in the series was Brett Taylor in 2019 at Jukasa Motor Speedway while the driver with the most start in the series is Jason White from B.C. (108). 

 

On the entry list for this year, Jamie Krzysik is the only Alberta driver making a start. He has competed in 16 events over seven seasons, with his best finish of fourth coming at his home track, Edmonton, back in 2016.

 

Between 2012 and 2014, Krzysik competed in nine ARCA Menards Series West races, finishing second at Colorado National Speedway in 2013. 

 

Shantel Kalika, the first female driver to make a start in 2023, made her series debut back in 2018. Since then, she has run 13 races over four seasons with her best finish of eleventh coming at Sunset Speedway in 2021. She later matched that finish last year in race two at Sutherland. 

 

A newer face to the series, Matthew Shirley made his debut last year in the Leland Industries Twin 125s at Sutherland Automotive Speedway. Shirley finished 11th and 14th in the No. 28 Dodge for DJK Racing.  

 

A Look Back at Last Season

 

The 2022 trip out west featured three different winners visiting victory lane. 

 

Marc-Antoine Camirand captured his second win of the season at Edmonton International Raceway, holding off Kevin Lacroix in a NASCAR Overtime finish. The race, which featured 14 lead changes and eight cautions, was just a taste of what the twin races at Sutherland Automotive Speedway in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. 

 

The first Twin 125 was decided by a two-lap shootout for the win with D.J. Kennington edging out Andrew Ranger. The battle became the sixth closest finish in series history with Ranger crossing the line just 0.079 seconds behind Kennington. 

 

The second Twin 125 was won by Alex Tagliani with Ranger finishing second once again. 

 

Ones to Watch - Edmonton & Saskatoon

 

  • L.P. Dumoulin: L.P. Dumoulin and the No. 47 WeatherTech / Bellemare Dodge have historically been very strong at Edmonton International Raceway. Dumoulin has never finished worse than fifth, with one win, three runner-up finishes, and four podiums. At Sutherland, he has also been very successful with two wins, seven top-fives, and ten top-tens. 
  • Marc-Antoine Camirand: The reigning winner at Edmonton, Marc-Antoine Camirand will look to make up some ground out west. In his collective 11 starts at Edmonton and Sutherland, he has only finished outside the top ten once. Overall, he has one win, six top-fives, and ten top-tens, between the two tracks.
  • Alex Tagliani: The driver of the No. 18 Chevrolet has led the most laps at Edmonton (487). He won at the track in 2016 and has three top-fives and five top-tens. Last year at Sutherland, he claimed his first win at the track for a total of four top-fives and nine top-tens. 
  • Kevin Lacroix: While Kevin Lacroix has never won out west, he is always a dark horse in Alberta and Saskatchewan. At Edmonton, he's led 392 laps, with two poles, two top-fives, and four top-tens in only five starts. In Saskatoon, he's led 131 laps, has two poles, three top-fives, and eight top-tens in nine starts. 
  • Andrew Ranger: Arguably one of the most dominant drivers out west, Andrew Ranger is the only driver with two wins at Edmonton. He totals 301 laps with three top-fives and five top-tens there. At Sutherland, he claimed his sole win at the track in 2019, has led 384 laps, and has amassed seven top-fives and 12 top-tens, Including a double podium finish last year. 
  • D.J. Kennington: Despite never seeing victory lane in Edmonton, D.J. Kennington has never finished outside the top ten at the Alberta track. However, Saskatoon is where the No. 17 Castrol Edge Dodge shines. A reigning race winner at Sutherland, Kennington has a total of three wins, 11 top-fives, 14 top-tens, and three pole awards. He's led 454 laps there, second to Scott Steckly with 473. 
  • Treyten Lapcevich: You can't leave out the current points leader who has won two of the three ovals this year alone. While Lapcevich struggled during his first trip out west last year, he still managed to pick up the first pole award in Saskatoon, eventually finishing fourth in that race. However, race two at Sutherland gave him trouble as he finished 17th, three laps down. La course dans les rues de Toronto lance la campagne estivale de la série NASCAR Pinty's

 

Bien que Treyten Lapcevich se soit approprié les drapeaux à damier tout au long du premier tiers de la saison, les mois de juillet et août sont ceux où le championnat se gagne ou se perd.

 

Le jeune pilote de 19 ans a remporté trois des quatre premières courses de 2023 en s'imposant lors de l'ouverture de la saison au Sunset Speedway puis, lors de la première course sur tracé routier de l'année, au Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) ainsi qu'à la plus récente course tenue au Eastbound International Speedway, à Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador.

 

La seule course qui lui a échappé à ce jour est celle tenue à l'Autodrome Chaudière, où le champion en titre de la série, Marc-Antoine Camirand, a su gagner avec Lapcevich en deuxième position.

 

« Nous lançons le cœur de la saison avec du momentum », déclare Lapcevich. « 2022 a été teintée de malchances et nous souhaitons comptabiliser de solides résultats cette année, en roulant aux avant-postes semaine après semaine, afin d'être au rendez-vous pour le titre en fin de saison. »

 

Pour la cinquième étape de la saison 2023, la série se rend à l'Exhibition Place pour le Grand Prix de Toronto Tiffany Gate. L'une des plus importantes fins de semaine de course au Canada mettra en vedette les meilleurs pilotes du pays, qui s'affronteront dans les virages serrés des rues de Toronto.

 

Seuls trois pilotes ont remporté le Grand Prix de Toronto - Andrew Ranger (3), Alex Tagliani (2) et le vainqueur en titre Kevin Lacroix (2). L'an dernier, Kevin Lacroix, au volant de la Dodge no74, a mené 29 des 35 tours en route vers sa deuxième victoire de la saison, devant Ranger et Louis-Philippe Dumoulin qui ont complété le podium.

 

Aujourd'hui, Lacroix occupe la deuxième place du classement, à 23 points de Lapcevich, alors que la série entre dans sa période la plus active et sans doute la plus difficile de la saison.

 

Après le Grand Prix de Toronto Tiffany Gate, les équipes se rendront dans l'ouest du pays pour trois épreuves : une au Edmonton International Raceway (Wetaskiwin, AB) et deux au Sutherland Automotive Speedway (Saskatoon, SK).

 

Le mois d'août sera marqué par la course traditionnelle dans les rues de Trois-Rivières, au Québec, suivi de deux courses sur terre battue au Ohsweken Speedway, ainsi que par la visite au circuit ICAR, sur d'anciennes pistes goudronnées de l'aéroport de Mirabel. 

 

Alex Guénette, qui fait figure de candidat aux victoires et au titre depuis le début de l'année, avait remporté sa première victoire en Pinty's l'an dernier lors du Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières. Pour sa part, Lapcevich tentera d'enchaîner deux victoires consécutives au Ohsweken Speedway, après avoir remporté l'épreuve inaugurale sur cette piste en 2022.

 

Cette saison, l'événement unique sur la terre battue a été transformé en un programme double prévu pour les lundis 14 et mardi 15 août, alors que la série Pinty's fêtera sa 200e course lors de la deuxième soirée.

 

Le mois de septembre commencera avec la dernière course sur circuit routier, au CTMP, où Camirand s'était assuré du titre 2022 grâce à une victoire.

 

Le Delaware Speedway accueillera à nouveau la finale de la saison et couronnera le champion de la saison 2023. 

 

Entrée gratuite lors du "Vendredi des fans" du Honda Indy

 

Le Grand Prix de Toronto Tiffany Gate sera le point culminant de l'événement "Vendredi des fans" de Honda Indy. Le vendredi, les amateurs pourront assister gratuitement à la course NASCAR Pinty's en faisant un don volontaire à l'organisme Make-A-Wish Canada.

 

À ce jour, un total cumulatif de 905 000 $ a été amassé et chaque dollar permet de réaliser les vœux d'enfants atteints de maladies chroniques.

 

Après le Grand Prix de Toronto Tiffany Gate, l'événement inaugural REV & RUN prendra place, au cours duquel les coureurs et les marcheurs s'élanceront sur le tracé du Honda Indy. Plusieurs pilotes de la série Pinty's participeront à l'événement, notamment Louis-Philippe Dumoulin et D.J. Kennington.

 

NASCAR Pinty's etc.

  • Le champion national canadien de karting, Darryl Timmers, fera ses débuts dans la série ce vendredi au volant de la Chevrolet n°98 CURB Records/Darkhorse Trailer.
  • Des pilotes de circuit routier reviennent en piste, notamment le duo père-fils Peter et Gary Klutt, Daniel Bois, Matthew Scannell, Jean-Frédéric Laberge et l'aîné des frères Dumoulin, Jean-François.
  • D'autres pilotes connus de la région de Toronto participeront à l'événement : Trevor Monaghan, Sam Fellows et Kyle Steckly.
  • Le Grand Prix de Toronto Tiffany Gate à l'Exhibition Place sera diffusé en direct sur TSN+ au Canada et sur FloRacing aux États-Unis à 17h00 (HNE) le vendredi 14 juillet 2023. La course sera aussi diffusée en différé sur TSN le dimanche 23 juillet à 15h00 HNE et sur RDS2 le dimanche 30 juillet à 11h00 HNE.
