NASCAR to Launch French-language Content on NASCAR.ca

NASCAR to Launch French-language Content on NASCAR.ca

To meet the growing demand for NASCAR Pinty's Series content, NASCAR announced the addition of French-language stories to NASCAR.ca

"The NASCAR Pinty's Series continues to grow as we add more fans across every province," said Gene Stefanyshyn, NASCAR chief international officer. "We have a very passionate fanbase in Quebec, and want to ensure our French-speaking fans across the country are able to follow all the race action throughout the season."

Leading into each race weekend, two preview stories will be posted in both English and French. "Pit Box" kicks off race week with a top-level preview of the upcoming race, followed later in the week by "News and Notes," a comprehensive look at top storylines to watch at the track.

Once on-track activity begins, fans can follow along live on NASCAR.ca Race Center (https://hometracks.nascar.com/international/pintys-series/race-center-nascar-pintys-series/). Practice, qualifying and race recaps will be available in both languages.

"There are already a lot of French-Canadian NASCAR fans as we are racing three times in Quebec this year," said defending series champion and Trois Rivieres, Quebec native LP Dumoulin. "Moreover, for many drivers in the series French is the first language. It's a great way to show the fans our appreciation by providing them relevant information in both languages.

"Not all francophones have had the chance to learn a second language (English) and travel across Canada and the United States as we do. It will also be very interesting for the European fans, in France and Belgium for example, who want to learn and follow our series."
