Heading Into the Next Season of Action at Peterborough Speedway

All is quiet at the tight, tricky oval on Mount Pleasant Road right now, but there is plenty of action going on behind the scenes as Peterborough Speedway gets ready for the 2024 season.
Track officials have all but put the finishing touches on the schedule that will kick-off Saturday, May 18th with the annual Pure Country 105 Season Opener. Venue owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse says he's confident that the new line-up will have plenty to fans of the hometown favourites and special guest divisions.
"Everyone looks forward to the first show of the year," said J.P. Josiasse. "Fans are anxious to see what they've been missing since the final checkered flag of the Autumn Colours Classic, while racers are pumped-up about the chance to put their equipment through its paces and get the season off to a roaring start."
With staff dialing-in 2024 dates on the local front, representatives with the province's touring series have added special events to the upcoming agenda:

2024 APC Autumn Colours Classic
More dates will be added and the 31st annual APC Autumn Colours Classic details released once schedules for the travelling divisions have been finalized. Peterborough Speedway's complete 2024 line-up will be released during the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo – presented by eBay Motors – March 8th through 10th at the International Centre.
It isn't too early to start making plans for the next season of action at Canada's Toughest 3rd Mile Oval. For the latest news, information and updates, keep an eye on www.peterboroughspeedway.com and the track's social media platforms.
