PLATTSBURGH, NY – The full moon was out over Airborne Park Speedway on Saturday, August 1, and perhaps not-so-coincidentally the stock car racing action was a touch wild. Jason Durgan and Bucko Branham were among the survivors to stand in victory lane at the crash-marred Aaron's Sales & Lease/Liquor & Wine Warehouse Night, as were Jon Boutin and Chris LaVair.

The J&S Steel Modified division of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series presented by Yandow Sales & Service and John Deere ran twin 30-lap features, with Morrisonville racer Durgan and hometown veteran Branham splitting the victories. Durgan's win in the first race came despite a 13^th-place starting position; he sliced through traffic and avoided three wrecks to catch rookie Jamy Begor in the final eight laps. Durgan completed his pass for the lead with five circuits remaining and drove to his second win of the year. Branham followed a similar path through the field and finished second, while Begor, of Mooers Forks, finished a career-best third. Greg Atkins and Mike Wells finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

In the second round, Branham again charged through the field from 14^th place to victory lane for his third win of the season and the 60^th documented Airborne Park Speedway victory of his long career, extending his all-time track record. The race was full of bumps and bangs, including a wreck that demolished Begor's car. Leon Gonyo of Chazy was the runner-up, his best Airborne result since a win in May. Plattsburgh's Nick Heywood completed the podium after original third-place finisher Wells was disqualified for a weight infraction in post-race inspection. Atkins took fourth for the second time of the night, and Codie Aubin was fifth.

Heywood's championship point lead took a hit following a 16^th-place finish in the first 30-lap race, and Atkins trimmed his deficit down from 23 points to just two markers (594-592). Branham sits third, 28 points behind Heywood, followed by Durgan and rookie Danny Sullivan.

The Key R-D Trailer Sales Renegade division saw its share of bent sheet metal, and the race ended with an incident at the finish that saw Jim McKiernan cross the line first and Jon Boutin take second place backwards. McKiernan was stripped of the win in post-race inspection for a weight infraction and has been suspended indefinitely from both Airborne Park Speedway and partner track Devil's Bowl Speedway for unsportsmanlike conduct following the disqualification.

Boutin, of St. Albans, VT, was moved up to the winner's spot for the second victory of his career. Josh Terry of Essex, NY was scored as the runner-up, ahead of Dylan Rabtoy, Shawn Duquette, and Tylor Terry. Duquette, of Morrisonville, is the new championship point leader following a crash that severely damaged the car of previous leader Richie Turner. Duquette's lead is a narrow seven points over Turner (491-484), with Robert Gordon another 10 points behind.

The Busch Beer Mini-Modified division saw another round of the "Chris & Kris Show" as Chris LaVair and Kris Clark put on a clean and entertaining battle for the win. LaVair, of Gabriels, took the checkered flag for his fourth win of the season. Clark was the runner-up, ahead of Eddie Bresette, Dale O'Neil, and Tim LaFountain. LaVair leads Clark by 45 points (546-501) for the title.

Andrew Bordeau of Dannemora cleaned house in the Renegade Mechanics Race, driving a car he fields for regular driver Tylor Terry. Bordeau defeated a trio of former division champions in Lance Rabtoy, Kevin Boutin Jr., and Dave Rabtoy. Clint Adams finished fifth.

Airborne Park Speedway is back in action on Saturday, August 8 at 7:00 p.m. as Ernie's Discount Tools presents the second 100-lap Renegade race of the season. The event will also feature the Modified and Mini-Mod classes in regular events, along with the "King of the Hill" elimination tournament for the Modifieds. The top 10 point drivers and one other driver that wins a pre-race fan vote will have a shot at the $500 winner-take-all prize. General admission for the event is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and free for kids age 12 and under.

NAPLES, ME (July 29) – With the 42^nd Annual AIM Recycling Oxford 250 Presented By Kenny U-Pull just a month away, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model teams will have one more opportunity to prepare at Oxford Plains Speedway with this weekend's HP Hood 150. Over 50 teams have pre-entered for the Oxford 250 to date and, with over 70 teams expected for the biggest and most prestigious Super Late Model race in the North America, track time at Oxford Plains will be at a premium. 6-time PASS North Super Late Model champion, Johnny Clark, is taking advantage of every opportunity available to race at Oxford. Last weekend, Clark finished fifth in the track's weekly Super Late Model division and will be among the favorites to take the checkered flag this Sunday afternoon in the HP Hood 150.

" There will be a lot of heavy hitters and all the teams will be raring to go this weekend at Oxford," says Clark, driver of the Clark's Car Crushing #54. "Everyone wants to make a statement that they are ready for the 250."

In addition to giving teams valuable track time at Oxford Plains Speedway, this weekend's HP Hood 150 will also give them a chance to compete in a longer event with similar conditions to those that are expected for the 42^nd Annual AIM Recycling Oxford 250 Presented By Kenny U-Pull in late-August.

Besides the hot action on the track, fans will also be keeping track of the battle for the series championship. 3-time Oxford 250 winner, Mike Rowe, and defending PASS North champion, DJ Shaw, have traded the points lead back-and-forth between them over the last few weeks. Rowe currently leads Shaw by 37 points heading into the HP Hood 150, while Airborne Park Speedway winner, Joey Doiron, and 2-time defending Oxford 250 winner, Travis Benjamin, sit within 102 points of the leaders.

A great field of PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Models Presented By Kenny U-Pull history is expected on Sunday at Oxford Plains Speedway for the HP Hood 150. In addition to the aforementioned drivers, all-time PASS wins leader, Ben Rowe, will lead a strong group of contenders from the state of Maine including Richie Dearborn, Dave Farrington, Jr., Scott Farrington, Tracy Gordon, Garrett Hall, Michael Landry, Reid Lanpher, Glen Luce, Shawn Martin, Scott McDaniel, Kelly Moore, David Oliver, Adam Polvinen, Tony Ricci, Gary Smith, Dennis Spencer, Jr., JT Thurlow, and Bobby Timmons. Quebec is represented in the early entries by Raphael Lessard, while Dan Colby, Jeremy Davis, Wayne Helliwell, Jr. and Steve Johnson will make the trip over from New Hampshire.

Action begins this Saturday afternoon at Oxford Plains Speedway with a full slate of weekly racing, including Super Late Models. On Sunday, gates will open at 11 AM, followed by rotating practice from 12:30 PM to 12:40 PM, with heat races beginning at3 PM followed by main events for the PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Models and support divisions.

42^nd Annual Oxford 250 To Be Broadcasted Live on Speed51.com

Naples, ME - For many years now, race fans throughout the country have been telling their friends, "I wish there was a way to watch live video of the Oxford 250." In 2015, those wishes will come true.

Speed51.com, the Pro All Stars Series and Oxford Plains Speedway are pleased to announce that the 42^nd Annual AIM Recycling Oxford 250 will be able to seen around the world via a live pay-per-view broadcast on 51 TV, the online video streaming service on Speed51.com powered by JEGS.

Fans can purchase their three-day video (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) ticket for Oxford 250 weekend now for just $51.99. A single-day ticket for Sunday only can be purchased for $29.99.

The race, coined "the richest single day short track racing event in North America," will see the winner take home a minimum of $25,100 and as much as $50,000 on Sunday, August 30. It is an event that race fans throughout the country drop what they're doing to follow, and now for the first time, those same fans will be able to watch the race as well.

"The AIM Recycling Oxford 250 is big in its own right, but now this makes it even bigger," said Tom Mayberry, owner of the Pro All Stars Series. "So many people come to this race each year, but so many more cannot. Now people all over the country that can't make it, for whatever reason, will be able to watch it through Speed51.com.

"This race is talked about throughout the United States and we're excited to bring it to everyone with this live broadcast."

Part of what makes the Oxford 250 so special is the heat race format used for qualifying. Some even say the qualifying is worth the price of admission. In this case, it will be worth the price of a video ticket as well, because all three rounds of qualifying (heats, consis and last chance race) will be broadcast live on 51 TV.

Currently, 53 drivers are on the entry list for the biggest Super Late Model event in the Northeast and many expect there to be 70-80 cars attempting to qualify onAugust 30. The entry list currently reads like a who's who in Super Late Model racing with recent NASCAR Camping World Truck Series winner Christopher Bell, current PASS North points leader Mike Rowe and defending PASS North champion DJ Shaw being just a handful of drivers hoping to end two-time defending race winner Travis Benjamin's bid at three straight wins.

"The Oxford 250 is one of the crown jewel events of short track racing," said Bob Dillner, Executive Editor of Speed51.com. "I've been to the race as a fan and as a competitor, so now I'm personally excited to be there to bring it to fans on a streaming video broadcast to a worldwide audience. We will have multiple cameras to bring a network-style feel to everyone watching from home, work or while they are out and about."

In addition to all of the action on Sunday, 51 TV will also be live covering the racing action on Friday and Saturday night.

51 TV will go live for the first time at Oxford Plains Speedway on Friday afternoon to cover a portion of the first Super Late Model practice session. The track's weekly warriors will also be highlighted to a national audience on Friday night's broadcast that will feature the PASS Modifieds, Street Stocks, Outlaws, Sports Trucks, Ladies, Rebels, Cruisers and Bandits.

Friday night's action can be purchased separately for just $14.99.

Saturday's live broadcast will once again feature a portion of Super Late Model practice as teams dial in their cars for the prestigious Oxford 250. The ground-pounding Modifieds of the Valenti Modified Racing Series will be in the spotlight on Saturday night and their 100-lap event will be broadcast live on 51 TV. They will be joined by the North East Mini Stock Tour, Street Stocks, PASS Modifieds, Wicked Good Racers and Classic Lites.

Saturday night's live broadcast can be purchased by itself for $19.99.

On Sunday, it will be the granddaddy of them all, the 42^nd Annual AIM Recycling Oxford 250 live on Speed51.com. The live broadcast will kick off with a pre-race show and continue until the winner of the $25,000 race is crowned.

St-Felicien, QC – Série American-Canadian Tour (ACT) point leader Dany Trépanier broke into the winner's circle for the first time this season by capturing the St-Felicien 150 at Quebec's Autodrome St-Felicien on Saturday, August 1.

The St-Edourard, QC driver won the first segment of the two-segment event, leading the final 19 laps en route to the win. Trépanier then finished second to former Série ACT Champion Jean-François Déry in the second segment to take the overall win with a combined score of three points. It is the third Série ACT win of Trépanier's career and first since July 2014.

Chicoutimi, QC's Michael Lavoie, substituting for defending Série ACT Champion Alex Labbé, finished second and third in the two segments for a score of five points, giving him the overall runner-up position. Déry won a tiebreaker with Martin Goulet Jr. for third in the final tally. Patrick Cliche, Jonathan Bouvrette, Karl Allard, Gaetan Longtin, Simon Roussin, and Claude Leclerc completed the top-10.

Ten cautions slowed the event., while Longtin and Trépanier won the heat races. Trépanier unofficially extends his point lead to 47 markers over Bouvrette.

Série ACT will be back in action along with the ACT U.S. Tour Saturday, August 22 with the Can-Am 150 at St-Croix, QC's Circuit Riverside Speedway. The sixth running the event marks the second combination race of the year between the two Tours and the first one north of the border.

Pour un pilote de circuit routier, je suis meilleur sur ovale cette année.Mon focus est ciblé sur la série NASCAR Canadian Tire. Nous devons travailler sur le programme de circuit routier sur la voiture #04 Bernier Crépeau / Bellemare/ MIA / Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi / Spectra Premium pour revenir plus fort en 2016. Je veux terminer la saison et être en mesure de me battre pour le championnat l'année prochaine », explique avec aplomb Jean-François Dumoulin.

Défis 2015

L'objectif de l'équipe est de se rapprocher le plus possible du top-5 au classement. À ce jour, le bilan de saison du pilote de la voiture #04 Bernier Crépeau / Bellemare/ MIA / Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi / Spectra Premium est positif, quatre top-10, dont deux top-5 et un podium.

Le week-end du Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières est l'épreuve la plus importante de la saison pour la famille Dumoulin. Tant au niveau logistique que mécanique, tout était en place pour faire de cet événement un succès. Un quatrième top-5 pour Louis-Philippe Dumoulin

Trois-Rivières (Québec, Canada), le 3 août 2015 – Depuis le début, dans différentes séries, c'est toujours avec engouement que Louis-Philippe Dumoulin se présente à domicile afin de compétitionner devant ses partenaires, famille, amis et fans qui sont venus l'encourager. Sur le circuit routier du Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin a privilégié la prudence pour le championnat hier lors de l'épreuve du « 50 tour JuliaWine.com ». Au volant de la Dodge #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare, le Trifluvien a croisé le fil d'arrivée en cinquième position, lui permettant ainsi de solidifier la quatrième place au classement des pilotes.

Au cours de la première séance d'essais du samedi (1er août), les équipiers #47WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare ont effectué quelques ajustements. Toutefois, la pluie n'a pas permis de les éprouver correctement en piste et de peaufiner les réglages maximaux pour la qualification. Cinquième sur la grille de départ, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin a repéré rapidement qu'il n'avait pas l'équipement pour se battre pour la victoire et a judicieusement choisi de protéger sa position tout au long de la course.

« Dès les premiers tours de piste,

nous avons compris que nous n'avions pas la vitesse nécessaire pour gagner. La compétition a été serrée pour la troisième place. Cependant, à la dernière relance, le démarreur de la voiture #47WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare est resté coincé ce qui a ralenti les forces moteur et, à ce moment-là, il n'était plus possible de se battre pour le podium. Entre la quatrième et la cinquième place, c'est un seul point de différence au championnat et nous avons préféré assurer la fin de la course », explique Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.

À 18 points du meneur, l'équipe #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare peut toujours prétendre au championnat.

« Nous nous battons encore pour le « podium » du championnat, il reste trois courses à faire, une sur circuit routier, deux sur ovale, tout peut changer rapidement, alors nous continuons à travailler fort sur la suite du programme pour revenir en force à Riverside », partage avec aplomb le champion 2014.

#04 & #47 Dodge - Création et crédit Patphotos Promotor

Grâce à l'appui de WeatherTech et Jean Coutu Trois-Rivières Métropolitain-Nicolet, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin sera au volant de la Mini Cooper Countryman #147 préparées par JRM Racing. Le champion 2014 de la série NASCAR Canadian Tire et le finaliste en rallycross au GP3R 2014 Patrick Carpentier feront équipe au sein de l'Équipe RX Québec pour prendre part à la manche canadienne du Championnat du monde de rallycross présenté par Monster Energy les 7 et 8 août.

« J'ai vraiment hâte, nous irons tester mercredi [5 août] à St-Eustache. C'est un beau défi et je suis convaincu que je vais m'amuser comme un p'tit fou. Je suis très reconnaissant queWeatherTech et les Jean Coutu Trois-Rivières Métropolitain-Nicolet m'offrent l'opportunité de compétitionner dans cette série de calibre mondial », mentionne avec enthousiasme Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.
