(TOLEDO, Ohio) - Ken Schrader added yet another win to his widening record book with another victory in his Federated Auto Parts dirt modified Friday night at the Indiana State Fairgrounds dirt mile in Indianapolis.

The victory came on the heels of his historic win in the Menards 200 ARCA Racing Series event recently at Toledo Speedway. His next stop - Elko (Minn.) Speedway for ARCA's Akona 250 presented by Federated Car Care Saturday, June 1.

"Thought we were going to have a real busy week racing last week, but we rained out most everywhere," Schrader said. "We got two out of six (races) in."

In addition to his win in the Indy mile Friday, Schrader finished second in his modified at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois Sunday night.

"Other than the mile and Granite City, everything rained out. Terre Haute rained out Wednesday night. The Indy mile got rained out Thursday, so they moved it to Friday. Got rained out at Pevely Saturday night, raced Sunday in Granite City, and got rained out tonight (Monday) at Macon."

Attempting to run six races in six nights would wear most people out, but apparently not Schrader, who's been doing it this way for the last 40-plus years. The NASCAR/ARCA veteran racer will turn 58 Tuesday, May 29, ahead of this Saturday's Akona 250 at Elko. He's also on track to compete in more than 80 races by year's end. A combination of ARCA races, dirt modified races, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the Camping World Truck Series will keep Schrader plenty busy for the year.

His ARCA win at Toledo earlier this month distinguished Schrader as the oldest winner in ARCA Racing Series history.

"We got caught off guard with all the publicity we got from that. For one, it was the only Sunday race, so that helped a lot. But ARCA did such a great job with the promotion of that event, and it was live on SPEED, so it opened it up to an even bigger audience. But I was quite surprised."

His ARCA triumphs are a stark reminder of his versatile driving skills, with wins at Toledo, the Topeka, Kansas road course, the Indiana State Fairgrounds mile-dirt, the Illinois State Fairgrounds mile-dirt, DuQuoin, the Hagerstown Speedway half-mile dirt, Nashville Superspeedway, and other short tracks at Salem, South Boston Speedway, and Anderson Speedway.

In 61 career ARCA starts, he's earned 16 wins among 40 top-five finishes and 48 top-10s, with 15 Menards Pole Awards presented by Ansell. Through it all, he's led an impressive 2,226 laps in 35 races.

Schrader was also the 1999 ARCA Racing Series car owner champion with Bill Baird driving, and a back-to-back car owner winner at Daytona with Mike Wallace and Andy Hillenburg.

His NASCAR career includes four Sprint Cup Series wins at Charlotte, Dover, Talladega, and Atlanta, two wins in the Bud Shootout at Daytona, three poles in the Daytona 500, and eight top-10 Cup championship points finishes.

Prior to his stock car career, Schrader first made a name for himself in USAC where he earned the USAC Silver Crown Series championship in 1982 and the USAC Sprint Car championship in 1983. He has 33 career USAC victories overall in Silver Crown, Sprints and Midgets.

Not surprisingly, Schrader has already raced on the three-eighths-mile Elko track a few years back when track officials created a dirt surface over the asphalt.

"We raced up there a few years ago, but that was on the dirt. Either way, it's a great little track. I like it either way."

Raceday at Elko starts with ARCA Racing Series practice from 2-2:45 p.m., with final practice following from 3:15-4. Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell starts at 5:30 with the Akona 250 set to take the green flag at 8.

Championnat québécois de l’ACT à l’ASE; CETTE FOIS, PATRICK LAPERLE Y SERA

C'est avec une semaine de retard que le championnat québécois de l'ACT prendra son envol. Ce lever de rideau de la saison 2013 aura lieu à l'Autodrome St-Eustache dans les basses Laurentides, samedi, alors que le Montmagny 100 a été reporté au 27 juillet prochain.

Pour la circonstance, le quadruple champion de l'ACT (trois titres au Québec et un aux USA), Patrick Laperle de St-Denis-sur-Richelieu sera sur place pour reprendre où il a laissé l'an dernier. Le pilote de la Fusion LaSalle Ford avait annoncé en début de saison qu'il laissait sa couronne vacante et qu'il ne participerait qu'à quelques épreuves de son choix et selon ce que nous avons appris, les trois confrontations de St-Eustache font partie de celui-ci. Il en est ainsi pour l'épreuve conjointe des deux séries qui se tiendra sur le triovale de Sanair, le 3 août prochain.

Sous la sanction de l'ACT à l'Autodrome St-Eustache, Patrick Laperle est celui qui compte le plus grand nombre de victoires avec huit. Pour sa part, Sylvain Lacombe de Terrebonne possède une fiche de trois gains sous l'ACT, mais son palmarès est plus éloquent que cela alors qu'il participait aux programmes réguliers de l'Autodrome St-Eustache. Tout comme Laperle, il sera sur place pour tenter de prendre place sur la première marche du podium à la fin de ce St-Eustache 100.

Pour en revenir à Laperle, mentionnons qu'il n'a pas essayé sa voiture depuis le début de l'année et qu'à St-Eustache, il débutera la période d'essais libres avec les ajustements que l'an dernier. Questionné à savoir s'il participerait à l'Oxford 250 ou à l'International 500 de Plattsburgh, Laperle a précisé que l'équipe n'avait pas encore arrêté son choix.

Pour le titre

Pour les Québécois Jean-François Déry et Donald Theetge, leur participation au St-Eustache a un double objectif. En premier lieu, ils visent la victoire comme Laperle et Lacombe, mais également le championnat québécois de l'ACT à la fin du calendrier. Ils feront donc tout en leur possible pour atteindre leur but. Si la situation l'exige, il ne faudra pas se surprendre si l'un deux lève le pied afin d'obtenir le plus de points possible au lieu de risquer un accident bête.

Il y a également Jonathan Bouvrette de Blainville qui a encore un goût amer de sa dernière course de l'ACT à ce complexe motorisé. On se souviendra qu'après avoir mené l'épreuve à plus d'une reprise, une mauvaise décision quant à un arrêt à son puits lui aurait probablement couté cette première victoire depuis qu'il est dans les rangs de l'ACT.

Ancien champion Nascar Whelen à St-Eustache, Bouvrette entend bien se reprendre cette fois, car lors d'une confrontation de 100 tours, on peut parcourir la distance sans arrêt aux puits.

Puis, il y a l'entrée en scène d'Alex Labbé qui suscite beaucoup d'intérêt. Le jeune pilote de St-Albert qui a déjà une victoire à son palmarès de l'ACT lors de la saison 2011 où il a gagné le Montmagny 250, sa première victoire dans l'ACT. À noter qu'en 2010, il avait été proclamé la recrue de l'année. Cette fois, Alex a tout un défi, soit celui de remplacer Karl Allard dans l'équipe Larue Équipement de déneigement. On connait le talent de Labbé et on mise beaucoup sur lui pour rivaliser avec Theetge et Déry dans la lutte pour le titre.

Plusieurs autres pilotes ont le talent pour l'emporter et tout ce qui manque, c'est un peu de chance. On n'a qu'à penser à des pilotes tels qu'Étienne Cliche de Vallée-Jonction, Patrick Hamel et Dany Trépanier de St-Édouard-de-Lotbinière, Patrick Cliche de St-Jean-Chrysostome, David Michaud de Ste-Anne-des-Plaines s'il décide de pointer à St-Eustache et de nombreux autres.

Au même programme, il y aura des épreuves des divers championnats ANCA, mais cette organisation fera connaître son horaire et les classes à l'affiche dans un autre communiqué de presse.

PASS Pro Late Models To Take Center Stage At Dillon This Weekend

CHARLOTTE, NC (May 29) – For the first time this season, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Pro Late Models will be the featured division as they headline the First Citizens 200 Saturday night at Dillon Motor Speedway. The 4/10 mile, egg-shaped layout of the Dillon Motor Speedway is a tough challenge to even the most experienced racer and the competition is certainly aware of that factor heading into this weekend. In less than two years though, the PASS Pro Late Models has proven to be one of the country's top divisions for racers looking to make the step up into a touring division. Already this year, drivers like Tate Fogleman, Cole Timm, Jody Measamer, and Karl Weber have shown glimpses of their potential in the PASS South Super Late Model division thanks in large part to their time racing with the PASS Pro Late Models.

Harrison Burton and Trevor Noles have both found success this season in the PASS Pro Late Models, finishing first and second respectively at Dillon back in March. Since then, Noles has gone on to record three PASS Pro Late Model wins and has become one of the hottest commodities in short track racing. Additionally, Noles made his PASS South Super Late Model debut in the Coulter Motorsports #2 at Southern National Raceway Park where he finished ninth and followed that up by leading laps at South Boston Speedway and finishing 12^th. Noles says he is looking forward to showcasing his talent further this weekend at Dillon as the PASS Pro Late Models step into the spotlight.

"I'm looking forward to it, it's going to be different for sure," said Noles. "It was definitely surprising back in March how well [Harrison] Burton ran. I figured they'd be good, but hopefully we can go back there and show them up. It should be a good battle for sure."

Harrison Burton certainly has an affinity for Dillon Motor Speedway following his big win there to open the season. Being the son of veteran racer Jeff Burton and the nephew of 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton could be quite stressful for a young man, but so far, the stress has not shown on Harrison. Perhaps the biggest stress for the 12-year-old racer has been the adjustment in moving from the smaller, less powerful Quarter Midget machine to the faster, heavier PASS Pro Late Model.

"I definitely have learned to try and be consistent and to hit my marks," said Burton of his learning curve. "I think that's one of the hardest parts about Dillon is to try and hit your marks and go fast. It's a very fun track to run at and we're definitely looking forward to going back to try and defend our win."

In addition to the PASS Pro Late Models, the CCS Modifieds, CCS Legends, Supertrucks, and Street Stocks will all be in action this weekend at Dillon Motor Speedway as part of the First Citizens 200. Gates will open Saturday at 2:30 PM, with rotating practice at 4:30 PM, qualifying at 6:30 PM, and racing at 8 PM.

AU PROGRAMME, EN PLUS DES PILOTES ACT LES SPORTSMAN LUCAS OIL ASE, LES REV-STAR ET LES PILOTES ANCA SERONT DE LA PARTIE

St-Eustache, 29 mai 2013. Un programme des plus complets est à l'horaire de l'Autodrome St-Eustache, ce samedi premier juin.

En plus des pilotes de la Série ACT qui, suite aux caprices de dame nature, entameront finalement leur saison 2013 à l'ASE (Voir communiqué de la série ACT), il y aura également au programme les pilotes de la Série Rev-Star qui seront de la partie. Il sera intéressant de voit comment le jeune Dave Coursol, un ex-pilote en Sport-Compacte et Sportsman à l'ASE, se tirera d'affaire avec sa nouvelle monture dans cette très rapide série.

En ce qui concerne les divisions ANCA de l'ASE, la lutte reprendra de plus belle en Sportsman Lucas Oil, alors que Jean-François Bouvrette, le gagnant du programme d'ouverture officielle de la saison, tenu le 18 mai dernier, tentera d'accentuer son avance au premier rang du championnat. Il faudra cependant surveiller les Aubin et Demers qui sont à ses trousses, et Martin Lacombe qui a joué de malchance, ayant été impliqué dans un accident qui a ruiné sa première course de la saison. On devrait également assister à l'arrivée de nouveaux pilotes dont les bolides n'étaient pas encore prêts le 18 mai. Parmi ceux-ci, les organisateurs espèrent l'arrivée de l'ex- champion Guy Jubinville, ainsi que Steve Ladouceur de St-Agathe, Patrick Leporé et Jérôme Laporte, entre autres.

En Sport Compacte, la classe majeure en 4 cylindres, Yannick Miron, Patrick Boucher, Stéphane Gauvreau, Maxime Gauvreau et les autres reprendront la lute de plus belle. On pourrait également assister à une visite inattendue du retraité multiple-champion Steve Ladouceur qui sortirait de sa retraite en acceptant l'invitation de Benoît Ayotte à piloter la voiture #17.

De leur côté, es pilotes Stéphane Caron, le Laval, Jocelyn Turcotte de Gatineau et les autres réguliers de la division Légende Modifiée sont fermement résolus à mettre un terme à la domination de l'ancien signaleur Stéphane Aubin de Boisbriand qui s'est encore illustré lors du dernier programme en remportant la finale de sa division.

En Grand Régional David Joseph, de Blainville, tentera de répéter son exploit de la dernière course en remportant la finale. Hani Chiniara, le # 64 de Ville St-Laurent est cependant déterminé à ne pas s'en laisser imposer. Pour sa part, le vétéran Claude Boucher, de Pierrefonds qui a subi une intervention chirurgicale au cours de la semaine devrait manquer à l'appel avec la voiture #48.

Le vétéran Pierre Duguay, de Deux-Montagnes et gagnant de la dernière finale en Challenge 4 avec sa voiture #31, qui semble être sortie de sa léthargie y sera également pour affronter la meute de jeunes loups de la division de la relève, les Challenge 4 Meilleur Ramoneur.

Additionné à la finale de 100 tours de la Série ACT, de la présence des Rev Star et des cinq divisions locales de l'Autodrome St-Eustache, les amateurs de course devraient assister à tout un programme rempli d'action, ce samedi.

Pour l'occasion, les puits ouvriront à 14h00 et le prix d'entrée a été fixé à 30$ pour les adultes, 15$ pour les 13 à 17 ans, tandis que les enfants de 12 ans et moins seront accueillis gratuitement, comme à l'accoutumée. Pour ce qui est des puits, le prix sera de 35$ pour les adultes et les 0-17 ans (une nouveauté) seront admis dans les puits pour la somme de 20$.

ARCA to make first appearance at Road America, SCOTT 160 coming June 22

Lorenzen, Waltrip, Schrader, Bowsher, Allgaier all former ARCA road course winners

(TEMPERANCE, Mich.) - The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards has often been regarded as one of the most versatile touring series in the world. From Daytona to the dirt, from some classic short tracks to the finest superspeedways, the series has been crisscrossing America for 61 years and counting.

The longstanding stock car tour has also been turning right, as well as left, since the 1950s when it made its first appearance on a road course outside of Chicago. Since then, ARCA has staged 16 road course races over the years on a wide variety of circuits across America.

ARCA's rich road course tradition will soon continue with a first-ever visit to the renowned Road America road course in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin June 22. The event, the inaugural SCOTT 160, will serve as the preamble for the same-day NASCAR Nationwide Series Johnsonville Sausage 200.

ARCA made its road course debut on the old Meadowdale Raceway road course in Carpentersville, Illinois in 1958. In fact, with the exception of the decade of the 1970s, there's been a road course on the ARCA schedule in every decade since its existence. And the list of ARCA road course winners over the years is impressive to say the least.

NASCAR legend Fred Lorenzen won that inaugural 220-mile road course event at Meadowdale on October 19, 1958. Two more events at Meadowdale would follow on August 14th, 1960 when Nelson Stacy, from the pole, steered his way into Victory Lane in the 250-mile race; and then again on July 19, 1964 when Elmer Musgrave, in a Mercury, drove to winner's circle in the 250-mile race. The now defunct Meadowdale course featured an extremely high-banked corner that greeted drivers just past the start-finish line. From there, the course flattened out into a series of right- and left-hand turns, dips and curves that wrapped through the heavily wooded and rural area around Carpentersville.

In between the Meadowdale shows, the series made one stop at Virginia Int'l Raceway on April 1, 1962 where Curtis Turner won the 250-mile race in a Ford.

The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course showed up on the schedule in 1965 with three-time series champion Jack Bowsher driving to Victory Lane in the 250-mile race on July 25.

It would not be until May 18, 1986 before another road course event made its way onto the schedule at the now defunct St. Louis Int'l Raceway outside St. Louis. Bob Schacht won the 200-lap race over Bob Keselowski and Bob Brevak, during which 13 lead changes among four drivers mixed it up along the way.

The Heartland Park road course in Topeka, Kansas hosted two ARCA races in the early 90s where Ken Schrader, from the pole, won the Wendy's Big Classic 100 lap race on August 5, 1991. Eight-time Daytona winner Bobby Gerhart finished fourth with Frank Kimmel, making his road course debut, finishing seventh. Dale Earnhardt, Sr, making a rare ARCA appearance, finished 30th after an accident on lap 14 eliminated him from contention. The other race at Heartland Park happened on August 2, 1991 when NASCAR champion Darrell Waltrip won the 121-lap race.

The Des Moines Grand Prix was the next road course event on the schedule on July 3, 1994. Scott Lagasse, Sr. held off Kimmel and Jimmy Spencer to win the 75-lap race through the downtown streets of Des Moines. Former NFL head coach Jerry Glanville finished ninth. Michael Waltrip is shown as the 14th place finisher.

Watkins Glen Int'l hosted the next ARCA road course event on July 7. John Finger won a nail-biter over Blaise Alexander, Kimmel, Robert Burroughs and Art Cross, completing the top-five.

While ARCA's road course schedule paused for seven years, it jumped right back on in 2008 when the New Jersey Motorsports Park invited ARCA out for the inaugural New Jersey ARCA 150, a race won by 2008 ARCA champion and current NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Justin Allgaier.

From there, road course racing has become a staple on the ARCA tour with annual events at New Jersey where Patrick Long, Casey Roderick, and Andrew Ranger also etched their names into the ARCA history books as road course winners. Ranger, from Roxton Pond, Quebec, has won in consecutive seasons at New Jersey, outdueling Chase Elliott on the final lap in 2012.

The Palm Beach Int'l Raceway road course also hosted an ARCA road course race in 2010 where Justin Marks won on Hoosier rain tires during a downpour.

Rain or shine, the inaugural SCOTT 160 at Road America for the ARCA Racing Series is ready to set sail on June 22 alongside the NASCAR Nationwide Series for an action-packed stock car double header on the renowned Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin road course.

Practice for the SCOTT 160 is from 3:05-5:30 p.m. Friday, June 21. Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell is scheduled to take place Saturday morning at 9:05 a.m.with the SCOTT 160 to follow at 12:45.

Delaware Speedway is flooding the London area with 50% off admission coupons for use at this Friday's Exeter Toyota Night. Over 180,000 coupons will be distributed in print covering nearly every household in London. As well as printed coupons being distributed, the track is making a special online coupon code available which can be used to buy and print tickets online at half price with no service fees. The coupon code will be sent out through the track's website, facebook, and twitter feed. Friday's event features local racing and Delaware's famous King of the Hill Spectator's Race.

"We want to share what we do at Delaware Speedway with as many people as possible," said track PR director John Houghton. "Many people in the area are still unaware of the great attraction so close to home. We're asking everyone to share this coupon with their friends, neighbours, and family. Never in recent memory has Delaware Speedway put out a coupon offer this good to this many people."

Highlighting Friday's lineup is the Coca-Cola Super Stock Invitational which invites drivers from across the region to join in competition with our home track drivers. The event is run in twin 35-lap segments but is considered to be one race. The winner of last year's invitational was Shawn Chenoweth (#89) of Flamboro Speedway. Running between the two 35-lap segments will be the Demar Aggregates Trucks making their second start of the season.

The night also features the track's legendary King of the Hill Spectator's racing in support of Jesse's Journey. King of the Hill Spectator's Racing allows spectators to enter their own street legal, street driven vehicles in one-on-one fun single-lap races around the legendary half-mile speedway at Delaware.

Spectator gates open on Friday at 6:00 pm, racing starts at the track's new Friday start time of7:30 pm. The track is encouraging spectators who are planning ahead to skip the ticket windows and purchase tickets online in advance using the coupon code RACEDAY. There are no service fees for online purchases.

===SATURDAY NIGHT===

Racing will continue on Saturday night when the Enduro & Bone Stock Chaos Cars hit the track sponsored by All-Round Truck and Auto Care. The event will feature a refreshed lineup with some adjustments from the season opener. The adjustments include a tighter distance for the Enduro series, a forty-lap race for the Bone Stocks, and the Ladies Bone Stock event being run as part of the regular program. Saturday's races start at 7:00 pm. The event also features the debut of a number of new Bone Stock Chaos Cars which will see some of Delaware's top drivers behind the wheel in vehicles prepared by students at local high school students. Weekend camping is available at the track free of charge with event admission.

Already great value for your entertainment dollar, Peterborough Speedway will host the year's first Toonie Admission/Fan Appreciation Night – presented by Pepsi –Saturday, June 1^st. Adult grandstand admission for a full night of racing action on Canada's Toughest 1/3^rd Mile Oval will be just $ 2.00, with kids 8 and under free. Track owner/promoter J.P. The year's first Toonie Admission/Fan Appreciation Night – presented by Pepsi – Saturday, June 1^st will see the pit gates open at 3:00, with grandstand access at 5:00. Racing starts at 6:00.

Short track Saturday Night: A Chase for the Colours Pole Qualifying Event, presented by Lucas Oil Products – with 75 lap Late Model, 25 lap Four Fun, 30 lap Mini Stock and 40 lap Thunder Car features – is on the agenda for a2:30 green flag Sunday, June 30^th. The winner of each main event will earn the pole position for their respective feature race during the 21^st Annual Autumn Colours Classic, October 11^th to 13^th.

EAST MONTPELIER, Vt. – Emily Packard of East Montpelier, Vt., returns to her home track for a NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 35-lap Late Model feature at Canaan Fair Speedway in Canaan, N.H., on Saturday, June 1. Despite setting the fastest time in all three practice sessions on opening day at the track, Packard was caught up in an on-track incident and finished 13th on Saturday, May 18. Packard looks to rebound this weekend and climb back into track championship contention.

Emily Packard became the first woman in a decade to win a feature event at Thunder Road International Speedbowl when she won a Street Stock feature at the track last summer.
Emily Packard was voted the 2012 Vermont Motorsports Magazine Rookie of the Year, and she was also named the Vermont Sportswriters & Sportscasters Association Athlete of the Month for August 2012.
Emily Packard was one of 36 Late Model drivers from across the northeast and Canada invited to participate in the ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway during the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Sylvania 300 weekend last September.
Emily Packard Motorsports crew chief Neal Woodward is a five-time ACT Late Model Tour champion crew chief whose cars set track qualifying records at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.

EMILY PACKARD, Driver of the No. 9x Northstar Fireworks/Berlin Optical Expressions Chevrolet, On rebounding from a disappointing night last time out at Canaan Fair Speedway: "I'm really excited to go back and redeem myself. I've calmed down a lot since everything happened, and all my hot-headedness is gone. I feel like once a year I have a race where I drive like an idiot, and I look at it like I got it done early this year.

"The car was so awesome all day, even after we had three-quarters of a car left in the race. The car was flying. It was still fast after everything that happened. Now that we've had a race under our belt, hopefully everybody will have a good race this weekend and we'll get a good result."

On how she approaches the race this weekend: "'I'm going to have to go in looking at the bigger picture. I know I said that before – but as soon as I got there and was on top of the speed charts all day, I got impatient and I made stupid decisions. I know that I made mistakes and I'm going to take responsibility for that and not blame all the other drivers.

"This time I really do mean it when I say I'm looking at the big picture."

On her comfort level at Canaan: "Canaan has been my home all along. It's always been my fall-back track. You hold onto that kind of stuff. I was testing it at Canaan when I was 14. It's always been my home, and I've put a lot of laps in around that place. We feel really comfortable there.

"Everybody looks at Thunder Road as our home track, because it's only 15 minutes from home, but it's not. I'm working up to that, but I'm not as comfortable there yet. Canaan is the place I consider my home."

Emily Packard will tackle a tripleheader of Late Model racing next weekend, Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9... Packard will run the second leg of the Vermont State Championship Late Model Series – the People's United Bank 100 – at Devil's Bowl Speedway in West Haven, Vt., on Friday, head to Canaan Fair Speedway for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series on Saturday and then return to Thunder Road International Speedbowl for the start of weekly competition there on Sunday afternoon.

Reserve Tickets Go On Sale for ACT International 500

Waterbury, VT – Reserved-seat tickets for the American Canadian Tour Inaugural International 500 stock car race at Plattsburgh, NY's Airborne Speedway on Sunday, July 21 are now available to buy at ACT's Waterbury, VT Office.

Reserve-seat tickets are $40 each and will claim a spot in one of the top five rows in Airborne Speedway's East and West Grandstands for the Sunday, July 21 main event. The $40 covers the reservation of the seat, and admission for Sunday's events. More information on advance general admission tickets will be out in the coming weeks.

The International 500's $140,000 purse is the largest of any stock car race in the area, and has seen entries from Late Models all throughout the northeastern US and eastern Canada.The race will be comprised of three 100-lap segments for Late Models with field inversions after each segment. The driver with the lowest overall score after the three segments will be the winner. Also featured will be Twin 50s for Airborne's headline Modified division, as well as their local Renegade, Limited Late Model, Mini-mod, and Sportsman divisions. The International 500 will also include a 100-lap Reserve Feature for non-qualified Late Models that will offer a regular American Canadian Tour-style purse with $3,000 to win.

AU PROGRAMME, EN PLUS DES PILOTES ACT CASTROL LES SPORTSMAN LUCAS OIL ASE, LES REV-STAR ET LES PILOTES ANCA SERONT DE LA PARTIE

St-Eustache, 28 mai 2013. Un programme des plus complets est au programme à l'Autodrome St-Eustache ce samedi 1^er juin.

En plus des pilotes de la Série ACT Castrol qui, suite aux caprices de dame nature, entameront finalement leur saison 2013 à l'ASE (Voir communiqué de la série ACT), il y aura également au programme les pilotes de la Série Rev-Star qui seront de la partie. Il sera intéressant de voit comment le jeune Dave Coursol, un ex-pilote en Sport-Compacte et Sportsman, à l'ASE, se tirera d'affaire avec sa nouvelle monture dans cette très rapide série.

De leur côté, es pilotes Stéphane Caron, le Laval, Jocelyn Turcotte de Gatineau et les autres réguliers de la division Légende Modifiée sont fermement résolus à mettre un terme à la domination de l'ancien signaleur Stéphane Aubin, de Boisbriand, qui s'est encore illustré lors du dernier programme en remportant la finale de sa division.

Le vétéran Pierre Duguay, de Deux-Montagnes et gagnant de la dernière finale en Challenge 4 avec sa voiture #31, qui semble être sortie de sa létargie y sera également pour affronter la meute de jeunes loups de la division de la relève, les Challenge 4 Meilleur Ramoneur.

Additionné à la finale de 100 tours de la Série Castrol ACT , de la présence des Rev Star et des 5 divisions locales de l'Autodrome St-Eustache, les amateurs de course devraient assister à tout un programme rempli d'action, ce samedi 1^er juin.

Pour l'occasion, les puits ouvriront à 14h00 et le prix d'entrée a été fixé à 30$ pour les adultes, 15$ pour les 13 à 17 ans, tandis que les enfants de 12 ans et moins seront accueillis gratuitement, comme à l'accoutumée. Pour ce qui est des puits, le prix sera de 35$ pour les adultes et les 0-17 ans (une nouveauté) seront admis dans les puits pour la somme de 20$.

Ouverture de la saison 2013 de Champagne Motorsports

L'entre-saison semblait interminable mais finalement, la saison 2013 s'amorçait ce samedi 18 mai à l'Autodrome St-Eustache. Après avoir travaillé plusieurs heures pour préparer la voiture en vue de la première course, nous savions déjà que les performances de l'Acura Integra #11 allaient être meilleures que par le passé.

Dans la qualification qui déterminait notre place de départ sur la grille, nous avons finalement bataillé pour une position avec une autre voiture, chose qui n'a pu être faite en 2012. Un léger problème d'adhérence qui fut réglé avant la finale nous a empêché de gagner des positions en qualification mais pendant la finale, tout s'est passé autrement!

Partant de la 13e position, nous avons gagné deux positions en seulement 5 tours. Une tentative de dépassement ratée sur une autre voiture nous a envoyé dans les débris et la poussière près du mur du droit avant et une touchette avec le mur nous a fait retraiter aux puits avec une roue brisée mais un sentiment de devoir accompli vu le bon comportement de la voiture versus les déboires de 2012.
