Seventh at Ohsweken and second a Brockville...
Saint-Pie, QC ... Alain Bergeron and his team competed in two races this weekend with the drivers of the Patriot Sprint Tour series. Friday night (June 20th), the driver of St. Pie was in Niagara, ON at the Ohsweken Speedway and finished seventh in the A-Main. Starting in fourth in his heat race, he won the race to qualify for the A-Main. Second on the starting grid, the settings had not allowed him to have a car more competitive.
The next day, Saturday, June 21st, it was a different story at Brockville, ON. By winning his heat race, the Quebec driver was awarded second place in A-Main starting grid. It is this second place that he finished the race, but without giving a hard time to the leader and pole sitter. At each restart of the race, Bergeron came right side by side by attempting using the inside. While all drivers used the top of the track, the only way to take control was to try inside. Bergeron tried everything and once again made the 'show' to the delight of the fans in the stands. So it was another good weekend for the 8B Transport Benoit Lafleur sponsored team.
Thank you for your support.
