PIT CREW CHALLENGE AND PARADE
HIGHLIGHTING BIG SPEEDWAY 51 CAR SHOW FINALE
You save the best for last, and that's what the staff at Speedway 51 in Groveton, New Hampshire has done, as the final pre-season car show will fill the streets of downtown Groveton, this Saturday, May 21st from 11am until 1pm.
Racers will start unloading their mounts at 10am and park them along State Street for the fans to enjoy. Expected to be on hand will be the North Country Ford Late Models, The Sign Depot Tigers, Pepsi /Schweppes Street Stocks, White Mountain Community College Pure Stocks, The AB Excavating Daredevils, North Country Family Restaurant Kids Go Karts, and the beautiful North Country Ford Mustang pace car.
Judging of the racecars will be going on throughout the show, and the winners will be revealed on Saturday, June 11th. At noon the first ever Pit Stop Contest will take place. The event will feature 2015 championship crews competing against each other in a timed event. The competing teams include Late Model champ Jeff Marshall, Tiger kingpin, Brendan Moodie, Street Stock mogul, Jean Leblanc and Daredevil title holder, Kasey Beattie.
At 1pm the racecars will form a parade that will travel through town, then along Route 3 to Brown Road. The cars will complete their journey at Speedway 51. Tech and pictures will follow the parade from 1:30 to 2:30pm, and then practice for all cars that were in attendance at the car show will take place from 3-6pm. The car show is free to all, and there will be free admission to the grandstands to watch practice.
Don't miss out on any of the family fun at the final car show for Speedway 51 this season. Fans of all ages will have chances to win race tickets for the NAPA Spectacular on May 28th featuring the Valenti Modified Racing Series, as well as free tickets to regular events.
