Poussières de piste... / Track notes...
- Entendu sur radio: Tom Curley, qui vient tout juste d'apprendre que Ralph Nason est aux commandes du pace car, lui lance un avertissement de faire attention à sa voiture... et lui rappelle qu'il n'est pas dans la course.
- Le sourire des plus jeunes et leurs mots d'encouragement pour la voiture de Flash McQueen sur la piste (voiture de Marc-André Cliche).
- Le bon déroulement du programme, malgré quelques ratés lors du lancement de l'épreuve.
- Monsieur Curley, parlez-vous français? Pas de problème, il sort ses "diecast" pour expliquer la procédure des relances de l'épreuve. Les gars ont bien compris... quelle belle discipline pour les redéparts.
- Trois moteurs ont été saisi pour inspection. Soit les moteurs de : Alexandre Gingras, Marc-André Cliche et Jean-François Déry.
- Theetge, Leclerc, Gingras et Allard allaient beaucoup mieux que dans les épreuves en sol américain. Ont-ils trouvés les bons réglages?
- Si ont avait à distribuer le "Goody's headache award" Jacques Laperle serait surement le grand gagnant. Les gars ont travaillés forts, ils avaient une bonne voiture mais un incident au tout premier tour a mis fin à leur quête.
- Bravo Yvon! Toute un début de saison pour le Monsieur Cookie-Bédard. Nu été des problèmes avec la table du bas, qui sait ou tu aurais fini.
- Martin Lacombe doit être content d'avoir épluché les gremlins cette semaine. Cela lui permettra d'être à son meilleur devant ses partisants à St-Eustache la semaine prochaine.
- Welcome to Québec! Sean MacPherson de Carleton Place, Ontario (en banlieu d'Ottawa) est le seul "non québécois" à avoir tenté sa chance. Notons la présence de Tom Kenyon dans son puit.

- On the radio: Tom Curley, who just learned Ralph Nason is driving the pace car, saying to Ralph not to scratch her up and to remember he is not in the race.
- The smiles on the kid's faces as they saw and cheered for the Flash McQueen paint livery of Marc-André Cliche's car.
- Thank you! For a beautiful sunny day at the races. A good race and a fast paced day (except for the early race restarts).
- Monsieur Curley, parlez-vous français? Trying to explain to the French competitors his restart procedure, Curley asked for visual aids... two "diecast" cars and proceeded to show them how he wanted them to line up. It worked. Only side-by-side restarts during the race.
- Three engines were seized by ACT Officials for tear down as they did not have an ACT approved seal. Those were the engines of : Alexandre Gingras, Marc-André Cliche and Jean-François Déry.
- If we had to appoint a "Goody's headache" award recipient, it would certainly go to Jacques Laperle. After working very hard on Friday to iron out brake issues, his race ended without a lap on the scoreboard when he damaged his radiator.
- Bravo Yvon! What a way to start the year by the Cookie-Monster-Bédard. Had it not been for a problem with the lower strut who knows what the outcome could of been.
- Martin Lacombe must be satisfied with the fact that he found a number of gremlins and fixed them this weekend rather than next. As he will be in front of his home crowd.
- Welcome to Québec! Sean MacPherson of Carleton Place, Ontario (Ottawa suburb) is the only non quebec driver to have tied his luck at the Montmagny race. Lets note Tom Kenyon trackside in his pit.

Thank you for your efforts on behalf of ACT. I have enjoyed reading your review of the ACT season. Your positive input and reporting will help racing in both the ACT TOUR in the US and the SERIE ACT Castrol in Quebec.
