| Rappelons que lundi le pilote de Saint-Pie était à Can Am Lafargeville NY avec la série All Star 410 et il a ouvert bien des yeux alors qu'il a réalisé le meilleur temps chronométré, et ce, devant des pilotes de la trempe de Tim Shaffer, Fred Rahmer, Doug Esh, Mark Smith et le champion NASCAR Tony Stewart. Une sixième place en course de qualification lui octroyait une place en finale A-Main. Quatrième sur la grille de départ en finale, Bergeron s'accapara du troisième rang dès le départ, mais au fur et à mesure que la course progressait, il rétrograda à cause d'un pneu qui se dégradait. Il passa le quadrillé en dixième place. La soirée était tout de même un succès, encore une Xe fois, le pilote québécois établissait une première. A sixth place finish in his heat race earned him a spot in the A-main race. Fourth on the starting grid, Bergeron found himself in third place on the start, but as the race progressed, he lost positions because of a tire that was degraded.
