Hoar, Cyr and NHMS Honored at ACT/Thunder Road Banquet of Champions

South Burlington, VT – American Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Model stock car Champion Brian Hoar of Williston was honored for his sixth career ACT Late Model Tour Championship on Saturday, January 16 at the Sheraton-Burlington Hotel and Conference Center in South Burlington, VT. Hoar currently holds the record for the most career wins in ACT Late Model Tour history with 25, including back-to-back wins at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway and Waterford Speedbowl in 2010.  These wins, plus 11 top tens in 13 starts, helped Hoar edge out runner-up Scott Payea. Hoar was joined by over 500 teams, fans and officials as he celebrated his first championship with new car owner Rick Paya. Paya also has previous ACT Tour championships as a crew chief and car owner with Jean-Paul Cyr.

The 41st Annual MacTavish Award was given to New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) for their contribution to Northeast stock car racing. The prestigious MacTavish Award is named for legendary New England racer Don MacTavish who was killed in 1969 while racing at Daytona International Speedway. In 2010, NHMS hosted the first annual ACT Invitational, which invited 36 of the best Late Model competitors from around the region. It was the showcase event for ACT Late Model competition during the 2010 season.

Thunder Road International Speedbowl crowned Milton’s Jean-Paul Cyr as the 2009 50th Anniversary Season “King of the Road.” The seven-time ACT Late Model Tour Champion took a break from the touring scene in 2009 and set his sights on the 50th Anniversary Season title. He joined forces with car owner Joey Laquerre and crew chief Jeff Laquerre. Cyr used his Times Argus Mid-Season Championship win to beat “Senator” Phil Scott for the championship.

The NAPA Tiger Sportsman title went to Williamstown’s Jimmy Hebert in just his third season. Hebert also scored the first feature win of his career in 2009. The 2009 Tiger Sportsman Tri-State Series Championship was won by Morrisonville, New York’s Shawn Duquette. Duquette tied Jason Bonnett for the title, but used his two victories to win the tie breaker. Veteran Gary Mullen of Tunbridge took the top Allen Lumber Street Stock honors. Donnie Yates of North Montpelier won the Power Shift Junkyard Warriors title.

Over $85,000 plus trophies were awarded to the top teams in all divisions of Thunder Road and the ACT Tours for their efforts during the 2009 season.

The second annual ACT Crew Chief of the Year Award went to John Doiron. Doiron was the crew chief for his son, Joey, who won the ACT Rookie of the Year Award for 2009. John was recognized for his hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and attitude on the ACT Tour and the continual improvement of the Berwick, Maine Doiron race team.

A new award was created this year in memory of Pete Hartt, who covered the American-Canadian Tour and Thunder Road during his time with WDEV Radio and as the sports editor for the Times Argus. The Pete Hartt Memorial Media Award was presented to WCAX sports anchor Seth Leavitt for his support of regional stock car racing.

Troy Germain, “The Voice of ACT” from St. Johnsbury received the Ken Squier Award. Germain was presented the award for his hard work and dedication as the ACT Tour and Thunder Road announcer.

The Gordon R. Nielsen Rookie Achievement Award went to Hyde Park’s Tucker Williams. Williams is the 2009 Allen Lumber Street Stock Rookie of the Year and led the division with four wins. His first career feature win came on opening day of 2009 in his first feature start. Other rookies that qualified for the award were from the ACT Tour, Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine along with Thunder Road Late Models, Dylan Smith from Randolph and NAPA Tiger Sportsman, Erik Steel of Barre.

Sportsmanship and Most Improved driver awards were presented for all divisions based on driver and official voting. ACT Late Model Tour winners were Chip Grenier of Graniteville for the Sportsmanship Award and Graniteville’s John Donahue for Most Improved. Thunder Road Late Model awards went to Brooks Clark from Fayston for Sportsman and Cambridge’s Craig Bushey for Most Improved. The Thunder Road Sportsman awards were presented to Wolcott’s Brendan Moodie for Sportsmanship and Bradford’s Derrick O’Donnell for Most Improved.

The Ed Carroll Memorial Award for Sportsmanship in the Street Stocks was awarded to Craftsbury’s Mike Martin. The Junkyard Warrior Sportsmanship Award was given to Cabot’s Ken Christman.

The 2010 ACT Late Model Tour season will kick off on Sunday, April 18 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH. Thunder Road will open its gates for the first time on Sunday, May 2 for the 12th annual Merchants Bank 150. Un nouvel adepte de Revstar ABF

Daniel Nadeau de Marieville se joint au championnat Revstar ABF pour la saison 2010. Après avoir participé à trois championnats de Karting en 2009, notamment en Coupe de l'Est au volant d'un kart 125 shifter et en formule Master, en plus de prendre part à la Coupe Montréal en Formule Master. Daniel est un excellent pilote, puisqu'il s'est classé dans chacun des championnats en 2e place. Un bel exploit !

 

 

 

Un autre candidat qui viendra défier nos meilleurs

Bien qu'il a eu beaucoup de satisfaction à se mesurer en piste avec d'autres pilotes d'expérience, il n'était plus entièrement satisfait d'évoluer en karting, il cherchait un nouveau défi. Nous lui avons proposé de faire un essais à bord d'une voiture Revstar ABF et il est tombé en amour avec ces bolides. Voilà ce qui correspond à ses aspirations.

Comme il a toujours évolué sur des circuits routiers en asphalte lorsqu'il pilotait en Karting, on lui a fait vivre une nouvelle expérience de pilotage en lui faisant faire quelques essais sur un ovale de terre battue. Daniel a été immédiatement conquis par le plaisir de mettre la voiture en travers dans des dérapages contrôlés tout en poussant à fond avec la sensation d'être toujours à la limite. Cette nouvelle expérience l'a convaincu d'acheter son propre bolide pour participer à la saison 2010.

 

Le pilote de Marieville devrait faire des essais en février sur un circuit de glace. Il est anxieux d'essayer sa nouvelle voiture de course pour faire des tours chronométrés "lapping" afin d'aquérir un peu d'expérience avant le début de la saison.

Daniel est propriétaire de la rotisserie St-Hubert à Marieville situé près de l'autoroute 10. Si vous avez l'occasion de vous y rendre, prenez le temps de lui parler de la série Revstar ABF ! St-Hubert sera d'ailleurs le commanditaire qui sera affiché sur son bolide.


Quelques nouvelles en bref :

Nous devrions annoncer notre calendrier de la saison 2010 vers le milieu de février prochain. Nous avons 75% des dates de confirmées, et on finalise d'autres dossiers.


On est au travail chez Revstar, car plusieurs pilotes ont passé des commandes pour avoir des carosseries neuves pour débuter la saison.

Nous pensons être en mesure d'organiser quelques jours d'essais sur glace en février, comme le souhaite plusieurs propriétaires de bolides Revstar ABF.

Une personne locale (Vermont) s'offre une équipe NASCAR Sprint

Mon collègue et bon ami Justin St-Louis de Vermont Motorsport Magazine (http://vtmotormag.blogspot.com) annonce que Bill Jenkins vient de se porter acquéreur de l’équipe #26 de Rousch-Fenway.

 

Jenkins, un homme d’affaire originaire de New York s’est établi dans le Vermont il y a déjà quelques années, 1990, il y possède une résidence à West Wardsboro, VT et une autre dans le Maine.

 

L’équipe #26 Sprint-Cup était piloté par Jamie McMurray, les voitures, le numéro, les ateliers… toute l’opération finalement passe aux mains de Jenkins.

 

Jenkins profite, dans la foulée des compressions exigée par NASCAR, de la limite du nombre de voiture par écurie (fixée à 4).

 

Il a déjà embauché Frank Stoddard, originaire de North Haverhill, NH. à titre de chef-d’équipe et qui compte 17 victoire en Coupe Sprint à son palmarès.

 

Propriétaire avec son épouse, de Latitude 43, une compagnie de savon organique, il dit compter sur la participation imminente de commanditaires non-conventionnel pour supporter son équipe qui est assurée de participer aux cinq premières épreuves de 2010 et débutant par le Daytona 500.

Airborne, CVRA Lead Asphalt Modified Racing Expansion

    South Plattsburgh, NY – The Champlain Valley Racing Association (CVRA), which
owns and operates Albany-Saratoga Speedway in Malta, NY and Devil's Bowl Speedway in
West Haven, VT announced at its 2010 rules meeting that it will implement Airborne
Speedway's Modified rules and participate in a six-race Modified series with two events at
each track.

 

    "The first event of the Series will be at Albany-Saratoga on Sunday, April 25 as a
part of a card that will include an American Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Model event," CVRA
promoter Bruce Richards said.
    The conversion of the CVRA tracks from dirt to asphalt in 2010 has sparked interest
throughout the northeast. "This is a validation of the efforts we've made at Airborne to turn
it into a successful family entertainment facility," Airborne promoter Mike Perrotte said. "To
have two quality race tracks in our region make the effort to promote asphalt racing with
DIRT-style Modifieds as their headline division should be a plus for everybody. We are
working on finalizing our 2010 schedule and selecting dates for the two series races."
    Airborne and Albany-Saratoga have both scheduled 2010 special events for two well-
established open-wheel asphalt tours, the International SuperModified Association (ISMA)
and the Modified Racing Series.
    Airborne hosts the ISMA Supers Saturday, July 17. The Modified Racing Series,
formerly known as the True Value Modified Racing Series, will appear at Airborne Saturday,
May 29.
    "We've widened the backstretch at Albany-Saratoga by 10 feet and we're going to
use the best pavement money can buy," Richards said. "We're entering a new decade and a
new era. We will be offering fans in the Capital District more choices than before. We owe a
special thanks to Mike Perrotte for his co-operation, interest and effort."
    Airborne's 57th season opener is set for Saturday, May 1. Martin Roy of Napierville,
QC, will begin defense of his 2009 Ernie's Tools Modified championship.

Circuit Ste-Croix / Riverside Speedway - Réunion plus qu'importante pour tous les pilotes des classes locales.

40e anniversaire du circuit Ste-Croix/Riverside Speedway

 

                           

(Ste-Croix-de-Lotbinière, Qc.11-01-10) – Ce n’est plus un secret, le circuit Ste-Croix/Riverside Speedway s’apprête à célébrer en grandes pompes sa 40e année d’existence en proposant aux amateurs de sports motorisés, un calendrier d’activités plus qu’imposant en 2010.

 

Afin de ne pas rater cette saison, la première sous la direction de monsieur Sylvain Brouillette, le nouveau directeur général, on a décidé de mettre les chances de son bord pour en assurer le succès. On sait qu’actuellement, la course de stock-car la plus importante aura lieu le 14 août alors que pilotes américains et canadiens croiseront le fer dans une confrontation de 200 tours dotée d’une bourse globale de plus de 40 000 $.

 

 

Cependant, avant d’élaborer un calendrier définitif avec des précisions sur chaque programme, car il y en aura plus de 60, plus diversifiés les uns des autres au cours du prochain calendrier, il a été d’inscrire à l’horaire une première réunion concernant tous les pilotes des classes locales offertes par le circuit Ste-Croix/Riverside Speedway et qui voudraient le devenir. Cette rencontre plus qu’importante se tiendra au restaurant Royalco de Laurier Station (104 rue Olivier sud), le dimanche 24 janvier dès 10 h 00.

 

Cette invitation est lancée aux coureurs des classes Kamikaze, Sport Compacte, Racer 350 Limité et Super Truck. Il sera très important d’y être présent ou d’y être représenté, car c’est de là que l’on décidera les catégories qui seront disponibles en 2010. Bien entendu, on exigera une participation d’un minimum de douze participants dans chacune d’elles pour entretenir un challenge intéressant pour les amateurs tout au long de la saison 2010. Cela fait partie des standards de qualité de la nouvelle direction du circuit Ste-Croix/Riverside Speedway.

 

Au cours de cette rencontre, on y présentera un calendrier provisoire, les procédures de course que l’on entend suivre, un survol sur la réglementation et le plus important, on procédera à l’inscription des pilotes, et ce, dans chacune des catégories.

 

Cabana en piste

Ne reculant devant rien afin de développer la relève, une entente a été conclue avec le légendaire Jean-Paul Cabana qui depuis quelques années offre des cours de pilotage sur le triovale de Sanair. Caban sera donc disponible pour tous les aspirants pilotes de l’est du Québec et il sera secondé par nul autre que Dany Gagnon de DGR Racing pour la réalisation de ce projet.

 

Le circuit Ste-Croix/Riverside Speedway et DGR Racing feront l’acquisition de voitures et des équipements afin d’assurer un service de qualité à sa clientèle qui sera sans aucune en croissance vertigineuse en 2010.

 

Tout comme cela existe présentement à Sanair, des cours de pilotage et des forfaits corporatifs seront disponibles, mais la direction est ouverte à toutes propositions de la clientèle. Lorsque son calendrier le permettra, Cabana sera sur place pour dispenser la formation en compagnie de Dany Gagnon et de d’autres pilotes formateurs. C’est plus particulièrement sur semaine que ce service sera offert, mais quelques fins de semaine ont également été prévues.

 

On présume que ce nouveau service sera très populaire et l’on invite les principaux intéressés à communiquer avec Dany Gagnon au 418-839-9923 qui se fera un plaisir de vous informer et de prendre vos réservations. Qui profitera de cette chance inouïe d’effectuer quelques tours de son tracé préféré avec Jean-Paul Cabana comme pilote, un rêve qui peut maintenant revenir réalité.

Canadian Drivers Preparing For 2010 Airborne Season

Two Canadian DIRTcar Modified veterans, Richard Tisseur and Patrice McGrail have begun to prepare for the 2010 Airborne Speedway season in an attempt to deny countryman Martin Roy’s bid for a second straight Ernie’s Tools Modified championship.

Tisseur, 52, from Chateauguay, Quebec, will be entering his third full season on the Plattsburgh, NY progressively banked asphalt half-mile oval. His friend Patrice McGrail, 48, of Candiac, Quebec, is returning to a full-time open-wheel 358 Modified schedule after racing selected dirt track events at Cornwall and Autodrome Granby in 2009.

Tisseur had five top-5 finishes in 2009, including a second-place effort on Aird Dorrance Night when he trailed only Ernie’s Tools Modified champion Martin Roy of Napierville, Quebec. That night NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader was a part of the 26-car field. “This is the first time we have been able to go fast since I wrecked the car two weeks ago,” Tisseur said afterwards.

“We had a very good season last year,” Tisseur said. “It was the first year in the PMC chassis car that my crew chief Jacques Longtin helped me prepare for Airborne. Everyone had to work hard and change a lot of things to get their cars to go fast on the new pavement. Airborne is a very fine place to race. Mike (Perrotte) has done a very good job. There is a family atmosphere at the track. I race there for fun. If we win, that’s very good. If we finish 10th or 15th, that’s good too. I raced at Albany-Saratoga on the pavement last fall. The track is short, but very fast. I plan to race there for a few races this season in my Troyer back-up car.”

Tisseur is sponsored by Attaches Chateauguay, a trailer fabricator and manufacturer located in Ste-Catherine, Quebec and Robert Thibert Inc of Chateauguay. He began racing over 20 years ago at dirt tracks like Granby, Brockville and Cornwall. “I’m 52 years old,” Tisseur noted. “It’s too hard on me and on the car to race on dirt anymore. I’m happy to race at a track as good as Airborne.”

McGrail has purchased a new TEO chassis car and is awaiting delivery of an Enders engine for his 2010 Airborne entry, which will be sponsored by his Brossard, Quebec Mazda dealership and Fastenal. “I am negotiating with another sponsor and I hope to make an announcement about that before the season starts,” McGrail said. “I am looking forward to racing at Airborne. I test-drove Richard’s car there and I went to see two races. I recently bought some land in the Plattsburgh area too.”

McGrail started racing motocross as a teenager. He traveled worldwide on the Grand National Sports Truck Series in the eighties with the likes of Robby Gordon and Ivan “Ironman” Stewart and has raced Big-Block and 358 Modifieds at Autodrome Granby and Autodrome St-Eustache.

Former Alain Boisvert crew chiefs Yvon Perron and Leandre Laroche will be a part of McGrail’s team at Airborne.

Airborne’s 58th season opener is Saturday, May 1st.

Calendrier 2010 - Série SuperSportsman Québec Lucas Oil


La Série SuperSportsman Québec Lucas Oil a publié un nouveau calendrier 2010 qui affiche 12 courses au championnat des pilotes et qui se produiront sur quatre pistes du Québec. « Nous avons effectué deux changements afin de faciliter la tâche des pilotes, avec cette séquence ils n’auront pas à modifier le ratio du pont arrière, et les pistes concernées étaient heureuses du changement » déclara André Poulin.

En plus des 12 course, les pilotes se disputerons la course des étoiles qui se veut un « all star » pour lequel les pilotes qui remporteront des victoires ou qui se classeront parmi les premiers des championnats prendront part à cette finale disputée à l’Autodrome Chaudière.

Récemment ont apprenait l’intention de divisé le groupe en deux catégories, soit celle Élite et celle Intermédiaire. « Ceci permettra de faire courir tous les pilotes qui se présenteront, aucun d’eux sera sur la remorque lors des finales comme fut le cas à chacune des épreuves à l’Autodrome Chaudière en 2009 » indiquait Poulin.

En plus de faire une finale pour chacune des catégories, le podium des pilotes Intermédiaire aura l’opportunité de retourner en piste avec les pilotes du groupe Élite et disputer une deuxième finale dans la soirée. Avec comme bénéfice encore plus de tours et la possibilité de se mesurer à des compétiteurs plus expérimentés. « C’est certains qu’à un endroit comme Riverside Speedway de Ste-Croix nous allons faire comme il se fait en circuit routier et faire courir les deux groupes ensemble, mais chacun d’eux recevra ses propres points et bourses » ajoutait Poulin.

Cette formule aura un autre bénéfice soit de permettre à des pilotes qui normalement serait classés en millieu de championnat de se disputer un titre tout en ayant le même équipement que le groupe Élite donc assurant une plus grande valeur de l'équipement de comptétition.

AMERICAN CANADIAN TOUR PAYS OUT $85,000 POINT FUND FOR 2009

        Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour (ACT) has announced that the total point fund awards for the 2009 season will total over $85,000. The annual Banquet of Champions will be held at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in So. Burlington, VT on January 16, 2010.

 

 

The ACT TOUR will honor the 2009 Championship team of Brian Hoar and owner/crew chief Rick Paya, who also owns RPM Engines in Georgia, VT. Hoar will celebrate his sixth American Canadian Tour title, and car owner, Rick Paya, will also celebrate his sixth ACT title, having won previous titles as crew chief and then owner of the only seven-time ACT winner in its 25-year history, Jean-Paul Cyr. The RPM team will receive $10,000 first place point money at the annual festivities for their efforts during the 2009 thirteen (13) race campaign.

 

“This past year was a whole lot of fun for RPM racing. We kind of struggled at the beginning of the season, but most of that was trying to figure out what each of us (Hoar and Paya) needed to be successful,” said Rick Paya. “Working with Brian was great, especially after we got things sorted out over the initial few weeks. We kind of entered the deal hoping to get immediate results, but I think our team is better off having to go through the learning curve we experienced. We really are excited about being together for next season, and winning the 25th anniversary title of ACT would be pretty meaningful for Brian and our entire team,” concluded Paya. Both Paya and Hoar have been supporters of the ACT Late Model program since its inception in 1992.

 

The Thunder Road “King of the Road” title chase was another blending of veteran teams. Ironically, Jean Cyr, who won all those championships with Paya, joined the most storied crew chief of the decade at Thunder Road, Jeff Laquerre, from Barre, VT. Laquerre and his veteran father, Joey Laquerre put together a new team with the sole purpose of winning the 50th anniversary title at Thunder Road. Jeff Laquerre led the Tracie Bellerose championship chase in 2000. She was the first female to win a major division title. Laquerre followed that up with Thunder Road titles for Cris Michaud in 2004 and 2005. The Laquerre-Cyr team took a few weeks to get things sorted out, but in the end they held off Michaud, Phil Scott and David Pembroke to win the coveted 2009 title. The team will receive $5,000 in point fund money for the championship win. Total money awarded to the Thunder Road competitors in three divisions will exceed $20,000.

 

Previously, in November, 2009, the ACT Castrol Series awarded over $30,000 in point fund money to those that competed in the 2009 nine (9) ACT Castrol Série.

 

The Banquet of Champions will award trophies, prize money, and special awards to an expected crowd of 500 teams and fans. Announcements regarding the 25th anniversary season of the American Canadian Tour, along with the prestigious awarding of the annual MacTavish Award, Doc Nielsen Award, and many other special recognitions will highlight the evening’s activities. The 2010 ACT and Thunder Road seasons will offer Late Model teams in the region over $800,000 in various purse and prizes beginning with the opening event at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH on Sunday, April 18th, the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150.

AMERICAN CANADIAN TOUR ANNOUNCES 2010 'TIGER' SPORTSMAN TOUR

        Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour (ACT) Tiger Sportsman division will compete in a mini-series in 2010. The popular Limited Late Model division will have a new tire by Goodyear, an expansion division at the beautiful White Mountain Motorsport Park (WMMP), and a four event Tour at four different race venues.

 

 

 

The opening event will be held on Saturday, June 5 at the White Mountain Motorsport Park ¼ mile oval in Woodstock, New Hampshire. White Mountain was one of the original tracks that helped start the ACT Late Model division touring back in 1998. That series has been going back to WMMP ever since. “We have adopted the ACT Sportsman rules for 2010 at WMMP, and with the large number of these cars at Thunder Road, we are hoping to show our race teams and fans how much fun this division can be for weekly racing,” said Donnie Avery, owner of the family run granite state facility.

 

The home of the Tiger Sportsman since 1964, Thunder Road in Barre, VT will host the second event on Thursday, July 1. The Tiger Sportsman division generally has between 40-45 teams that compete on a weekly basis at Thunder Road. One of the highlights for the division each season has been the 100 lap events. Brendan Moodie, a veteran of the division, said, “I think it’s great that we have this Tiger ‘mini-series’ for our division. Going to different tracks is not only fun but it presents a great learning experience. We really have to do some homework to find set-ups, and now with three other tracks participating, it will be a level playing field for all the teams.”

 

On Saturday, August 21, the Tour will make a return visit to Canaan Speedway in Canaan, New Hampshire. Sportsman teams from New York and Vermont converged on the smooth 1/3 mile track a year ago. Canaan management asked ACT for a Tiger Series return engagement in 2010. Teams all felt Canaan was the ‘perfect Tiger track’. Several years ago, the ACT Tiger teams visited Canaan on four occasions and had four different winners.

 

The Tiger Sportsman Tour will close the season at the Riverside Speedway in Groveton, NH on Saturday, October 9. This has been a favorite for many of the ACT Tiger Sportsman teams over the past few years. The 2010 Championship and final point standings will be decided with the finale event of 2010 at the new Riverside Speedway.

 

The metric chassis 602 GM crate motor division boasts many graduates from its ranks that have become the stars of the American Canadian Tour over the years. Eric Williams, John Donahue, Cooper MacRitchie, and David Pembroke were all former champions of the division. The recent youth movement from both the NEKC carting organization and Thunder Road’s Allen Lumber Street Stocks has made the division one of the most competitive and healthiest in the region. Now many fans from throughout the region will get to see Thunder Road’s famous ‘Flying Tiger Sportsman’ in 2010.

Bertrand Godin se joint à Revstar ABF

Le sympathique pilote québécois viendra croiser le fer avec les concurrents réguliers de la série Revstar ABF en 2010. Bertrand, qui est le porte parole de l'Autodrome de Granby, va disputer la moitié du calendrier régulier en alternance avec Dominic Lussier.

 

Nous sommes fier d'accueillir un pilote aussi réputé dans la série Revstar ABF. Sa présence deviendra une source de motivation additionnelle pour tous nos concurrents qui voudront rivaliser avec ce sympathique pilote.

Toujours aussi populaire, Bertrand Godin apportera une visibilité inespérée pour la série qui va entreprendre sa deuxième saison.

Par ailleurs, chez Revstar on planifie quelques courses sur glace cet hiver. On sait qu'il y a au moins 6 pilotes intéressés à évoluer sur la glace et nous avons amorcé des discussions avec certains promoteurs. Bertrand Godin a signifié qu'il ferait quelques courses avec nous cet hiver afin de se familiariser avec les bolides de Revstar en prévision de la prochaine saison.

Tandis que les médias américains se concentraient sur les premiers tours de piste de Danica Patrick au volant d’une voiture type-NASCAR, le pilote de Kahnawake, QC Derek White était aussi sur place pour tourner ses premiers tours sur le circuit de Daytona.
