Trois-Rivières, le mercredi 14 mars 2012 – La préparation mécanique et logistique s'accélèrent pour l'équipe Alex Job Racing - WeatherTech en vue du 60e anniversaire des 12h de Sebring qui débute demain, jeudi 15 mars, avec les séances d'essais.

Trois-Rivieres, Wednesday March 14th, 2012 – Accelerated mechanical and logistical aspects for the Alex Job Racing-WeatherTech team are now underway in preparation for the practice session of the 12 Hours of Sebring's 60th anniversary which starts tomorrow, Thursday March 15th, with practice sessions.

C'est au volant de la Porsche 911 GT3 Cup WeatherTech n°22 que le Québécois a effectué les premiers tests sur le circuit lundi dernier (12 mars 2012). La série American Le Mans comprend cinq catégories de voitures différentes et les pilotes doivent gérer et s'adapter constamment au trafic. L'instructeur de pilotage à l'international et ses coéquipiers, Cooper MacNeil (Hinsdale, IL) et Leh Keen (Charleston SC), sont prêts pour les séances d'essais de jeudi (horaire disponible sur http://americanlemans.com).
« La voiture n°22 WeatherTech va très bien, la journée de lundi nous a permis de la tester en piste et de faire des ajustements, nous avons été 2e dans notre catégorie [GT3 Cup] toute la journée. L'adaptation à la piste, la voiture et surtout au trafic en piste se passe bien, plusieurs voitures avec différentes vitesses, et il faut continuer de rouler pour se familiariser avec tous ces paramètres. », mentionne Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.

It is at the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup n°22 that the Quebecer executed the first tests on the track this past Monday (March 12th, 2012). The Le Mans American series is composed of five different car categories, requiring the pilots to readjust and adapt to the traffic conditions. The international racing instructor and his teammates, Cooper MacNeil (Hinsdale, IL) and Leh Keen (Charleston SC), are ready for Thursday's practice session (schedule available at http://americanlemans.com).
« The n°22 WeatherTech car is running very well, on Monday we were able to test on the track and make adjustments, placing 2nd all day in our category [GT3 cup]. Adapting to the track, car, and traffic is going very well, with a variety of cars and a variety of speeds, we must continue driving to familiarize ourselves with all of the parameters. » mentions Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.
