PR Micks Motorsport - Micks Leaves Mosport with Top Five Finish

| After rain washed out the second group qualifying on Saturday afternoon, Micks went out on Sunday morning and qualified the No. 02 Ford Fusion in third place. Sundays 200 km race would see Micks pit the BDI/Dickies Ford early, taking on just fuel on lap 15. Soon after on lap 17 a full course caution occurred and it opened the door for another pit stop, this time the No.02 team took 4 tires and restarted in ninth. The rest of the 51 lap race was green flag and Micks had a great car, with fresh tires he was able to work his way up through the pack. Micks had the No.02 Ford running as high as third and pulled off a fifth place finish. After the race Micks commented, “Overall I’m happy with the Beyond Digital/Dickies car, a top five finish will definitely help in the points. I want to thank all our sponsors and my crew for a great job today.” Micks is currently fourth in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series points heading to event #3 at Autodrome St. Eustache on Saturday July 3rd.
