PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Models Looking To Chaudiere And Beech Ridge

PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Models Looking To Chaudiere And Beech Ridge

 - For Immediate Release

NAPLES, ME (September 10) – Following the hoopla of the 42nd Annual AIM Recycling Oxford 250 Presented By Kenny U-Pull, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) AIM Recycling Super Late Model competitors now shift their focus to two more familiar events.  This weekend, PASS heads "North Of The Border" to join the American Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Models for Twin 200's at Autodrome Chaudiere.  Then, PASS returns state side for the 9th Annual PASS 400 Weekend at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, featuring the Southern Maine Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep 300.

Despite struggling to a disappointing 25th place finish in the Oxford 250, current PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Model points leader Mike Rowe still maintains a healthy advantage in the standings.  Rowe sits just over 100 points on his nearest championship combatants Travis Benjamin and Joey Doiron.  Benjamin, a two-time Oxford 250 champion, and Doiron, a former PASS winner at Beech Ridge, were not able to capitalize on Rowe's missteps at Oxford, both suffering their own poor finishes.

Sitting just behind the championship leaders are Turner, ME's Ben Rowe and Newmarket, NH's Bryan Kruczek.  Chaudiere and Beech Ridge will be pivotal for both drivers if they have any hopes of joining the title fight.  Ben Rowe ended a long winless drought in the North by taking the checkered flag at Autodrome Chaudiere, while Kruczek was able to score his first career PASS victory at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway back in May.

Both races coming up are expected to attract some of the best racers from New England and Canada.  Veteran Quebec driver Patrick Laperle scored his only win of the season last time PASS raced at Chaudiere back in June.  Veteran Travis Benjamin, along with fellow veteran Johnny Clark will be looking for their first wins of the season, while defending Oxford 250 champion Glen Luce hopes to make it two-in-a-row in PASS competition.

Action begins this Saturday afternoon at Autodrome Chaudiere with practice at 2 PM for the PASS Super Late Models, ACT Late Models, and 4 Cylinders.  At 6 PM, heat races for all divisions will go green, followed by main event racing at 7 PM, featuring Twin 200s for the PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Models and ACT Late Models.
