SPORTSCAR BOUTIQUE TO HIGHLIGHT ITS WIDE SELECTION OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AT THE CANADIAN MOTORSPORTS EXPO
We’ve been at the Canadian Motorsports Expo for the past several years, because these are the people we want to reach,” states Ilker Starck. “From the beginning racer to the pro, our business is directly related to their efforts.” Founded in 2010, the SportsCar Boutique features a three-pronged automotive business plan. As a service and repair centre, the licensed technicians at SportsCar Boutique focus on exotic marques such as Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari and Lamborghini. Alongside their service capabilities, this department also offers a Wheel and Tire Mounting Service, as well as Alignment and Corner Balancing for any high performance vehicles. The retail branch of SportsCar Boutique has, in two short years, grown into a leading source for racing gear, helmets and HANS devices in Ontario. With regards to their race wear lines, SportsCar Boutique is the Canadian distributor for AlpineStars racing gear, and a factory authorized dealer for the top-of-the-line Stilo Helmets and Schroth Safety harness. They are also the Canadian distributors for PAGID RS, manufacturers of racing brake pads. “Our product selection will be our primary focus at this year’s Canadian Motorsports Expo,” continues Starck. “We haven’t forgotten about the automotive enthusiast and their street machinery, but what we will have on display will be geared more towards the competitor. We plan a No Tax Event, and will be offering special deals all weekend long, on helmets and race wear.” Although their full line of automotive accessories will not be on hand at the CME, SportsCar Boutique regularly stocks parts for a distinguished clientele from its Thornhill, Ont. base, handling such brands as BMC air filters, Brembo and Pagid brake pads, HRE wheels and Recaro seats. The third aspect of the Starck’s business plan revolves around SCB Racing, providing race car preparation and trackside services for clients competing in events on the amateur CASC regional and PCA Club level, as well as on the semi-professional IMSA GT-3 Cup Challenge tour. “The full staff of SCB Racing will be on hand at the CME show to answer any questions people might have regarding what we can offer them, in getting them to the track fully prepared, and then keeping them running successfully and safely once they get there.” Concludes Starck, “The Canadian Motorsports Expo is a great opportunity for us to meet with our existing clients, as well as to introduce ourselves to potential new customers. The people who come to the Expo are the backbone of our business, and it is very important for us to have the opportunity to meet with them on a professional basis, against this motorsports backdrop.” ABOUT SPORTSCAR BOUTIQUE: The store and service centre is located at 85 Glen Cameron Drive in Thornhill, Ontario, with store hours 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
