Une collaboration grandissante; un partenaire de plus en plus impliqué!




Pour une 6e année consécutive, M. Patrick Rouleau, propriétaire de Méchoui International, s'implique auprès de la Série Sportsman Québec Lucas Oil.

Pour Patrick Rouleau, les courses ont fait partie de sa vie bien avant son implication avec la série puisqu'il a agi à titre de commanditaire pour les équipes de Stéphane Bouchard #12 LMS et Marco Savoie # 27 LMS et Sportsman sans compter son implication dans la campagne de financement de deux pilotes Mini Sportsman soit Nicolas et Thomas Côté. 

Méchoui International renouvelle sa commandite principale pour le titre de Recrue de l'année.

Une implication pour la relève

La Série Mini Sportsman Méchoui International a attiré l'œil de plusieurs amateurs depuis ses débuts en 2014. Défilant depuis 3 ans sous le regard de Patrick Rouleau lors de leur banquet de fin de saison, les pilotes de Mini Sportsman auront su aussi conquérir M. Rouleau. C'est un plaisir pour notre relève de pouvoir compter sur Méchoui International pour une deuxième saison consécutive comme commanditaire principal.

Xavier Pelchat ; plus jeune pilote d'une série touring au Québec





 

Il n'y a pas si longtemps, en 2015,  Xavier Pelchat de Saint-Félicien conduisait une voiture de la catégorie Sport Compact Amateur tout juste avant de faire son entrée dans la Série Sportsman Québec Lucas Oil.

 

C'est le 20 mai 2016 que Xavier Pelchat prend le volant de sa Sportsman #88 pour son premier programme. Une saison qui lui a permis de s'habituer à la voiture en comprenant son comportement en piste, mais aussi de connaître les autres pilotes avec qui il partageait la piste. La présence de son père en piste, le #8 Yves Pelchat a été sans aucun doute un atout pour le jeune pilote de 15 ans. Pour Xavier, il n'y a pas de doute; l'analyse de son père ainsi que ses précieux conseils sur sa conduite lui ont permis de s'adapter à sa nouvelle voiture.

 

Il se souvient du moment ou il a pris le volant pour la toute première fois ; sans aucun doute le meilleur moment de sa saison. Quand j'ai embarqué sur la piste la première fois, j'ai vu ce que c'était un char de course comparativement à mon ancienne voiture souligne Xavier.

 

Pour 2017, Xavier souhaite continuer sa progression au sein de la Série Sportsman Qc Lucas Oil en s'améliorant de programme en programme.

 

L'an dernier, il a pu compter sur Napa St-Félicien,  Autodrome St-Félicien,  Camping St-Félicien, Dupy Design,  Atelier Martin Lavoie, Électrique Évolution,  Asphalte Dallaire et St-Pierre et Auberge 4 saisons. Pour 2017, tentera de renouveler ses ententes de partenariat.

 

Je tiens à remercier mon père, car sans lui, rien de tout ne serait possible conclue Xavier.

SPONSORS EXCITED TO RETURN TO SPEEDWAY 51 IN 2017

 

            2017, appears that it is going to be a banner year for racing and sponsors at Speedway 51 in Groveton, New Hampshire, as it is turning into a busy offseason for the Northern New Hampshire speed plant. Many sponsors have signed on to be a part of the program for 2017.

 

            North Country Ford from Lancaster has renewed their sponsorship of the Late Model division for the upcoming season. The local Ford dealership has been an institution at the track for many, many years. They are excited about all the changes coming to the division. White Mountains Community College is back again for 2017 as they will be taking over the sponsorship of the brand new Cyclone class. Pepsi-Cola and Schweppes are back on board as the four cylinder Street Stock division. Passumpsic Savings Bank is returning once again as sponsor of Speedway 51's 50/50 program. Several night sponsors are also set for the year as NAPA will host the May 13th NAPA Spectacular, and Creative Counters will be sponsoring championship night.

VINTAGE SNOWMOBILES TAKE CENTER STAGE

AT SPEEDWAY 51 IN GROVETON, NH

 

            For the second consecutive weekend, Speedway 51 in Groveton, New Hampshire hosted another giant weekend event, as over 130 vintage snowmobiles took part in a giant Saturday event hosted by Dalton Mountain Motorsports, Optical Expressions Berlin, The Sign Depot, North Country Family Restaurant and Around The Clock Auto Repair.

 

            Eighteen divisions competed for some beautiful hardware in eighteen highly competitive features. The races featured racers from young kids up to senior citizens. Racers from Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont took part in the day long event.

 

            The next Vintage Snowmobile races will be held on Saturday, February 18th, followed by races on Saturday, February 25th, and the championship event will be held on Saturday, March 4th. Registration starts at 7:30am each day, and ends at 9am, while racing gets underway at 10am. Pre-registration information can be found at www.speedway51int.com.
