NASCAR Pinty's Series Drivers to Make SickKids Visit

 

WHAT:
NASCAR Pinty's Series drivers will be on location at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) to meet with patients and families ahead of the Tiffany Gate Grand Prix of Toronto at Exhibition Place this week. 

 

WHO:
Larry Jackson (No. 84 O'Neil Electric Supply Dodge) – 12-year series veteran

D.J. Kennington (No. 17 Castrol Edge Dodge) – Two-time Pinty's Series champion

Treyten Lapcevich (No. 20 FBM Chevrolet) – Current points standings leader

Dexter Stacey (No. 92 ReCap Recovery Drink Chevrolet) – 10-year series veteran

Alex Tagliani (No. 18 St. Hubert/NTN Chevrolet) – 11x series winner, including 2019 Toronto

 

WHEN:
Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. ET.

 

WHERE: 
SickKids – 555 University Ave., Toronto, ON*

Decision of the National Motorsports Appeals Panel - No. 96

(July 11, 2023) The National Motorsports Appeals Panel today heard and considered an appeal of a P4 penalty issued on June 14, 2023, to crew chief Robin McCluskey, driver Marc-Antoine Camirand and owner Jean-Claude Paillé in the NASCAR Pinty's Series.

The penalty concerns the following section of the 2023 NASCAR Pinty's Series Rule Book: Section 20.E.12.2. The penalties assessed were the loss of 18 NASCAR Pinty's Series Championship Driver and Owner Points and a $2,500 fine, one race suspension, and probation until Dec. 31, 2023, to the crew chief.

Upon hearing the testimony, the decisions of the National Motorsports Appeals Panel are:

  1. That the Appellant violated the Rule(s) set forth in the Penalty Notice.
  2. That the Panel upholds the original Penalties assessed by NASCAR.

The Appeals Panel members for this hearing:

  • Mr. Thomas DeLoach
  • Mr. Hunter Nickell
  • Mr. Kevin Whitaker

The Appellant has the right to appeal the decision of the National Motorsports Appeals Panel to the National Motorsports Final Appeals Officer in accordance with the NASCAR Rule Book.
