Last-lap Pass of Ranger Nets NASCAR Pinty's Series Season-Opening Win

BOWMANVILLE, Ont. — Kevin Lacroix finally figured out Canadian Tire Motorsport Park last fall, and the offseason did nothing to slow him down. Nor did the rain that arrived in force in the final laps of Sunday's Can-Am 200.

The Saint-Eustache, Quebec, driver scored his second win in a row at the fame 2.459-mile road course. He won the E3 Spark Plug Pole Award Saturday, and then drove by Andrew Ranger on the final lap of Sunday's race for his fifth career win.

A Lap 49 caution forced the race into overtime, with Lacroix and Ranger swapping the lead multiple times over the final turns before Lacroix pulled away for the win by 1.916 seconds.

Lacroix finished 26th (crash), 26th (clutch) and 23rd (rear end) in his first three starts at CTMP before his breakthrough last September. He led Sunday three times for a race-high 16 laps.

Gary Klutt snuck by defending series champion Cayden Lapcevich coming out of the final turn to claim the final podium spot. Klutt received the free pass twice in the last 12 laps to rally, while Alex Labbe rounded out the top five.

LP Dumoulin who started from the rear due to a penalty, rebounded to finish sixth. JF Dumoulin, Jason Hathaway, Brett Taylor and Adam Martin rounded out the top 10.

Rain right before the start soaked the track and required teams to come down before the green flag to change to rain tires. Most teams switched back to slicks as the track dried, but then back to rain tires when showers returned and intensified in the closing stages of the race.

Alex Tagliani, fastest in practice, led 14 laps but slid off track into the tire barrier on Lap 49 to bring out the final caution and push the race to 55 laps. He finished 18th. Anthony Simone, chasing his first career win, led 15 laps before being relegated to 22nd with mechanical issues.

The NASCAR Pinty's Series will be back in action Saturday, June 3rd at the Delaware Speedway for the Choko/ Fast Eddie 250 presented by Havoline, for the second race of the season.

BRISTOL, Tennessee, 21 mai 2017 – Malgré des débuts « canon » sur l'oval du Bristol Motor Speedway avec la pole position et la victoire dans sa course préparatoire, Raphaël Lessard, le pilote originaire de Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, a dû se contenter de la 15e place dimanche soir dans le cadre du premier U.S. Short Track Nationals.

 

En remportant la pole officielle et la course de qualification de samedi, le pilote de la Toyota Camry #99 FRL Express/Toyota-TRD/JBL Audio préparée par l'équipe de course David Gilliland Racing devenait par le fait même l'un des pilotes à battre pour l'épreuve principale de 100 tours.

 

La course ayant été retardée de 14 hres à 19 hres à cause de la pluie, dimanche,  les organisateurs ont décidé de scinder en deux chacune des trois courses au programme, une moitié de 51 tours et l'autre moitié de 49 tours. Ce faisant si la pluie revenait en soirée, une course de 51 tours devenait une course officielle. Les trois catégories au programme ont donc fait à tour de rôle leur segment de 51 tours, puis ont enchainées avec leur segment de 49 tours. Heureusement pour tous, Dame Nature a coopéré et les trois catégories ont pu compléter leur deux segments respectifs.

 

Quant à la grille de départ, comme il en est souvent de mise en stock-car, bien que Raphaël ait qualifié en pole position, il s'est élancé de la 5eplace après un tirage au sort parmi les 8 premières voitures.

 

Lors du premier segment de la course (51 tours), Raphaël a éprouvé des problèmes avec la voiture, celle-ci glissant souvent dans les virages. Finalement, c'est en 15e position qu'il a terminé la première moitié de la course, non sans s'être battu avec les pilotes en piste.

 

« Nous avions de mauvais pneus, alors la voiture n'allait pas bien du tout. Elle voulait toujours aller tout droit, et nous avons également eu des problèmes de moteur. Je n'ai pas été capable de me pointer dans les virages pour me battre, car les autres voitures étaient plus rapides que moi dans les lignes droites, » déclare le pilote.

 

Le pilote du programme de développement Toyota (TRD) n'a pas eu plus de chance dans la deuxième section de la course. Il a dû partir dernier puisque durant la pause entre les deux courses, son équipe a pris la décision de travailler sur la voiture, chose possible, mais coûteuse. En effet, les équipes faisant ce choix, devaient partir en fin de peloton. Par contre, lors du tour de formation, certaines des équipes ayant fait ce choix ne se sont pas s'aligné pour le départ. Raphaël en a donc profité pour remonter de quelques places.

 

Lors de ce deuxième segment (49 tours), il a réussi à remonter en 15e place, mais n'a pas su se battre avec les pilotes devant lui, car sa voiture ne tenait pas le coup.  « J'ai remonté quelques voitures, mais j'ai stagné en 15e position, car ceux en avant de moi étaient trop rapides. Ce n'est que partie remise, c'est une mauvaise course, ça arrive! » affirme le jeune pilote de 15 ans.

 

Si l'épreuve principale ne s'est pas déroulée comme prévu, c'est sa course de qualification qu'il retient : « Je suis content, car j'ai goûté à la victoire lorsque j'ai remporté la course de qualification samedi. C'est probablement ma plus grosse pole position à ce jour et je ne peux remercier l'équipe David Gilliland assez pour m'avoir donné une Toyota Camry capable d'une telle puissance. »

 

En effet, l'expérience sur le Bristol Motor Speedway est quelque chose d'unique en son genre, « La vitesse était extraordinaire, nous étions plus rapides que les NASCAR Monster Energy! » conclue le pilote, avec des sentiments mitigés sur sa performance de la fin de semaine.

 

La prochaine course de Raphaël sera disputée sur le circuit ovale du Anderson Motor Speedway, de Williamston, Caroline du Sud, les 9 et 10 juin prochain pour une épreuve CARS/SSS combinée.

Combine 6 different classes of action with free spectator grandstand admission at the Country 105 Season Opener and blend thoroughly for the perfect kick-off to a brand-new schedule at Canada's Toughest 3rd of a Mile Paved Oval. Peterborough Speedway unwrapped its much-anticipated 2017 calendar – Saturday, May 20th – with an outstanding night of short track stock car racing.

 

The first of the show's main events was a 20 lapper for the Jiffy Lube Mini Stocks, with Noel Snow and Kris Khan on the front row. Kevin Strutt jumped out to an early lead with a daring 3-wide pass, but he'd surrender the spot to Khan with 4 laps on the board. Noel Snow took the position away a lap later. A yellow flag a lap later slowed the pace and when the green flag waved again, the leaders were working around slower cars using the outside line. Khan would hold-off a late race charge from Neil Hannah for the win, with Donovan Price, Snow and Ember Junkin rounding-out the top 5.

 

With Jack Dallin and Tim Burke showing the way, the Trent Lakes Complete Plumbing Renegade Trucks set-off for their 15-lap feature tilt. Burke took the lead from the drop of the green flag and pushed his #99 machine to the limit throughout the race distance, making the most of his return to regular action. Dallin took 2nd spot, with Stacy Bierworth, Bill O'Hara and Stephen Bierworth completing the fast 5.

 

Keith Parkes and Shawn Solomon paced a potent pack of Battlefield Equipment Rental 4Fun runners to the year's first green flag. With only 5 circuits complete, the leaders had caught the tail-end of the field with Parkes showing the quick way around until a lap 9 caution flag slowed the pace. Defending track champion Jeremy Kelly took the lead on the restart, but gave up the spot as the field crossed the stripe on lap 15. Last year's points runner-up Sean Kennedy made a lap 17 pass for the lead to take the win. Kelly, Ryan Oosterholt, Solomon and Dave Feeney followed Kennedy across the line.

 

Steve Mayhew and Jessica Pasinetti brought the Thunder Car field to the Great Canadian RV green flag, with James Townsend taking the lead with 5 laps on the scoreboard. As the entire pack battled for position, former track champion Anthony DiBello took control with 9 complete and moved out to a 5 car-length advantage. A late race yellow slowed the pace and allowed for a thrilling finish, as DiBello claimed the opening night win despite a strong challenge from Bailey Jacobs. Dan Archibald, Townsend and Rob Richards completed the top 5.

 

Shawn Stones and James Horner led the way as the Organics & Glass Late Model squad left the staging area for its 30-lap headline dance. An early yellow with just 3 laps complete slowed the charge and just a short while later, Tyler Betts moved to the front of the field. The popular second generation runner would hold the spot through the remaining race distance, including a late yellow and celebrated his first 2017 win with family, friends and fans in Dart Heating & Air Conditioning Victory Lane. Chris Mitchell, Horner, Bryan Mercer and Steve Powell occupied the next 4 spots.

 

Close to 25 teams came to the line for the inaugural Eastern Ontario Legends Series start, with Matt Haufe and Cole McFadden on the front row. A lap 7 yellow flag scattered the field, but Haufe remained in control of the field. Even a multi-car crash with just over a handful of laps remaining wouldn't deny the former Legends champion his first win of the season. Cole Ledson, McFadden, Adam Cuthbertson and Jamie Riberdy were next to cross the line.

 

Earlier in the night, heat wins went to Kris Khan, Donovan Price with a pair and Kevin Strutt in the Jiffy Lube Mini Stocks. Tim Burke and former champ Jack Dallin took the Trent Lakes Complete Plumbing Renegade Truck preliminaries, while defending track champion Jeremy Kelly, Malcolm 'Pops' MacDonald, Sean Kennedy with a pair, Ryan Oosterholt and Jake Kelly were the class of the Battlefield Equipment Rental 4Fun field. Howie Crowe, Anthony DiBello with a pair and Larry Crowe Jr. grabbed the Thunder Car qualifiers, with Jack Horner, Dan McHattie, James Horner and Tyler Betts taking the Organics & Glass Late Model checkered flags. Eastern Ontario Legends Series opening rounds went to Cole Ledson with a pair, Cole McFadden and 2016 Autumn Colours Classic champion Matt Haufe.

 

Bullring bullet points: With Peterborough Speedway's 5 weekly divisions and the Eastern Ontario Legends Series on hand, there were close to 100 teams signed into the pits…Richard Dalglenis of Oxford Mills, Ontario left the first show of the year with a payday of nearly $1300 in the 50/50 draw.

 

Action at Canada's Toughest 3rd of a Mile Paved Oval continues Saturday, May 27thwith the Battlefield Equipment Rental 4Fun, Jiffy Lube Mini Stocks, Thunder Cars, Ontario Modifieds Racing Series, Ontario Pro Challenge; as well as the OSCAAR Midgets and Pro Midgets. Pit gates open at 2:00, with the spectator grandstands unlocked at 4:00 and the night's first green flag at 5:00.

PLATTSBURGH- Chris Raabe of Alexandria, Ontario collected the first win of the season for the Egglefield Ford 358 Modified division 3o lap feature at Airborne Park Speedway.

                Raabe drove from the seventh spot to third in the heat race and started sixth in the feature event.

                A lap-22 restart pinned Middlebury, Vermont's Todd Stone aside Raabe's number St. Lawrence Radiation 01. Raabe, the leader, had lane selection and chose the top of the track. Stone hung around for one lap on the inside the top proved to be the right decision as Raabe went on to win convincingly. Stone finished second with Cornwall, Ontario's Gage Morin finishing in third. Positions four and five went to Greg Atkins and Jessey Mueller, respectively.

                It was a slow start to the Fidelis Care Sportsman feature with two red flags in the first four laps.

                On the opening lap, Neal Provost hopped the wheel of Jamie LaFountain's 20x machine and Provost rolled over onto the front stretch, bringing out the red flag. A few laps later, Zach Daniels spun into the infield and the front clip of the race car dug into the infield and sent him over as well.

                While all this was happening in the middle of the pack, Moise Page was picking cars off on the extreme outside. Page worked his way around Johnny Scarborough after the two battled side by side on several restarts. Page, of St. Louis de Gonzague, Quebec picked up win number one in the 25 lap event. Scarborough settled for second with positions three through five going to Connor Cleveland, Bucko Branham and Lonnie Rivers.

                The TUSA Mod Lites ran a 20 lap feature with Grimson, Ontario native, Paul Klager dominating the event. Klager used lap traffic to complete the pass on Malone's Deric Ellsworth. Kevin Foster finished second with Ellsworth completing the top three.

                Brent Jarvis was able to rebound from a lap-4 spin and take the victory in the Poirier's True Value Renegade feature. Michael Wright and Keith O'Neil finished second and third.

                Josh LaPorte of Peru was the winner in the Busch Beer Mini Mod division. Roger LaBounty and Tyler Irwin rounded out the top three.

                The Strictly Stock beginner division winner was Michael Daniels. Rolland Guay finished second and Derick Coolidge third.

                Racing actions resumes at Airborne on May 27 with all five of the regular racing divisions on tap. Post time for that event is 7 p.m.

Barre, Vt. – Barre's Thunder Road kicks off the 2017 season this Sunday, May 28 with the 55thMemorial Day Classic presented by Mekkelsen RV Sales & Rental. The event will begin the title chases for all three weekly divisions at the "Nation's Site of Excitement," with the Thunder Road Late Models, Lenny's Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, and Allen Lumber Street Stocks joining the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models on the card.

 

Defending "King of the Road" Scott Dragon will be back to look for a second straight Late Model title after taking the crown by a single point in 2016. The Milton veteran enters his fourth season with Richard Green Racing knowing he'll face tough challenges from both the competition and the newly-repaved track surface.

 

"I think the car is going to go well on that new asphalt," Dragon said. "It was really fast on the 'goop', so I'm thinking it should be good on the fresh pavement. It's really a matter of trying to stay out of trouble. I've always said staying out of trouble is the key to winning championships. You can run great, but if you get tangled up in someone else's mess, it's over. There are so many drivers who can contend, so we're just trying to keep the pressure off and do our thing."

 

"The new asphalt is definitely going to change things," he added. "I think everybody knows that. The high line that I've stuck to for the last few years isn't going to be there – I'm going to be searching around just like everyone else.  A lot of us were running that really high line and leaving the middle wide open, and you're not going to be able to do that anymore. As soon as that middle opens up now, someone's going to be driving in there."

 

A host of fellow competitors are ready to lay claim to the throne. Barre's Jason Corliss finished third in the 2016 standings and will chase both the Thunder Road and American-Canadian Tour titles. Young standouts Kyle Pembroke of Montpelier and Cody Blake of Barre are prepared for the next step, while South Burlington's Trampas Demers is a perennial contender. Defending Memorial Day Classic winner Tyler Cahoon is ready for loftier goals in his second full season at Thunder Road. Eric Badore, Shawn Fleury, and Matt White also return after winning races in 2016.

 

The Lenny's Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers entered last year's season finale with five drivers alive for the title and could so the same in 2017. Wolcott's Brendan Moodie looks to reclaim the gold after missing out on a second straight championship by one point. Fellow former champions Jason Woodard of Waterbury Ctr. and Joe Steffen of Grand Isle will be in the hunt as well.  Barre's Cameron Ouellette and Craftsbury Common's Mike Martin look to put it all together after winning three races each in 2016, while defending Allen Lumber Street Stock Champion Jamon Perry leads a large rookie class.

 

The Street Stocks again have a mix of wise veterans and bright youngsters ready to do battle. Multiple former titlists such as Wolcott's Jamie Davis, Williamstown's Tommy "Thunder" Smith, East Hardwick's Bunker Hodgdon, and Tunbridge's Gary Mullen have registered for the season. Other experienced hands such as Fairfax's Alan Maynard, Lincoln's Gary Bashaw, and Essex Jct.'s Matthew Smith look to join them as champions. Most of the strong 2016 rookie class has also returned, including Rookie of the Year Brandon Lanphear and two-time winner Peyton Lanphear.

 

These drivers and many more will be on hand to open the 58th season of competition at Barre's Thunder Road this Sunday, May 28 at 1:00pm. The 55th Memorial Day Classic presented by Mekkelsen RV Sales & Rental will be highlighted by 150 laps for the PASS North Super Late Models and 100 laps for the Thunder Road Late Models. Admission is $25 for adults and free for kids age 12 and under. An open practice for all divisions is scheduled for Saturday, May 27 with Class Day ceremonies set for 12:20pm on Sunday.

Débuts très attendus ce week-end du Québécois Alex Tagliani à l'ouverture de la saison NASCAR Pinty's en Ontario


Montréal, 18 mai 2017 - Alex Tagliani participera à la manche d'ouverture de la saison 2017 de la série canadienne NASCAR Pinty's qui sera disputée ce dimanche 21 mai sur le circuit routier de 3,957 km du Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) situé près de Bowmanville en Ontario. Pour le pilote de l'équipe de course EpiPen Lowe's, il s'agira de sa première participation en quatre ans à cette épreuve printanière sur le circuit ontarien, lui qui avait dans le passé consacré ses mois de mai à la classique annuelle du Indy 500.


« Je suis plus excité qu'à l'habitude à l'aube de cette première course de la saison, a déclaré Tagliani lors d'une entrevue cette semaine. J'ai travaillé d'arrache-pied cet hiver pour dénicher de nouveaux commanditaires et avec l'arrivée de Lowe's et ses bannières RONA et Réno Dépôt, ainsi que les rôtisseries St-Hubert qui se joignent à mon commanditaire de longue date EpiPen, ma priorité est de me consacrer à temps plein à la série NASCAR. »


C'est donc au volant de sa Dodge EpiPen Lowe's St-Hubert numéro 18 que l'on verra le pilote québécois disputer la victoire à Andrew Ranger et compagnie ce dimanche. L'an dernier lors de l'épreuve du mois de septembre au CTMP, Tagliani avait établi le record du tour de la série en qualification avec une vitesse moyenne de 172,122 km/h, mais il en veut plus cette fois. En carrière, il a disputé quatre courses au CTMP, terminant une fois dans le top cinq et deux fois dans le top 10.


Vingt-quatre pilotes sont inscrits au Can-Am 200, une épreuve de 51 tours (82 kilomètres) dont le départ sera donné dimanche à 13 heures. Les qualifications débuteront samedi à 12 h 15.


La saison de Tagliani a débuté jeudi à Mississauga en Ontario
Bien que le lever de rideau de la saison 2017 de la série NASCAR Pinty's n'aura lieu que dimanche, Alex Tagliani est déjà au travail cette semaine pour ses nouveaux commanditaires. Il a effectué jeudi une visite promotionnelle lors de l'ouverture officielle du siège social régional de Lowe's à Mississauga. Vendredi, il sera au magasin Lowe's d'Oshawa avec sa voiture et le camion de course. Les amateurs et les clients de Lowe's sont invités à rencontrer Alex pour des séances de photos et d'autographes et à participer aux concours d'arrêts aux puits. Le même scénario se répétera toute la saison dans un magasin Lowe's situé dans la ville où sera disputée une course de la série NASCAR Pinty's. Les amateurs sont invités en grand nombre à participer à ces activités avant course avec l'équipe d'Alex Tagliani.


« Une journée fort occupée lors de l'ouverture officielle du siège social régional de Lowe's à Mississauga, mais quelle superbe journée ensoleillée pour un BBQ, a mentionné Tagliani à l'issue de cette journée.Les gens ont adoré la voiture et nous avions transporté le jeu d'arrêts aux puits afin que les employés découvrent une partie des dessous de la course automobile. Ils ont appris à respecter ceux qui font ce travail à toute vitesse en piste chaque weekend. Tout le monde s'est prêté au jeu et tous se sont bien amusés. Un don de 2 500 $ a été fait à une école de la région. Vendredi, nous serons à Oshawa pour une autre journée de promotion, mais j'ai vraiment hâte que la saison débute. »


Tagliani espère faire mieux que sa meilleure saison en NASCAR Canada l'an dernier
L'an dernier, Tagliani a terminé au troisième rang du classement des pilotes avec 446 points. Il a connu sa meilleure saison avec trois victoires, deux troisièmes places, une quatrième, une cinquième, une sixième, une huitième et une neuvième en 11 départs. Il a participé à une course en moins, ayant raté l'ouverture de la saison NASCAR pour courir au Indy 500.


En 45 départs en NASCAR Pinty's, Tagliani a inscrit cinq victoires, sept positions de tête, 17 top cinq et 28 top dix.

Trois-Rivières (Québec, Canada), le 18 mai 2017 – Le 21 mai prochain, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin participera à la première épreuve de la saison 2017 en série NASCAR Pinty's sur le circuit du Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Bowmanville, Ontario). Détenteur de quatre podiums dont deux victoires et sept top-5 sur ce tracé, l'équipe WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare ne vise rien de moins que le podium pour sa sixième année de partenariat avec WeatherTech Canada.

 

Faisant suite à l'annonce de la semaine dernière concernant la prolongation du partenariat pour deux années supplémentaires avec WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin est impatient de se retrouver de nouveau en piste.

High Stakes On The Line As PASS North Stars Head Back To Montmagny This Weekend

NAPLES, ME (May 18) – As the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models make their first of two trips to Canada, starting this weekend at Quebec's Autodrome Montmagny, a lot is on the line.  Not only will Sunday's winner at Montmagny take home $5,000, but an international cast of drivers will have an opportunity to get locked into the 44th Annual Oxford 250 and the chance to win over $25,000.

While PASS makes its popular return to Quebec for the first time since 2015, "The Road To The Oxford 250" continues through Montmagny with the top three finishers from Canada and the United States locking themselves into the 250. 

Although a winner last weekend in New Hampshire, Derek Ramstrom is not eligible for a points provisional since he has not been able to compete in every PASS North race this season.  Ramstrom knows being one of the top American finishers on Sunday could have a huge impact on his chances in August's Oxford 250.

"By locking into the 250, we can focus on setting the car up for a long run, instead of worrying about having to race our way in through the heat races," says Ramstrom, driver of the Matthews Truck Service/Ramstrom's Service Center Chevrolet #35.  "As far as Quebec goes, I've been talking to a lot of people and they say Montmagny is somewhat similar to Lee.  We should be fast, the car has been perfect all year."

Turner, ME's Ben Rowe is known as "Mr. PASS."  Rowe has started every PASS North Super Late Model race run since the series started in 2001 and has won the series championship four times.  Add to that, four more PASS National Championships and the 2009 PASS South title.  And even though he leads the standings coming to Montamagny, the two-time Oxford 250 winner realizes how high the stakes are for this weekend.

"Montmagny is a fast, fun track with lots of great fans that pack the place," says Rowe, driver of the Richard Moody & Sons Construction/Hancock Lumber Toyota #4.  "It's always fun racing north of the border, but now you get a chance to lock yourself into the Oxford 250 and that's a huge deal.  No matter who you are, the 250 is extremely hard to qualify and get in to."

North Carolina driver, Matt Craig, and Washington State's, Shane Mitchell, have each received guaranteed starting positions to the big race through the "Road To The Oxford 250" program.   

Joining Rowe and Ramstrom among the pre-entries for Montmagny, include former Oxford 250 winners, Travis Benjamin and Glen Luce, former PASS champions, Johnny Clark, Joey Doiron, and DJ Shaw.  Dave Farrington, Jr., Joe Squeglia, Jr., and Derek Griffith are among the championship contenders who are entered, along with Canadian drivers, Donald Theetge and Lonnie Sommerville.

All the action gets under way this weekend at Autodrome Montmagny on Sunday with pit gates opening at 9 AM, support division practice at 9:30 AM, PASS practice at noon, heat races are slated to begin at 3:30 PM, followed by heat races and features for the PASS North Super Late Models and support divisions.

L'été semble bien vouloir s'installer. Enfin ça sent réellement les courses et

la présentation d'un premier programme pour la saison 2017 de

l'Autodrome Drummond sera plus que probable.


Avec la présentation de la première manche de la série "GMC crate Motor"

pour la catégorie Sportsman. Une série sous l'égide de DIRT, et

commandité par Lussier Chevrolet entre autres, donc les meilleurs de la

discipline seront en piste pour 50 tours. Le champion en titre de la piste,

Brian Cloutier, voudra sûrement montrer aux compétiteurs présents que

son championnat n'était pas le fruit du hasard. À surveiller aussi des gars

comme Dany Gagné, Martin Pelletier et Michaël Richard qui ont de grosses

ambitions pour la saison à venir.


Les Modifiés seront de la partie bien sûr avec eux aussi un 50 tours de pur

bonheur. Le champion en titre, Yan Bussière, ne sera pas en piste à

Drummond, il se consacre désormais à son rôle de promoteur à 100%. Ce

qui laisse la place à un nouveau champion, et la liste de prétendants est

longue. David Hébert revient temps plein les samedi, Steve Bernard ancien

champion aussi, sera à surveiller, mais le 1M de Mathieu Desjardins lorgne

sérieusement le championnat après avoir passé si près l'an passé. Sans

oublier les frères Clair, Mario et Gino.

Et pour ajouter au spectacle, les Lightning Sprint seront aussi en piste, ces

derniers offrent toujours un excellent spectacle rempli de rebondissements.


Calendrier 2017

Deux autres courses auront lieu en Mai soit le 27, avec la première

épreuve du "GMC Crate Motor" et la traditionnelle soirée "Rêves d'enfants".

Suivra aussi le mois de juin avec 3 programmes, avec les spectaculaires

et très rapides ESS le 3 juin, un 50 tours "Soirée Casino" le 17 et le soir de

la St-Jean le 24, avec la 2e manche de la série "GMC Crate Motor". Juillet

n'est pas en reste avec pas moin de 4 programmes, soit le 8 Prostock

challenge, le 22 le retour des Side Panels, le LUNDI 24 avec la série "Gros

blocs DIRT" et le 29 avec la série DIRT Prostock. Le mois d'août nous

offrira 2 samedis de courses soit le 5 avec le spectaculaire concours d'arrêt

aux puits devant l'estrade principale et le 19 avec la soirée Modifiés

"topless" dont les dons seront remis à la fondation du cancer du sein, une

occasion unique d'admirer le travail des pilotes plus visibles , car privé de

leurs toits pour l'occasion. Septembre nous offrira un nombre record de

programmes avec 5 événements dont 2 le dimanche. La soirée des

Champions le 2 qui couronnera les nouveaux rois ou reine de la saison. Le

dimanche 10 septembre, la série G-Kart sera en action sur le Mini Drome,

le 16 sera la soirée de la 13e édition du Racemania suivi le lendemain du

championnat fin de saison du Stadiaume St-Guillaume, qui termineront leur

saison à L'Autodrome Drummond et pour clore la saison 2017 la Classique

Automnale aura lieu le 23 septembre.
