ACT TOUR car counts: what's next?

Ouch! What will be the car count at the next ACT Tour event? At the Oxford Plains Speedway event 33 cars raced the 150 laps and 8 loaded on the trailer. The following week, at Thunder Road, 32 racers competed and 14 other went home early.

At this week’s Airborne event, only 25 competitors showed up. With regular tour competitors, like Chris Michaud, Phil Scott, Pete Fecteau nowhere to be seen. Is this the result of too many races in too little time (3 races in as many weekends)? Or is this a consequence of bad planning by Tour Boss Tom Curley scheduling a Thunder Road event on the following day?

------

Ouch!

Are you really asking questions, because it seems like you are making statements with question marks attached. Compare ACT's car counts for the early season with PASS, TVMRS or any other northeast regional series, then let us know how it stacks up. Actually, I'll save you the trouble. They stack up very well.

Mr. Anonymous - I belive my commentary to be clear.

I am asking a questions:

- is the 25 cars at Airborne a consequence of 3 races in as many weekends or the fact that there was a Thunder Road event the next day?

At no time did I talk about ACT's car count relative to other series.

as a matter of fact in my 2007-05-13 entry, I mention that the quantity of drivers who finished on the lead lap in the first 3 events is more than most local [...] have for car count for their main class [...].).

Let me say it a different way, what can be expected in terms of "regular" ACT Tour competitors
in each event and/or how many cars can we expect?

As a fan, I would be disapointed to get less than 30 cars knowing how many LMS there are in the New Englad States, Quebec and Ontario provices and the posted funds.

Oh, and I didn't listen, I gave you an answer after all.
