PASS celebrates the fourth with two spectacular events
For Immediate Release: Media, contact Norm Desjardins Naples ME (6/28)The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) has a double header weekend on tap to celebrate the fourth of July and both events offer up a great way to spend a holiday weekend evening. First up are the PASS South super late models. The southern superstars make their only Ace Speedway appearance of 2011 on Friday evening July 1.The fast North Carolina 4/10 mile facility is the perfect venue for the ultra quick PASS South race cars. Andy Loden is the defending race winner, topping 2010 PASS South Champion Preston Peltier and Jimmy Weller in the process. |
Jay Fogleman leads the PASS South standings by a fourteen point margin over Ryan Blaney as the series heads into the season's eighth event. Peltier is just sixteen points back in third, while Loden will look for an Ace repeat to close the thirty-eight point gap between himself and Fogleman. There's an exciting night in store for PASS South fans. The schedule includes CCS Sportsman,Legends,Bandoleros and USAC CFF Midgets. Gates open at 5:00 PM, qualifying gets under way at 6:10 PM and there's a kid's bike race set for 7:30 PM. Feature racing goes green at 8:00 PM, topped off by a spectacular fireworks display. Ace is on line at www.acespeedway.com. 812 miles North in Canaan New Hampshire sits the Canaan Fair Speedway complex, and PASS Series officials will pull an all nighter to make their way to Canaan's awesome asphalt on Saturday July 2nd. It's the PASS North Firecracker 150, another huge fourth of July celebration with everything from super late models to monster trucks and of course, fireworks . The PASS Mods join their super late model brethren on a full schedule that includes Canaan's own Late Models. Super Streets. Daredevils,. Pure Stocks and Bandits. There's plenty of free self contained camping right on site and there's a big dirt show scheduled for Friday evening at that facility, so fans have the unique opportunity to enjoy the best of both racing worlds On Saturday July 2 the action gets an early start at 5:00 PM.
