RÉACTIONS AU CALENDRIER DE LA SÉRIE ACT

Laval, QC – 2014-11-28 – Today, Série ACT officials released their 2015 schedule.  A 12- races schedule, in which, Série ACT will showcase their competitors at six different tracks and with multiple combo events with the US-based ACT Tour.

The Major highlight, and change, of the 2015 Série ACT will be the addition of Airborne Park Speedway events (3), which will also count towards an independent Triple Crown Championship.  Two of these races will be Série ACT points counting events.  The Spring green (the season opener) and the Fall Foliage (the season ending race).  While, the third event of the Triple Crown, the ACT Invitational, will be a non point counting in the Série ACT Championship.  The way the Série ACT and ACT Tour schedules are built, they will allow for US competitors to join the Quebec drivers and for a chase to the title, to the great benefit of fans on both sides of the border.  Monies for this Triple Crown have yet to be announced.  But we can expect this to be a nice incentive.

Other positive asapects to this schedule are the return to Autodrome St-Felicien after several years of absence (75, 75 and 100 lap segment race) and the previously announced combo event with the PRO ALL STAR SERIES (PASS) at Autodrome Chaudiere (200 laps) make this a very exciting schedule.

Racers will get to race pretty much every weekend, except for two gaps in the months of June and August (only 2 races in each month).  This setup will allow Quebec based competitors and fans, that whish, to take in more races to travel South of the border and race in ACT Tour or non points counting events.  The US-based sister tour  will hold 13 events at 11 race tracks.
