Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park have announced the ACT World Series 100 at Thompson Speedway on Saturday, October 17 will be broadcast live on FansChoice.TV. Viewers around the world now have the opportunity to view the ACT Late Model Tour season finale held as part of Thompson's annual Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing presented by XtraMart.

 

FansChoice will provide live online single-camera streaming coverage paired with live public address audio of select touring and weekly series events at the 5/8-mile speedway. The service previously broadcast the ACT American Racer Challenge Cup at Florida's New Smyrna Speedway in February.

 

"Over the years, the Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing, presented by XtraMart has become one of the nation's premier events," Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park General Manager Josh Vanada said. "We are glad to partner with FansChoice to bring the event worldwide."

 

The World Series 100 is the inaugural event at Thompson Speedway for the ACT Late Model Tour. The former ACT Pro Stock Tour visited the track seven times, most recently in 1992 for a 100-lap event won by Junior Hanley.

 

The event will also decide the 2015 ACT Tour championship. Two-time ACT Champion Wayne Helliwell Jr. of Dover, NH enters with a 42-point lead over defending Champion Joey Polewarczyk Jr. of Hudson, NH.

 

Windham, ME's Brad Babb sits third in the standings, while Jeff White, Emily Packard, and Brandon Atkins are locked in a tight battle for the fourth-through-sixth spots. They will take on Thompson Speedway regulars such as Jeff Rocco, Jared Materas, and Larry Gelinas.

Qualifying for the ACT World Series 100 goes to post at 2:15pm on Saturday, October 17.Feature events for all divisions begin at approximately 5:00pm. Open ACT practice will be held on Friday, October 16.
