22 RACING ANNOUNCES DRIVER MARC-ANTOINE CAMIRAND
Camirand to Compete in Four Remaining Road Course Races in 2017
Milverton, ON, Thursday June 15, 2017 – It is with great pleasure that 22 Racing welcome veteran racer Marc-Antoine Camirand to their stable of drivers for 2017 in the NASCAR Pinty's Series. Camirand will take part in the four remaining road course events in 2017 at Circuit ICAR, Pinty's Grand Prix at Toronto Honda Indy, the Grand Prix de Trois Rivieres and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Camping World Truck Series weekend.
"It is exciting when we get to bring in a veteran of many different racing disciplines such as Marc-Antoine," said team owner Scott Steckly. "We know he can run up front so he will be a great addition to our team and we look forward to seeing what he can do in one of our cars."
In an announcement today, Marc-Antoine Camirand will compete in the four events in the #22 Chevrolet Impala with partnership from GM Paillé #1 Au Canada of Berthierville, QC.
"It is the first time in my racing career that all the winning conditions are gathered," said road course ace Camirand. "Scott's team is very professional, as well as GM Paillé's. I think it is the perfect fit between my team and my sponsor, and I am very proud to partner with both.

About Marc-Antoine Camirand:
Camirand began his racing career in 1991 in go-karts at the age of 12. He quickly moved up through the ranks and competed in many touring series in Canada and the United States. Those include F1600, F2000, Fran-Am, American Le Mans, Grand-Am Rolex, Canadian Touring Car Championship, winning races and Rookie of the Year honours along the way. In 19 NASCAR Pinty's Series starts Marc-Antoine has 6 top 5's, 10 top 10's and 1 pole at the Grand Prix de Trois Rivieres in 2014. In his only full-time season in the series in 2015, he finished in 7th in the Championship standings.
