Statement From New Day Motorsports On The Passing Of Mike Sabiston

On behalf of New Day Motorsports, Jeff Day, Brandon Ward, and the entire crew, we would all like to extend our prayers and deepest condolences to the family of our friend Mike Sabiston after his tragic passing today.  Mike was a long time friend and supporter of New Day Motorsports and was an integral part of our racing family.  He certainly was loved by us all and deeply appreciated.

 


 
Due to the events of Friday, the crew made a team decision and has decided not to race at this weekend's Pro All Stars Series event at Southern National Motorsports Park out of respect for Mike and his family.  It is our hope to return to PASS competition soon as we know that's what Mike would have wanted.
 
We will communicate more information as soon as arrangements have been made.
