Pro All Stars Series news - PASS North Super Late Model White Mt. Motorsports Park preview

PASS Super Late Models open White Mountain’s 2010 season Saturday

The Pro All Stars Series super late models will make their way to the White Mountains of New Hampshire on Saturday May 22nd for White Mountain Motorsports Park’s 2010 season opener and the field for the second event of  the PASS North season looks to be one of the strongest ever.

The action is always nonstop when PASS visits the Avery family’s immaculate quarter mile, and with all the talent that’s entered it’s tough to pick a winner. Ben Rowe has ruled White Mountain in recent years but Richie Dearborn  earned a win and a third place finish in the series’ two 2009 appearances at the North Woodstock Oval. Derek Ramstrom and Kelly Moore both had podium finishes in 2009 as well. All four have pre entered and there’s a long list of challengers.

Home track hero Steve Legendre will return to his roots seeking  his break through win.  Legendre has been racing with PASS South this season and sits 11th in the South standings and ninth in the National Championship chase.

Trevor Sanborn has filed an entry and he’ll be behind the wheel of one of Richard Moody’s potent machines, still seeking that first PASS North win after coming so close, so many times. Beech Ridge regular Aaron Ricker is coming off a top ten finish in the PASS season opener and he’ll try his luck at White Mountain too. Vermonter Scott Dragon will be back in the Ciotti Racing entry after a very competitive run at Beech Ridge.

2009 Champ Johnny Clark and 2009 Rookie of the Year Nick Ribbe are both pre entered, as are rookies Joey Doiron and Austin Theriault. Adam Bates, Gary Smith Scott Chubbuck, Travis Benjamin, Randy Turner and Donnie Whitten are but a few of the teams that will chase the checker for 150 green flag laps on Saturday.

White Mountain’s five weekly racing divisions will join the PASS Super Late Models on the card.  Practice gets on track at noon and opening day racing gets the green at 4:00 PM.
