NAPLES ME (5/30) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) takes its racing road show to northern New Hampshire on Sunday June 3 when all three PASS North touring series tackle the tough quarter mile known as Riverside Speedway.

The Groveton speed plant will host the touring pros after a one year hiatus and fans of the Super Late Model, Mod and Sportsman series are anxiously anticipating their return to the Connecticut river valley oval.

It's race number three of the Bull Ring Tour, a stretch of three New Hampshire quarter miles in a row that have seen a pair of Clarks in victory lane in the first two editions. Johnny Clark scored at Star Speedway and Cassius Clark showed the way at White Mountain Motorsports Park, and both drivers have Riverside Speedway wins on their resume. Joey Doiron won the super late model season opener at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway and he continues to lead the standings with 646 points while DJ Shaw has moved up to second with 635, and Lonnie Sommerville sits in third with 633. 150 green flag laps is the distance.

Riverside Speedway has been a staple of the PASS Mod schedule in seaons past and its no surprise that two time series champion Andy Shaw has the two most recent race wins at “Grovetona”. There's a new look to the division in 2012 with a slew of new teams in the open wheel ranks and Shaw has plenty of challengers for the crown. Shaw leads Dana Reed by a single point in the standings; Travis Buzzell trails Reed by five markers. Shaw and series newcomer Rusty Bryant have each scored a feature win. They'll battle for forty green flag laps at Riverside.

The PASS Sportsman have had a few weeks off to prepare for Riverside, and you can expect a 75 lap battle between the touring regulars and the local heroes. Dan Mckeage was the 2010 Sportsman winner at Riverside and he will be looking for his first visit to victory lane of 2012. Carey Martin leads Joe Pastore and Craig Smith by twelve markers after two events. Martin and JR Baril claimed the seasons' first two checkers.

The ever popular monster trucks and the Allison Legacy series round out a fantastic afternoon of motorsports mayhem, North Country style. Post time at Riverside is 1:30 PM .
