OXFORD PR - Oxford Plains Speedway Gears Up For Memorial Day Weekend

Fan Appreciation night has been rescheduled for Friday, May 27. Four Speedway divisions, the Late Models, Strictly Stocks, Mini Stocks and Oxford Outlaws, will kick off the season at a special starting time of 7:30. Saturday, May 28, the first Motor Mayhem of the year takes center stage. Oxford Federal Credit Union presents the action featuring Spectator Drags, the Smokey Donut Show, a Tag Team Race, a Flagpole race and Full Size and Compact Obstacle Enduro races. The event will be capped by the first fireworks display of the year. Sunday, May 29, brings the inaugural Awesome Auto and Bike Show to the Speedway grounds. Ride Maine and Cruise Maine are presenting the show in concert with 107.5 Frank FM. The event will feature show cars and bikes from around the region and will feature additional entertainment throughout the day.
