PASS returns to Oxford Plains Speedway Friday, Saturday
For Immediate Release: Media, contact Norm Desjardins – racewithpass@yahoo.com NAPLES ME (7/19) This weekend The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North super late models and PASS Mods return to Oxford (ME) Plains Speedway for the first time in five years and their's plenty of excitement surrounding their appearance at the fabled oval.. Oxford's a track that every driver wants to tame and the early entry list confirms the fact. There's already a full field of entrants for the PASS 150 from Canada to North Carolina, and the rumor mill is rampant with names that are expected to attempt to make the field. |
PASS South and National Championship leader Jay Fogleman will make the trip north to try and tame the Route 26 speedway, but he'll have his hands full with the best PASS North has to offer. North point leader Johnny Clark, Ben Rowe, Scott Chubbuck, Cassius Clark, and a host of others know every trick in the book when it comes to making fast laps around Oxford and the race promises 150 green flag laps of non stop action, with battles for position in every corner. Many of the PASS Mod drivers have never turned a wheel at Oxford and to a team they are psyched to get their shot. Andy Shaw knows Oxford and he's done the unheard of this year, winning five times in five starts. He leads Allen Wilson in the standings, another Oxford veteran who plans to do the double, racing both his Mod and Super Late Model. The PASS Mods highlight the Oxford Acceleration Series show on Friday night July 22. The green flag flies at 6:30 PM. The PASS North super late models will wrap up the night with a happy hour practice. SaturdayJuly 23 is race day for the PASS North super late models and the green flag waves at 6:30 PM. The Modified Racing Series and Oxford's own strictly stocks complete the line up. View the early entry list and schedule at www.proallstarsseries.com .
