For immediate release AS-080111-1 Ste-Croix, QC – Many Airborne DIRTCar Modifieds teams will be hauling to Circuit Riverside Speedway in Ste. Croix, QC, Saturday, August 13 for a $3,000 to-win, $500-to-start event. The Monza-style race consists of two 50-lap segments with the winner determined by the lowest combined finish. “Race fans in the Quebec City area are not as familiar with open-wheel Modified racing as they are with ACT and Series Castrol Late Models,” Riverside spokesman Yvan Lacroix said. “This will be a chance to show them what they’ve been missing.” The Airborne contingent will include Patrick Dupree, Martin Roy, Pat McGrail, Leon Gonyo, Richard Tisseur, Martin Hebert, Max Viens and Mike Perrotte. They will be joined by several teams from Autodrome Granby. The headline event at Airborne Speedway Saturday, August 13 is the 2nd annual J&S Steel Sportsman “4-20’s”. Each 20-lap sprint pays $500-to-win. The overall winner (four finishes combined) earns an additional $500. Contact: Tom Herzig 802-882-8131 |
