PASS North stretch run starts Sunday

White Mountain kicks off four race season finale

 

NAPLES ME (9/7) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North kicks off a busy four weeks with four races in a row as the weather cools down and the 2011 Championship races for all three PASS North divisions heat up.

Sunday September 11th is the rescheduled White Mountain Motorsports Park date. The 2:00 PM green will feature all three PASS North touring series plus a 40 lap Wildcat/Strictly feature.

 

Then its on to Beech Ridge for the annual PASS 400 weekend presented by Southern Maine Motors .com. The PASS super late models, sportsman, and mods will qualify on Saturday September 17 and race Sunday the 18th. Its 300 laps and $10,000.00 to win plus lap money for round four of the PASS National Championship. There's 100 laps for the PASS Sportsman and a fifty lap go for the Mods. Support divisions will round out both programs and the traditional Mid Week Special kicks off one of the Northeast's biggest racing weekends on Thursday September 15. Thursday's racing gets under way at 5:45 PM. Saturday and Sunday's events are scheduled for a 12:00 noon start.

 

Saturday September 24 will see the super late models and sportsman return to North Woodstock NH when White Mountain Motorsports Park hosts its first PASS National Championship event. It's round five of the National title chase and you can be sure that the PASS South teams that take up the challenge have never seen a quarter mile nestled in the mountains quite like this one. Post time at White Mountain on the 24th is 6:00 PM.

 

The 2011 season will wrap up on Saturday October 1 at Oxford Plains (ME) Speedway.; It's PASS Championship Day and all three PASS North titles will be decided. The North East Mini Stock Tour and a Wildcat/Strictly Stock Special complete a perfect ending to a great racing season. It's a one o'clock green flag.
