Airborne begins 2012 Fourth of July plans
For immediate release AS-070711-1 South Plattsburgh – Airborne Speedway promoter Mike Perrotte announced today that plans to improve upon the race track’s record-setting Holiday Fireworks event are underway. |
“We were both appreciative of the response and a little overwhelmed,” Perrotte said. “With the popularity of Dr. Joe’s (Clauss) fireworks and our racers, it’s clear that parking, traffic control and concession improvements are in order. We know that having an enjoyable experience at a big event is what keeps people coming back.” “In all my years of doing this, I never learned more doing a show,” Dr. Clauss of Adirondack Family Chiropratic said. “Just as Mike is going to make some improvements on his end, I’m going to on mine. It was great fun and we’ll have some more next year.” “There’s been a lot of interest in the touring series events we’ve brought to Airborne, the Race of Champions Modifieds, the American Canadian Tour and the ISMA Supermodifieds,” Perrotte noted. “We are looking at our options for more seating, which will allow us to build upon our success.” Contact: Tom Herzig |
