NAPLES ME (6/1) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Mods make their second start of 2011 Saturday night at Canaan (NH) Fair Speedway and the Mod squad is anxious to get back on track. More than a month has passed since the open wheel warriors have raced and its time to get their season started in earnest.

Bill Dixon and Andy Shaw each claimed a Canaan win in 2010. Scott McDaniel, Leo Oliveira, Alan Wilson and Jon Brill all have podium finishes at the Orange Road racing complex and they will be looking for more on Saturday night.

Defending series champion Andy Shaw won the 2011 season opener at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in dominating fashion. The win put Shaw on top of the early season standings but Alan Wilson, PASS Mod rookie Travis Buzzell, Dana Reed and McDaniel are hot on his heels. Shaw is closing in on Chris Staple's all time win record of twelve, and he has the opportunity to join Staples atop the heap with a Canaan victory. You can be sure he'll be looking for the win and the record when the 40 lap Mod shoot out goes green.

Dare Devils, Classic Lites, Pure Stocks and Super Streets complete the night's card. Grandstands open at 4:00 PM and racing gets underway at 6:00 PM. Canaan Fair Speedway is located on Orange Road, just off from Route 118 in Canaan, New Hampshire.
