$20 per car load fan appreciation special up next

One week after the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model racers battled at Motor Mile Speedway in Virginia, the series is back in action for the seventh race of the 2011 season in the “Orange Blossom Special 125” event at Orange County Speedway in North Carolina. With six different winners so far during the season, fans will be on the edge of their seats for 125 green flag laps of door-banging, tire rubbing action for just $20 per car load.

The Orange Blossom Special is a prestigious event that dates back to the first year the Pro All Stars Series ran in the South. In 2006, Wade Day drove his machine to victory lane. In 2007 Corey Williams went to victory lane and in 2008, Trevor Sanborn put his name in the record books. The past two editions have belonged to Preston Peltier, who is looking to not only three-peat but to score his first win of the 2011 season after four runner up six races 2011 PAS South starts to date..

Peltier isn’t the only one looking towards the top honors Saturday night. Ryan Blaney, Andy Loden and Jay Fogleman have all entered victory lane in 2011 and have filed entries for the Orange Blossom Special. Justin Wakefield, Heath Hindman, Steven Legendre, Jimmy Weller and Jody Lavender haven’t won yet in 2011, but are looking to change that Saturday. Gray Gaulding, Danny Bohn, Brandon Ward, Spencer Wauters and Scott Hensley are just a few of the drivers that will be iattempting to make the Orange Blossom Special field.

After an action packed race at Motor Mile Speedway, the chase for the 2011 PASS South championship got even more intense. Fogleman, with his second-place finish, moved into the championship lead while Blaney slipped to second after an incident on the track. Loden sits in third with Peltier edging his way closer to the top-three. Hindman, like Peltier, is winless so far this season but is looking for a few strong runs to move him up in the standings.

The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South “Orange Blossom Special 125” at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, North Carolina, will kick off on Friday, June 3rd, with an optional practice. On race day, Saturday, June 4th, gates open at 2pm with time trials at 5pm. Racing begins at 7pm with the CCS Late Model Sportsman Tour, Legends, Bandoleros and Allison Legacy Series joining the PASS South Super Late Models. Fans can enjoy all the action for just $20-per-car for general admission.
